We are having problems with the latest release of the Maison theme (which appears to be fairly old?). We now can’t upload portfolio images and edit various elements.
The issue has been isolated to the Edge CPT plugin that comes with the theme. We have tried earlier versions of theme/WP, but this has caused critical errors on the site, below are error details. Can you give any direction to fix this as soon as possible please?
WordPress version 6.2.1 Active theme: Maison (version 1.10) Current plugin: Edge CPT (version 1.0.2) PHP version 8.1.17

The Edge GPT is not showing that a newer version (1.2) as being available via the plugins area (only Version 1.0.2). Are there any other options for accessing this file? We urgently need to solve this, thank you

The update won’t be listed in Plugins > Installed Plugins. The plugins with the available update will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins as we previously mentioned (please see screenshot).

The Edge CPT plugin is already installed, we just need the higher version which is not showing in ‘Install Plugins’. I can’t attach a screen shot to this post to show you it’s not there. You mention “You can also locate .zip installable files on this path \wp-content\themes\maison\includes\plugins”. Have looked there and the only version available is the 1.0.2, as per installed. Can Edge CPT 1.2 be added to the theme files for installation and benefit to all users?
We couldn’t reproduce this on our end. The version of Edge CPT plugins listed in Appearance > Install Plugins is 1.2 (please see screenshot). Also, we’ve double checked and the version included in \wp-content\themes\maison\includes\plugins is also 1.2.
Are you sure you’ve updated the theme to latest 1.10 version? Could you please send us url of your site to check?

In your first message you wrote that you are running Maison (version 1.10) which is the latest version of theme listed in change log. You cannot update Edge CPT plugin without updating the theme to the latest version.
To update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

We back-dated to 1.10 only to test. The latest that is on the site is 1.3 as per our screen grab.
We have the latest theme installed, and the Edge GPT plugin is still not available. We just need the file somehow please.
We’ve checked and we see that you are still running the outdated theme version (please see screenshot).
As we previously mentioned, you need to update the theme first by following instructions from the article we’ve linked. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

We have attempted to update the theme. When we do this we encounter errors with how the site is displayed. You’ll see now with the current theme that it’s a blank homepage. We have had to revert at stages to ensure the site is visible for clients. It’s either; the new theme and not looking right visually or older theme and we can’t edit the portfolio and the Edge GPT has a fatal error. What do you suggest?

I’m using this theme on a client site and noticed that there is a conflict between it and WP Bakery. It’s not possible to use the frontend editor of WP Bakery with this theme now which is pretty crippling. Any ETA on a fix?

Current version of the theme should work correctly with the latest version of WordPress. One of the simplest and most important things for SEO is H1 titles. So this theme is NOT prepare for SEO (search engine optimization), and it will not be prepare in the future. Is the first time this happen with a purchase theme.

OK so all of a sudden this theme is now compatible with WP 6.1 with no new release of the theme, how can someone with two purchased licenses get updates for WP Bakery and Slider revolution without download a new version of the theme?

For a good SEO we need theme to have posts and portfolio title tags as H1, and the theme comes with titles as H3. We did it, but is not working: “You can use H1 heading for titles and this can be set in “Edge Title” options.”
This option is for title area only (it will not affect all titles throughout the theme). Since Title Area is the first section of the page this is the section which should have H1 heading (please see screenshot).
Customization of theme files falls out of the support scope and if you want to edit theme template files this is something you need to do on your own or find a 3rd party to assist you with. The blog title shown in screenshot is located on this path wp-content\themes\maison\framework\modules\blog\templates\singles\standard\helper.php
Template files for blog are located here wp-content\themes\maison\framework\modules\blog\ so if you wish to edit them to suit your need you can find them here.

I have the desktop nav set to not sticky on scroll (No behaviour). But the mobile nav is still sticky on scroll up on IOS. This renders part of the nav outside the screen. Do you have a way to disable that?
