I have a question about wordpress in all (I think anyway), when I use my page ( at iPad 2 the pictures on the index page is pixly, but on a computer or iPad 3 they are sharp as they shuld be. Is there a way to fix this, maby a plugin to render the pixture to suit iPad 2 better or anything ?

Hello I love this Theme but i have a problem. I want to display the page numbers after 5 post and this theme doesn’t have number pages have you a solution ?

Hi there!

The theme does display page numbers just before the footer. If you want to set a maximum of 5 posts per page go to WP-Admin > Settings > Reading > “Blog pages show at most __ posts”.

Hello. I’m having the same issues installing the package as PanZboczeniec. Theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Will you send me instructions, too? Thanks.

Hi there!

Every file, including the style.css, is in the package that you receive. After unzipping the main zip file that you download after purchasing you’ll find 4 subdirectories – Documentation, License, Luminosity and PSD . The only thing that is required from you is to make a zip file of this Luminosity subdirectory. If you’re having difficulties with that one you can send me your email through personal message and I’ll provide you with the zip file in question.

Best regards

How does this them look and work on mobile

Great theme just got it….how do I remove the date and comment on the top portion of the page?

That would require you to use the Appearance > Editor and delete these two lines of code…

<li><div class="date_postmetadata"><span style="padding-left: 22px; padding-right: 6px;"><?php the_time('M jS, Y'); ?></span></div></li>

<li><div class="comments_postmetadata"><span style="padding-left: 22px;"><?php comments_popup_link('No comments', '1 comment', '% comments'); ?></span></div></li> these particular php files: single, archive, index, page, search and press Update file after each change.

Also how do I remove or edit the footer section?

Currently this footer serves only as an example of what you can do with the footer space. It is not widgetized. Read the documentation for more info on what you can do with it.

In order for you to delete the footer you have to once again open the Appearance > Editor and select the footer.php. Then just delete this

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
and press Update file.

and…that goes for the top nav menu as well. How do I exclude items from there?

It’s all explained in the documentation file.

Thanks for all the help, I do appreciate it. I was able to fix everything except the date section area. I was able to get rid of the date and comments, but there’s a square icon that is still displayed. I’d like to also remove that.

I’m not sure which icon do you mean.

The little icon that looks like a book next to the dates/comment/edit bar. Everything was cleared after the changes, but that one. I emailed you screenshot attachment.

Ok, so once again Appearance > Editor and edit the previously listed php files by deleting everything you find between

<div class="postmetadata">

That should include:

<li><div class="category_postmetadata"><span style="padding-left: 22px; padding-right: 6px;"><?php the_category(', ') ?></span></div></li>
<li><span><?php edit_post_link('Edit', ' (', ')'); ?></span></li>

beautiful! Thank you so much :)

the theme does not show the page or post title if they are written in persian language! it only shows english fonts what should i do?

I would say the easiest way of doing that is to go to Appearance > Editor, open the header.php file and delete the following segment:

<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/js/cufon-yui.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/js/League_Gothic_400.font.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/js/cufon.init.js"></script>

...and after that press Update file.

hi Thank you very much, its working :) i love this theme

another question please?:

how can i change the logo picture?

You can read about this in the documentation file.

yes! i’m sorry the documentation file has everything in. also the answer for my past question. thanks

Cute theme! I have three questions.

1. Is the theme translation-ready?

2. Will you make the theme responsive?

3. I read you use cufon, do you know if åäö characters are available in chosen font?

There really aren’t many one column themes to choose from. translation-ready makes it easier to translate, and responsive is a must this year. People visit your blog/website via smartphone and it’s only problematic that they should have to zoom and scroll.

Already purchased this theme – absolutely love it. Is there a way to add Google Adsense code to the individual Posts or Pages? Underneath the article?

Also – can I add Google Adsense image ads in the “Our Sponsors” section?

This would be ideal for adding a little “money making” ability to the theme.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the double post – I cant seem to find any information on adding any kind of image links to the “Our Sponsors” section. I just tried testing it and I get nothing. I am treating like another “list” area and have added image links – still nothing.

Ideally I would like to place a couple of 125×125 Google Adsense ads to this area.

Bought Luminosity last week and trust me, I zero about code, HTML and any of the other web design jargon. I have built several sites over the years starting in iWeb and now using Squarespace as well as customizing some Tumblr sites. I really wanted to get into Wordpress because I felt it opened me up to so many more options. Finally decided to take the plunge and chose Luminosity to be my first theme to work on and set it up through GoDaddy.

I could not be more pleased.

Simeon went beyond the call of duty to help me and I am so proud of my first result! I basically redesigned the Luminosity template and imported my old Tumblr blog and made all the necessary adjustments.

Thanks Simeon!

does anyone know of an archive plugin that looks and works like the Tumblr archive function? I have tried a bunch but nothing works as well or as smoothly. I want to be able to include a thumbnail pic in the archives.

I bought this because I liked the way it looks but I see no documentation on how to install this in wordpress. How is it done?

Hi there! The way you install the theme is by unzipping the main file and uploading the Luminosity directory to this location –
