I can not active theme in spite of do anything by their guide.

Author response

Manual theme has no bug, sometimes API does not process smoothly creating an issue, in such case you need to try using different browser to solve an issue. Please post your query on our private support desk

https://smartwpthemes.com/submit-a-ticket/

This way we can help you activate manual theme.

Thanks

for Flexibility

Everything is perfect, the theme gives you full control of anything and they provide great support. Thanks so much for this awesome theme

for Bugs

The forum theme does not support language other than English. I submitted ticket on author's support website. I was told to wait for them to work on this issue, then they closed my ticket even though the problem was not solved. Without the multi-language support promised in description, I cannot use this product. Two stars not one, because I think it could be a great theme if it worked.

Author response

The forum fully support other languages also your site is fully changed to other language the ONLY text that is not changing was;

The sentence "You must be logged in to create new topics".

Our team looking at the issue and we can't do sudden changes to our core theme and release the new version specially when new upcoming version already on the development phase.

Your support ticket was close by the system, if there is no any response via both end the system close the ticket and we had clearly mentioned in our support system too.

Thanks

Just brilliant, I've purchased quite a few WordPress themes, and Manual is by far the best, I've not needed support, but the theme qualify is awesome, love everything about it, thank you :)

for Documentation Quality

We really made an effort to try and fit this theme into our knowledgebase site. Elementor support was a great deal for us, so when we saw "100% Elementor ready" and the "Well Documented" tags, we believed that we were in good hands.

However, as we found out, the 100% Elementor support consists of a sample site setup and no more. No documentation on how to work with the sites elements in Elementor. That, and numerous typos in the UI this really hard to work with and not very professional.

We reached out to the author for a refund and they simply replied with a screenshot that they have an Elementor sample. Super inflexible.

To top it off, our hosting provider took issue with the file "/wp-content/themes/manual/z.php" due to their malware scanner having found something bad (Shell:PHP/Evalrequest.A) (I am sure you can find other examples like mine in the ratings and comments). We raised a dispute with Envato and they have been unable to help so far, so we have given up trying to get our money refunded.

Theme works "ok" and even looks kinda nice if you're willing to put up with the inferior WPBakery plugin.

-- We are saying you are still in good hands... as told before the Manual theme is 100% Elementor ready but, the manual only has 1 site demo using an Elementor.

-- There are no hard rules... manual just follow simple elementor default rules to create pages using an Elementor. You just need to follow Elementor manual on how to create a new page and all https://elementor.com/help/create-new-page/

-- The refund was later processed, although we shared a screenshot.

-- This is a FALSE ALLEGATION because the manual theme never had any "z.php" page inside the manual folder. Just download the fresh "manual.zip" file and unzip you will never find any "z.php".

It's best to always cross-check before you TYPE ANYTHING FALSE. Also as told the refund was later processed, although we shared a screenshot so there is no any question about "raised a dispute" or "given up trying to get our money".

Sorry, guys. I installed the theme and all the required plugins. Then the documentation demo content and the several *additional* plugins required for that. But I wasn't able to progress past the next most basic step - setting the front page and posts page - because the "News" posts page item didn't even exist in the dropdown. When I went to your support page to inquire about this issue, my virus blocker software went off on every page. Since this was brought to your attention by another customer 3 months ago - and is clearly still an issue - I am left with doubts about the potential security of the theme itself and have uninstalled it. I would appreciate a refund, since it was installed for less than one hour. It's disappointing since the theme seemed like what we needed, but unresolved viruses on your support page, which attempt to install software on my computer, simply don't inspire confidence in a vendor. In case it matters, it's JS:Trojan.Cryxos.8071.

Author's support site is spreading malware as it is hacked. Theme has a bug and I cannot get support. This is second company I work at as web dev and in 10 years on this site, this is the worst experience with a purchase I have had.

Author response

We respond to all your question on time (within 24 hours an less) what you call a bug. Below are your bug questions and our response that you have posted in the comment section 6 days ago.

1. For “Knowledgebase” – > “Category page” in theme options I have enabled “Display all child category records inside parent category”. I only see KB posts when going to parent category, child categories are NOT shown.

>> When the feature is enabled all root/child category posts will display under the same root category so you will see just the records.

2. For Knowledgebase widget, all categories as listed as equals with no indentation as well, treating all categories as parent categories.

>> You need to check on the option “Show hierarchy” this will separate the root category and the child category.

3. If I go to “Knowledgebase” -> “Taxonomy order” from WP control panel, I can see that it shows a parent-child relationship, but nothing in the theme is actually using the taxonomy.

>> Taxonomy order is for the KB category custom order and will work perfectly for the KB landing page. i.e over here: http://demo.wpsmartapps.com/themes/manual/kb-style-two/

About "Author's support site is spreading malware as it is hacked"... It's a web so no website is completely safe sometimes. Every hosting and development team tries their best to make sites malware-free but sometimes the issue will generate.

We like to thank you for warning us related to the malware issues that we have on our website. The issue has been taken care and it's safer than before to visit the site :)

Few issues with the theme. Not well made some of the options don't even work. Some things are hard coding in that just shouldn't be. Its a good base to start your own work on though.

Author response

It would be best if you can show all the issues & hard coding so that we can improve the manual to the next level.

Congrats to the developers.
Very easy to use and with a lot of possibilities.
Great job, continue giving suppot to this theme, please.
There is no one similar.

for Bugs

Impossible to install. Tried different themes they all have errors. I'm sorry

Author response

We cross-checked several times but didn't encounter an issue you just posted at the time of demo import.

Manual is 99% error-free with the most flexible and powerful features PLUS it is compatible with the lowest PHP version 5.6 to 7.2+

We love to know the issues that you have encounter this way we can make the manual more powerful, as you know without the bug fix issue no theme will go more powerful.

There are some problems of your theme and I cannot use this theme, I must change to other.

Author response

There are no bugs :) and we have response your open ticket after 6 hours of your private ticket post (bz of the week days we got few hours late)

You simply failed to read all the instruction creating an issue. We have outline all the steps you need to follow, just follow the instruction to make it correct :)

Also, i hope you can change the BUG status plus the rating ;)

Thanks

for Documentation Quality

Kind of ironic, that this is a theme for a documentation but holds pretty much no documentation at all for its features, setup and so on.
Really bad!
