Hi Support,
I have inherited a site from another developer. I want to remove layer slider from theme and replace it with a responsive static image on the homepage. The plugin is causing issues with the site, I have tried paying for the full license and updating the plugin but it doesn’t solved the problem I am having. If i disable the plugin – it works fine. Any help would be appreciated? Thanks

Layer slider plugin is fully compatible with the theme. As far as we can see you’re using WPBakery Page Builder plugin for content adding. We should note that we didn’t test third-party plugins functioning with the theme and thus can’t guarantee their compatibiity, appreciate your understanding. The theme comes with the in-built editor Visual Content composer that should be used for content adding/editing. Please deacivate all third-party plugins and use the Content Block shortcode to add the needed image.

Hello, I have already purchased and installed your theme long time back. I need to upgrade it. Before upgrading i have some queries:
1) Does your latest theme version supports wordpress 5.6?
2) Does it supports PHP 7.4 and above?
3) For the above two upgrades do i have to install the whole theme again or just the ‘update’ folder of the theme?

1) Our developers are working on updates at the moment – we do our best to release updates as fast as possible and highly appreciate your patience.
The theme is fully compatible with WordPress 5.5.3 version. As a temporary solution you can either use WordPress 5.5.3 version or try to use Test jQuery Updates plugin and Classic Editor plugin with the following settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/WPRECgXLwQl2) At the moment there are no known issues with the theme functioning on PHP 7.4 and above. Please let us know if you face any.
3) To update the theme download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as medicure/medicure). I recommend you to rename the theme version you used previously (for example name the theme folder “medicure-old”), in such a case this theme version will be backed up at your server.
Besides don’t forget to update plugins in case it is noted on the WordPress admin panel after the theme is updated.

The layer slider doesn’t work with PHP version 7 and above, My home page was not displaying with php version 7.1 and and above. I had to deactivate this plugin. However it works with PHP version 5.6.

Please make sure that you are using the latest slider version – 6.11.2, that comes into the theme archive. It functions correctly with PHP 7. The easiest way to make your site look like our demo one is to import demo content. The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site.The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning the demo content import.
Please note, that all images are not included in the demo content and are substituted with placeholders as according to our license we can’t redistribute them.

Current theme version is available for download on Themeforest. To update the theme download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as medicure/medicure). Sometimes there is also a need to deactivate the theme and activate it again to make all changes that were implemented function correctly.

I can’t activate revolution slider, it requires Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.

To activate a slider there is a need to use its purchase code (not the theme purchase code). You don’t need a purchase code to make your slider work – it is needed to achieve automatic updates. We are the owners of an extended license and have no rights to provide the purchase code for users but of course we provide you all necessary updates. Usually the latest slider updates are included to the new theme version.

I have got this error on home page “LayerSlider encountered a problem while it tried to show your slider. Please make sure that you’ve used the right shortcode or method to insert the slider, and check if the corresponding slider exists and it wasn’t deleted previously.” I can’t see that on home page too. I used right shortcode.

Embedded video posts DO NOT WORK! The only way to get it to display as a video post is to select “Self-hosted” and paste it into the text section. Can this please be fixed? It’s unsightly and unprofessional-looking.

There are no known issues with the latest theme version (1.4.5) functioning. If you do not see changes on the website it may be caused by your browser or server cache. To clear cache in Chrome browser you can push Ctrl + F5 or press F12, right-click on “reload page” and click “Empty cache and hard reload”. Issues related to the changes that are not applied on the front-end are not theme-related and always refer to the cache settings. We can recommend you to contact your hosting provider regarding the issue you have in order to clear the cache on the server.

Hi there, I am going to install the latest version of this theme today because google is now saying:
“Mobile Usability issues detected on XXXX.com/
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 Mobile Usability issue: Text too small to read”
Does the new theme version fix the font size? I think it is too small to read on mobile devices. I can’t change this in the theme settings anywhere and I’m not smart enough to edit the .css for fear of breaking it!

Hi, when I add a new page and I choose a Services page template in page Attributes section, it doesn´t show the settings that should be available for services pages. What’s more, whatever page template I choose the settings are always the same. Why aren´t shown the different ones for each template?

“Service” in URL cannot be removed or changed to any other word as it refers to custom post type (Services) and when you’re on a page created as a service there’s no possibility to get rid of it’s mentioning in the link and for proper theme functioning the permalink structure should be kept exactly in a such way. Hi there. I notice the “Tagline” in “Site ID” overrides yoast SEO metadescription. Is there any way to remove this? When I leave it empty and registers a blank metadescription on google which is BAD. And if I populate it it overrides the yoast SEO metadescription on every page? Have had this theme for 4 years and still adore it! THanks so much!

Question for you. Does the plug in – WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress Work inside this theme.
The built in composer is not the best to work with. Formatting text inside this has is becoming harder and harder as I grow this site. If i can’t figure a better way to format text, I will have to leave this theme. Please let me know. Thanks
