Hello, I just purchased your template, and installed the maja.zip. But when I view my website, all I see is a completely blank page. I am on the latest version of of Wordpress. Do you happen to know what is going wrong?

the problem is in the ‘wppdf’ plugin – it is overwriting some theme’s styling. You can fix this by pasting this css code inside ‘Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS’:

#menu {
  top: 0;
  left: 0;
  position: fixed;
  padding:55px 0 0 0; }

Thanks, I just deleted the plugin. That is disturbing that a plugin can so easily mess up a theme’s styling like that. How were you able to figure out it was the culprit?

There is an inspect tool in every browser (right click > inspect element), where I was able to see that.

Also, please note that some default styling (like fonts, etc) was not loaded by default when you activated the theme, so make sure you go to ‘Appearance > Customize’ and save the settings (you may need to change just one value to be able to save).

Need to change the value text for : “Go to page…” with “MENU” or something else. Thx by advance

I had that option inside the customizer (‘Appearance > Customize’), but now I realized that it got lost in one of the latest version of WP, since they made some changes to that section. I’m going to release an update in the following days that fixes this. If you don’t want to wait, please contact me from my profile page and I’ll email you a theme’s file that fixes this.

Please send me the theme files to fix asap

You need to contact me so I can catch your email. Or you can write it here.

How can i change the font size text for my portfolios images?

You can change it by adding this css inside ‘Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS’:

.portfolio_group h5 { font-size: 1.3em; }
.portfolio_group p { font-size: 1em; }

First line is for the headings, the second one for the paragraphs (description).

Where can I customize or use a footer for the whole Web site?

This theme doesn’t have a footer widget area, the only footer for the entire site is a bottom part of the left sidebar, which accepts only social icons and a copyright message. If you need some content added bellow everything in the right portion of the site, you’ll need to edit footer.php file (just make sure you do it in the child theme).

Need to customize the size of my headings and texts. It seems i can change te different textes color in Appearance > Customize > But for Fonts i can only select one size and not configure each font type size.

Thx by advance

here is the css for all heading sizes:

h1 { font-size:2em; }
h2 { font-size:1.8em; }
h3 { font-size:1.6em; }
h4 { font-size:1.4em; }
h5, #sidebar h2, h2.widgettitle { font-size:1.3em;  }
h6 { font-size:1.1em;  }

.main_title { font-size:2.7em; }

.subtitle { font-size:1.45em; }

If you want to increase the size of the entire text in the content area:

#wrapper { font-size: 1em; }

Anyway, if you need to change some specific element, right click on it in your browser and chose ‘inspect element’. That will show you what class it is using, and than you can style it differently with css.

Need to change footer text size and colour.

Thx by advance

The only color changes that can be made here are to the copyright message and to the tooltips text. The social icons are an image, and you’ll need to edit their file (images/social_icons.png) if you want a different color.

#copyright_info { color: #777; }
div.tooltip { color:#b3b3b3; }

Font size for that area:

#menu footer { font-size: 1em; }

It is possible to center texts and elements when in responsive mode – smartphone view ?

Theme doesn’t have that option.

I am trying to change the background on the right side. I read through the comments and still do not understand. I tried #html { background: url(photo link); }

One more thing. Is there a way to stop the automatic border around an uploaded image?

And is there a way to add additional fonts to the database?

- You can add this css (inside ‘Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS’, or inside your child theme stylesheet) to remove the borders from uploaded images:

img.size-full, img.size-medium, img.size-thumbnail, img.size-large {
border:none !important;
border-radius:0; }

- You can add new Google fonts to the list by editing ‘google-fonts.php’ file inside the ‘lib’ folder. If you are not familiar with this, let me now what fonts (but only from this list – https://www.google.com/fonts) you want to add and I’ll send you the updated file.
