The issue could’ve been caused by a number of things, so it would be helpful to look at the website and settings.

  1. website URL, if the website is already live (if it’s not yet live, just send a screenshot of the error);

Sorry, I didn’t completely understand the question…

You need to enter ”#popmaker_XXX” as the link on the page, using the page builder Button block?

In that case, it can be done like on this screenshot.

Please help, the browser back button on desktop/laptop and mobile does not work. The page blanks out and won’t load the content that was previously there. If you click on a link in the home page then press the back button the page won’t load it’s completely blank. This is happening for both mobile and desktop/laptop. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Same thing if I click the browser back or forward button. Both will show blank instead of going to the previous or next pages using the browser.

I’m very sorry for the late answer!

Thank you for the description. I was able to reproduce the error.

Now, I’m not sure if we’ll be able to fix it soon.

But the good news is that there’s a easy workaround:
  1. Go to WP admin -> Loyde -> Theme Options -> Page General Settings;
  2. Under “UX Enhacements (Effects)”, turn off the setting “Add page transitions (fade-out and fade-in) on page load/unload?”: https://i.imgur.com/0lRMxam.png

Drawback of this approach is that you’ll lose that subtle fade/in effect when opening a new page.
But, the “back” functionality should now behave as expected.

Please try that workaround, and see if it works.
If there’s a cache enabled on your site, clear it.

May i know how can support layout block and image show after use in polylang ?

Hello,

First, it’s important to keep in mind that Loyde doesn’t officially claim full support for Polylang (or any other multilanguage plugin).

However, some basic scenarios can be done.

For example, here’s a quick demo which shows a “header” layout block, translated using Polylang.

For this demo, I have:
  1. Installed the free version of Polylang, and applied usual translation process for the following steps;
  2. Translated the main menu;
  3. Translated one of the demo pages;
  4. Translated the “header” layout block, used on that page.
Please note that the demo above required some workarounds, for example:
  1. In the “Menu” widget, under “Load Meny by” setting, it’s necessary to chose “Menu name” instead of “Menu Location”;
  2. The “Logo” widget has to be replaced with the regular “Single image” widget. This is because Loyde doesn’t give possibility to choose a different logo for different language, so a single image has to be chosen instead.

Other workarounds might include some advanced scenarios available in Loyde. The advanced features are described in the online documentation.

I bought the package, I have installed it, I have parameterized it and it has not asked me for the purchase key, after losing the whole day, sent me a message to the mail that I transcribe:

when I gave to activate, I deleted something from the wp manager and forced me to reinstall the wordpress, which I had to do irremediably. I do not know where or how to activate the template, where to put the purchase code and I hope not to have to reinstall the wp. I’m sorry to hear that.

According to your description, it seems like you opted for the premium version of a plugin (Justified Gallery).

The free version of that plugin is installed as part of the theme demo.
After that, the plugin probably asked for upgrade to a payed version, in WordPress dashboard.
However, it’s not necessary to buy any additional plugins.
The theme (i.e. theme demo) works with the plugin versions installed by default.
It isn’t necessary to enter any codes, or make additional purchases.

Now, many “freemium” plugins are using this approach to make people buy their premium version.
Here are some more details (it’s from FAQ of our different theme, but it applies to Loyde also):

So, when you re-import theme demo, you can safely ignore all the upsell messages displayed by installed plugins, in WP dashboard.

When I try and edit and then view a Team Member page, it keeps giving me a 404 page. Any reason this would be happening?

Sometimes WordPress doesn’t immediatelly recognize so-called “custom post types”, i.e. special types of posts created by a theme or a plugin.
Team members are an example of these “custom post types”.
So, this could be the reason for the described problem.

This issue can be otfen solved like so:
  1. Log in to WP admin;
  2. Open the page WP admin -> Settings -> Permalinks. Simply opening this page resets some internal WordPress configuration, and this helps WordPress “recognize” the new post type.

Hi, I want to change a breadcrumb title “Case Study” to “Projects”. I find possibility to change URL “case-study” to “projects” (extra plugin). But better, if we have possibility to make a custom Case Study title and URL inside “Loyde Admin Options”.

Thanks for the interesting idea, we haven’t thought of that.

However, our theme does already support the standard ways of doing this: either through the 3rd-party plugin (like in your case), or through the child theme (by adding a filter,

apply_filters( 'crea_cpt_slug_case_study', __( 'case-studies', 'crea-themeplugin' ) )
).
So for that reason, I have to honest – adding this feature to “Loyde Admin Options” is not a high priority tight now.

I’ve visited the website, and got confused – I couldn’t reproduce the issue you described.
It sounded like a glitch in the slider plugin, on your particular layout.
But on a second glance, it seems like you’ve already found a workaround: https://i.imgur.com/WNouMtD.png

IMHO, this approach with a transparent PNG seems like a good and flexible solution.
Definitely much less trouble than tweaking a slider plugin.

Hi, I need help. I am trying to use an SVG logo. I installed a plugin to upload the SVG file and then set the logo, but it doesn’t show. When I check out the source code, the reference to the logo is there, but it won’t display. Please help. The website is currently password protected, if you require admin access, let me know. However, you could test your theme with any SVG file, and you will see it doesn’t show.

However, here are some potential causes for issues on your end:
  • One possible cause of SVG issues could be a missing plugin…
    As part of the demo import, our theme installs “Safe SVG” plugin: https://i.imgur.com/J6MZ0Qt.png
    This plugin adds support for SVGs to WordPress (SVG support is disabled by default).
    Please verify that this plugin has been installed.
  • After that, please check that the new SVG has been uploaded for all three logo variants: “regular”, “alternative” and “sticky”.
    All three logo variants are uploaded through Theme Options (WP admin -> Loyde -> Theme Options): https://i.imgur.com/bqInmFF.png
  • Also, please double-check if a caching plugin is active on your website. If yes, clear the cache and check if the new logo appears.
