Quick pre-sale questions.

I love you theme. It’s great. There are a couple of things I want to do, and hope you will be able to help me out with.

1) Add Widget Area above featured posts (below navigation). I intend to use this area for a call to action.

2) Create a widget area behind the content, and then space between two areas of the content, so that when a user scrolls, the fixed widget reveals from behind content. Does this make sense?

3) Use something other than “reviews” in that content area on the home page. I like the look, but my site will likely not have reviews.

There are other things, but please let me know about these three.

Hi, thanks for your interest in Margot! :)

1,2) Unfortunately this would require some advanced customization, which is beyond the scope of theme support.

3) Yes, this area is not for reviews only. From the Theme Options Panel you can choose what type of posts you want to show (Reviews, Featured Posts, Format Posts or Latest Posts) and filter the query by category. For example, you can choose to show the latest posts under the “Music” category.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi, I would to know if it’s possible to have the single post page without sidebar, and with content of the posts full width.

How can I do? I tried to set the sidebar for ‘all pages’ and for ‘one single post’ pages without any widget, but it still appear on the left.

I tried to set a template page in the post option or to find it in the “Customize” panel of the thema, but I didn’t find a solution.

Thank you so much

You can make a post Full-Width by checking the “Disable Sidebar” option in the “Posts Options” box (where you can also mark a post as Featured or Review). Currently there is no option to disable the sidebar on all posts, but it’s possible with a small tweak. Please contact me via the Support page for the details.

I desire to purchase your theme, but I want comments to use Facebook Comments on ALL Posts, is this possible?

Hi, thanks for your interest in Margot!

Currently there is no option to use the Facebook Comments on all posts, but it can be done with a minor modification to the theme files. If you buy the theme, please contact me via the Support page to help you with that.

I would like to know what controls the amount of text that appears as a excerpt. I get very inconsistent results with some being very short others very long which plays havoc with layout and readability. It there a setting that I’m blinded too?

Great to hear you figured it out! :)

Inibot, in posts I don’t see the “Post Options” box. On pages I do see a Page setting box that has the sidebar option. What I’m I missing here that I don’t see that on Post, cause it sounds mighty handy.

Great theme by the way.

Hey there,

Sorry, but I just noticed you don’t have the “Purchased” and “Supported” badges. Please post your comment from the account you bought the theme or send me your purchase code through the contact form on the Support page.
