Love the look and the feel of template! Great design!

Cheers, meks

Thanks buddy!

Very nice design. Now i just need to find a projekt to use it on.

Nice work.

Thanks remydk!

I just got it. I cna only say it is a shame the code is so sloppy… Bad buy!

Hi remydk,

I’m sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the purchase. However, the code in this template is organized, commented and documented. But if you run into a problem anyway, I’m here to provide my assistance as always.

Very well designed code and organised template i love it.

Wanted to say thank you for your work.

Thank you, I appreciate it. :)

HI again

i am just wondering i want to add something to the template a feedback button or something like that.

could you suggest something for me please you are obviously on a better knowledge than me.

Unfortunately, I have never used feedback buttons, so I don’t really know much about it. You can take a look at this article, and maybe you find something that suits your need – 14 Customer Feedback Tools for Small Business.

Will do thanks again

seems your theme strips script tags within the posts, i have tried adding the rawr plugin to no effect, then at my whits end, tried another theme and the script tags are not removed, can you point me in the right direction as to why your theme strips out script tags within the html of the post

are you referring to the WP version (because this is HTML version page)? Please send me an email (from my profile page) with a little more details about this, and we’ll what’s the problem.

Hello, I just purchased the template. I read the documentation but can’t figure out how to make a change the flexslider on the home page.

I would like to remove the bullets and the shape that surrounds them that is on the center of bottom border.

I would also like to remove the circles with the directional arrows that are on the left and right edge of the image being displayed.

My goal is a simple slider with no user control options.

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi elizab, thanks for choosing my template.

When you open index.html in text editor, find the section near the top that is marked as <!-- flexslider code -->. There, set this options to be false:

directionNav: false,
controlNav: false,

Hello, very nice template! I have a problem on the display of the French letter (i.e. éçêàè…) and Chinese character in the Contact mail. What should I do to display French letter and Chinese character in Contact mail ? Thank you in advance. Furthermore, why I received the message ” Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /htdocs/bijoux/phpMailer/class.phpmailer.php on line 472” after clicking Submit button?

Hi qiang,

I’ve tried placing those French letters in input fields in contact form and they are showing as expected, so I’m not sure what is the problem in your case. Where are you trying to add them exactly? For the Chinese character – the current font does not support them (http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Pontano+Sans ). You’ll need to use another font to display that single character.

I didn’t had any problems when hitting submit button, but I’ll look into it.

There is no problem on the input of these letters. However, the display of these letters has a problem in email of Hotmail. But, when I use a Gmail address in the sendEmail.php, these letters (even Chinese characters) can be displayed in Gmail. So, it is perhaps just a problem on the decoding configurations of my Hotmail.

Hi, I’m positive that’s a Hotmail’s issue.

About that message you received when trying to send the email – please try updating PHPMailer to the latest version. You can go to http://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/phpmailer/ and from the left sidebar select PHPMailer_5.2.1.tgz. After download, extract the archive, and rename the folder (the inner one that actually holds the files) PHPMailer_5.2.1 into phpMailer. Then move that renamed folder into your sites directory (there is already phpMailer folder there, which you’ll need to remove or backup somewhere else).

Let me know if that helped.

Hi dabaman,

A very nice template which I have just purchased and having a look at. A couple of comments:

When I was making some changes to the index page I validated the document and got a lot of unexpected errors. On checking I noticed the opening <head> tag is missing (think this is on all files), once this was corrected the page was error free.

My other comment (or question) regards IE9 . On my PC running Windows 7 the Google fonts do not display correctly. The “main_title” Cookie font for example does not display as a ‘hand written’ font. Is this normal?

Hi Bofrok,

the opening <head> tag is indeed missing, great catch! I’ll fix this in my next update. However, the page still validates as valid HTML5 for me, how did you get those errors?

Hi dabaman,

Please disregard my IE9 comment above. All is okay when trying a test file from a server – I did not realise IE9 does not display correctly when working from the local hard drive, unlike Firefox.

Hi dabaman,

I was using CSE HTML Validator though to be fair it is version 10 and I think there is a newer version out now so that might be the reason? Might have to see about upgrading.

BTW they were mostly scripting errors because of the missing tag.

To tell you the truth, I’m not familiar with that program. I validate my code only with W3C validator, which is THE validator. :)

Hi dabaman,

Thanks for this very good template.

I have just a little problem ; in a long page, I want to have internal links like this : a href=”#something”. In the document, I write a name=”something”.

It does not work. The navigator goes to the first div at the top of the page ?

I don’t understand. Thank you for your help and best regards from Switzerland :)

Hi perflo, you need to add id=”something” (not name=”something”). :-)

how can i make it full screen , it leaves alot of room on the right on most monitors?

While not really a full width, you can increase maximum width of entire site container to lets say 1440px. Paste this code just before media queries part of the css file:

#container { max-width:1440px; }
#menu { width:15.2777777%; }
#content {
    margin-right: 4.4871794%; }

And just slightly bellow, add this inside “@media only screen and (max-width:768px)” section:

#content { margin-right:0; }

Dear dabaman,

This template is freaking awesome. I love it, but I have a little problem with my customized one.

I changed some things on index.html but now the mobile compatibility is broken on e.g.: Iphones. It opens the standard webpage instead of the mobile version. Other subpages are working fine.

Could you look at it?

Thanks for your help!

Regards, Gyuri

Hi Gyuri,

I don’t have an iPhone to check this out, but everything looks ok when trying to resize browser window – the layout changes according to the viewing resolutions properly.

Could you try viewing it again on your mobile, but try to empty the cache first, perhaps it might help.

I bought this template and am very happy with it! Really nice customer service too. Had question before I purchased about a logo. Dabaman was quick in responding and even did a mock up for me. Great experience over all.

Question about widgets on the blog…It looks like there isn’t one for people to follow by email. Is that the case?

Hi Tieler, this is the comment section for site template version – the one for WordPress is here. But yes, the blog doesn’t come with subscription option.

Ah, thank you. Again, nice work!

I am having an issue with the responsiveness of iphone also. Did the guy up above get a resolution – or tell me what to look for. Also an embedded you tube video isn’t resizing on iphone either and they always do. Also the footer is coming up into the menu and the flexslider doesn’t slide. The menu changes and the page windows resize.

just checked on laptop myself and it only shows half of menu items. What would I change to make the whole page scroll not just the inner content? Thanks

menu is not supposed to scroll, but you make it so if you apply:

#menu { overflow:auto; }

But that doesn’t look good because you get scrollbars at the right and bottom. What I suggest is to decrease space at the top of the left column and space between the menu and the logo. You can also use smaller logo, tighten the menu links and use submenus to get more space.

#menu { padding-top: 35px; }  // less space at the top
#menu_list { margin-top: 40px; } // less space above menu list
#menu_list li a { margin-bottom: 0.8em; } // tighten menu links

Thanks – I tightened it up – works for 10 items- Thanks for the support.

Hello, this is a very nice template… everything is in place ready to use and customization is not very hard, ¡i changed the whole color/typography scheme in just a couple of hours! Also, is built with jquery 1.9 which makes me think i could add more jquery based fancy stuff without messing with the site behaviour. Thanks a lot… So long not hard to work with, very pleased to finish the job fast.

I was viewing in chrome previously. This should fix it:

.tooltip { z-index:10000; }

Man that was great! Thank you very much i´ll make sure i get more templates from you… great work and support.

You’re welcome! Don’t forget to rate the template with 5 stars if you haven’t already. ;)

I’ve been working with the template for a couple of days and it’s pretty cool…I’m glad to be back in the html world after a frustrating stint with Wordpress.

I’m thinking about making some sort of horizontal footer that I can have persistent info on. Do you think that’s going to be possible and still keep it responsive? Any pointers or tips to head me in the right direction?

I don’t see why not. Place it inside the container element, and give it a fixed position. Something like this:

#hor-footer {
width: 100%;
min-height: 40px;
background: #666;
position: fixed;
bottom: 0;

I’ve been thinking about altering your code to have the navigation be an server side include, but it seems not to work. I’m very new to this, is there something in your code that might be preventing this?

I don’t believe that anything should be preventing that. The only script in this template that interacts with the menu is accordion menu plugin (‘dcjqaccordion.js’ file, as well as assisting ‘hoverIntent.js’ script). The initializing script for this plugin is found inside ‘mixed.js’ file, under ‘NAVIGATION’ title. So, if you are not using submenus, try to remove all this to make sure that there isn’t any conflict.

Also, make sure your menu list has and id of “menu_list”.
