Been enjoying the template.

How do I stretch the width of the dropdown background image (or is it fill in?)? My dropdown seems to be 300px but the background stretches 180px of it.

The full 300px of the dropdown is clickable, its jsut the background of it is not stretching all the way across.

Hi dcs1771,

please send me email with url your website. I do not know exactly what your problem.

Hi, I think the theme is great but I am having difficulty installing it. I have had to upload it manually but I can’t see any of the images or slider.

Hi AlexMunich,

please read the documentation. In the event of a problem please contact us. Thanks

Hi, ? have some problem I cant see template module position (mainbody, sidebar etc.)

Hi rebeldeniz,

Do you have some LCP position in the Administrator > Extensions > Module Manager > New (select some modul e.g. Custom html) > Click to Select position ? If you dont, please send me via email login to your website. Thanks

hi; if we want put some module (video, picture gallery etc.) on home page mainbody area I can not, because There is not any module position on mainbody area ;

Hi, mainbody IS NOT a module position. It is an area where your articles will be shown. So you can not place modules in there.

Hi…im need change the speed of JaW Slider. Thanks

Hi, you need to change that in files – this can not be done via some settings. But as we see you allready found it…

i find that thanks! mod_JaW Slider/tmp/default

joomla user component “register” and “login” menu options take you to a page that because the template doesn’t dictate a black background you can’t see writing. eg: http://www.junkmail.com.au/register.html. Sad this very nice looking template does not support much other than joomla. Does not support JomSocial, K2 and only barely kunena. Had I known prior I probably wouldn’t have bought it.

We are sorry to hear that. About your register form – there is problem in style. If you want us to help please send us an email to jaw(@)jawtemplates.com.

I have tried to contact you via the contact form on the template but no joy.

I am on joomla 1.7 but the tweet module is not working I get the following error message

Warning: file_get_contents(api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline/QuicksilverBowe.json?count=) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/moringa/public_html/quicksilver/modules/mod_jawtweets/helper.php on line 6

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/moringa/public_html/quicksilver/modules/mod_jawtweets/tmpl/default.php on line 3

please can you help me out on this one

we see that the module already works correctly. If your problem still persists please let us know (jaw[a]jawtemplates.com) and send us a link to your web.

Hi again, almost got everything worked out. Just one thing – can I remove the Jaw URL at the base of the page

could you give us your email address please (write to jaw[a]jawtemplates.com)? We will send you a necessary php file.

Hey just bought your template and am installing the template on a totally fresh install of joomla 2.5.8

I have created a new JaW Tweets section and am getting the below (I am asking for 2 tweets to be shown as indicated in the Count field) any suggestions would be appreciated:

Warning: file_get_contents(http://twitter.com/status/user_timeline/CoachingB_Ball.json?count=2) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP /1.0 404 Not Found in /home/linweb11/c/coachingbasketball.co.uk/user/htdocs/modules/mod_jawtweets/helper.php on line 6

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/linweb11/c/coachingbasketball.co.uk/user/htdocs/modules/mod_jawtweets/tmpl/default.php on line 3

could you give us your email please (to jaw[a]jawtemplates.com)? We are going to send you a php file which will help you.

I just downloaded the zip file again but the Templates Menager is showing “London Creative +v1.0”. There is no update files avaliable.

Another problem: I can not make the JawSlider or JawGallery works, i dont understand how to add them to a article or make them a standalone visible item.

I need the update files. The zip comes with some PSD files, what should i do with them ?

you have to install the zip (not only download and unpack it). Please see documentation.

You find the JawSlider and JawGallery choices in Joomla’s Components menu (see documentation).

How can make the JawSlider and all Jaw modules be linsted ? They are not in the Modules list and also not present in the “Module assignment for this menu item”.

You find the JawSlider and JawGallery choices in Joomla’s Components menu.

Hey having some problems with each of the JaW modules, I have listed below the errors. Note that I have not tested the slider as of yet can you also advise me of any issues with that and any other bundled modules just in case. Finally on the text on the main menu seems to be out of alignment can you suggest anything?

Latest Article gives me: Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$category_alias in /home/linweb11/c/coachingbasketball.co.uk/user/htdocs/modules/mod_jawlatestarticle/helper.php on line 45

The tweets module gives me: Notice: Use of undefined constant user – assumed ‘user’ in /home/linweb11/c/coachingbasketball.co.uk/user/htdocs/modules/mod_jawtweets/tmpl/default.php on line 5

“Contact us” gives me: Notice: Undefined index: fc_mod_name in /home/linweb11/c/coachingbasketball.co.uk/user/htdocs/modules/mod_jawcontact/tmpl/default.php on line 2

Hi ,

goto the administration > Site > Global Configuration > Server > Error Reporting >>> None and Save

1 – I whant to avoid the break of “read more” and” post all the text + images or vídeos in the blog with no need to click the link to acess the entire post or make bigger the size of the “intro”text. Now i can have only 17 words before break.

As the example here: http://aerovisionbrasil.com.br.previewdns.com/noticias

I tryed to disable “read more” and ïntro text in the article options, also in the category options, also in the module options but it is not working.

2 – I also whant remove the “jawtemplate.com” link in the botom of the page. My e-mail is cristianoconrado@hotmail.com

Please, answer as soon as possible.

1. We are sorry, we don´t see any “read more” in your blog, so we probably don´t understand your query.

2. Please modify templates/london-creative/features/copyright.php file.

I did as you sugested in previous reply for another user …

2) Go to Menus -> Main menu -> Home and there you have to do some changes in Article Options (in right column) – set Show “Read More” to Hide. In Layout Options make sure that you have set some number in Intro articles (number depands on you). The last step is that you have to change php file. Go to /templates/london-creative/html/com_content/featured/default_item.php and on the line 178 change

$this->item->introtext = mb_substr($this->item->introtext,0,150,’UTF-8’) . ’ ’;

// $this->item->introtext = mb_substr($this->item->introtext,0,150,’UTF-8’) . ’ ’;

It means that you only add „//“ in front of this line (without „“). Then it will work – you won´t see the comments on home page but there will be the pagination.

But now i can not have the comment enable in the page … I whant the full text bu i whant the comments also …

What to do ?

“2. Please modify templates/london-creative/features/copyright.php file.”

What modification to do ?

Seems like all of a sudden the thumbnails on the slider stopped working. I cant click on them and they dont move anymore. I have this site on two different servers and both sites stopped working and I havent touched any of them.

please could you send us your link? You can email us at jaw(a)jawtemplates.com.

I’m having a hard time setting up my front page on this template. I own the same template for Wordpress, where buttons 1 and 2 are already installed and the Tweet module works just fine.

Here, however, I can’t get either of those to work.

could you send us the link to your Joomla based site please? You can email us at jaw(a)jawtemplates.com. Thanks

email sent

thanks. To set up your tweets module please go to Admin ? Extensions ? Module Manager ? JaW Tweets ? Edit. Fill in the Nickname which you have on Twitter and number of Tweets you want to display (please see our documentation).

The Button1 and Button2 modules are only simple positions with the HTML content which you put into them. Please see the joomla documentation to learn how to manage the modules.

Is there any way to change up the order of images on the JawSlider for the main header of the site? As of now, any new image added goes to the last slide. Can you make it where the newest slider image added appears first?

we apologize, you also need to change the following ”/modules/mod_jawslider/tmpl/slider_freshcubes.php” file in the line 7:

"SELECT * FROM $table_name ORDER BY id ASC"
and in the line 13:
"SELECT * FROM $table_name ORDER BY id ASC LIMIT 1"

After that you can set up the slider to order the images by ID, from the oldest.

I did both but maybe im missing something cause it’s still in numeric order with the ID. Should the slider images reverse after I change the code or is there something else that I need to do?

could you send us your ftp access please? You can email us at jaw(a)jawadmin.com. If you do not mind, we will set it up for you.

Hello, Slider stoped working, could you help?

Sorry, Im talking about London Creative template, this is Its thread.

We apologize. Please open ”/components/com_jawgallery/jawgallery.php” file in your TXT editor and replace the line 9:

$document->addScript( 'http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js' );

$document->addScript( 'http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js' );

and in ”/modules/mod_jawslider/mod_jawslider.php” file replace the line 13:

once again sorry!

Solved. Thanks for the support

I did the above method to get the slider working again, though after that the slider is missing all together. I noticed your demo slider does not work either.

I have reverted the changes though it has not brough the slider back.

Thank you.

could you send us your link, please? You can email use at jaw(a)jawtemplates.com. Thanks
