I would like to know how to add my social media handles / icon to my “Hosted” section on each page / episode?

I see that I’m able to add my website through my “User profile” page but, I don’t see how or where to add my social media info? Is there a tutorial that can show me how to add my socials?

Hi When I go to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Podcast -> General -> Select categories to separate podcast from regular blog, I chose my blog category “Blog” but I still see the blog posts in the episodes page as if they are episodes. Any Idea? Thanks

Quick question…on the Search Modal, the search form input content text is white. Is there a simple CSS snippet we can add that will change that input text to another color?

Are you still updating your themes? We were thinking about purchasing a theme from you and noticed none of your themes have been updated in more than a year.

When adding custom content, if we add an image that is linked, the image gets an underline added. Can’t seem to find a setting where we can removed the underline for links. Is there an easy setting, or will we need to accomplish this through CSS? Thanks.

Hello! I purchased your theme but haven’t used it in a while. I really love some of the stuff that has been added since I got it! I want to switch back but I have a few questions:

1) Can the “Shows” (the category list with episodes listed below it) be added to any page with shortcodes or something?

2) Are the “hosts” and “guests” actually wordpress authors? We are a narrative podcast so I’d want the cast members who are in each episode listed on the episode page despite the fact that I post them all, even if I’m not in them. Is there a way to select who is shown as the “host”?

3)Is there a page where all the hosts can be displayed? I’m not finding a page like that on the demo. We are a narrative podcast so I’d want the cast members who are in each episode listed on the episode page and then have a full cast page where everyone is shown.

4) Are the “host” boxes customizable? I don’t think I’d want the full bio on each page but having the bio on the cast page would be great.

5) When you click on an individual host and see their archive page, is it possible to have show lists there instead of just archives of all the individual episodes?

6) Can videos and youtube playlists be embedded in pages easily? We release our shows as videos and audio podcasts.

Hiya! I have a question about configuring the footer. When I go to Customize > Theme Options > Footer, there are multiple options for choosing the number and sizing of the columns you would like in a footer.

With the instructions that “Each column represents one Footer Sidebar in Appearance -> Widgets settings” I assumed I would find matching options in the widget settings, but as the options in the customizer contain numbers “5”, “6”, “8”, and “12” but under Appearance -> Widgets I see only options for Footer Columns numbered 1 to 4, this does not appear to be the case.

I searched this message board, the documentation, and the YouTube tutorials for instructions on how to resolve this and I can’t find anything. Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?

I thought I would post here before submitting a ticket in case anyone else has the same question and it’s easily answered. Thanks for the great theme!

I recently purchased this theme and I tried submitting this support request via the support website, but the form failed on multiple attempts so I’m posting my question here.

I followed the instructions to setup a separate category for blog posts where I have one category called “Up Against Reality” for podcast episodes and another called “Blog” for blog posts. When I go to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Podcast -> General -> Select categories to separate podcast from regular blog and try to choose “Blog”, it’s not available. The only category listed in “Up Against Reality”.

I’m using Wordpress 6.2.2. I’m also using the v10.2.1 of the Blubrry PowerPress plugin.

Thank you for such a great podcast theme! I wanted to ask if I could get a bit of help with a small issue? I’m building out my site.. ChatPodcast.com and I have two questions:

1. Is there a way to change the default color from a dark Grey for the “Latest Episode” section to “Black”? If so, can you let me know how to do that?

2. On mobile, tablet and desktop.. I have an issue with instagram widget at the bottom showing as “vertical” and not carousel. Is there a way to enable the instagram widget to show as “Carousel”? Here’s a screenshot to show what I see.. also, the instagram button is a bit cut off at the top. You can see that in the screenshot below.

A client purchased and asked me to use a player for all his podcasts on spotify. The player is not detecting spotify files, if I copy the link and paste it as audio, it shows a spotify player inside the meks audio player. How do I embed the spotify audio file into meks audio player?

Hi. Now that I own the theme and am trying to set it up, I’m having a little bit of difficulty understanding the intent behind the design, in terms of functionality for users.

I already have a third-party host with an RSS feed. When I followed advice you gave someone else to install Seriously Simple Podcast, that plugin is looking for me to set up a brand new unpublished show. So, I’m confused about whether or not I can actually use this theme for what I thought it was for. Is it possible for someone who has an existing podcast to be able to import the feed have those shows display in the players, as shown in the demo and add show notes, transcripts, chapter markers/timestamp, etc? Or was your intent to design something that looks nice if someone has the bandwidth to use local files or YouTube videos?

In any event, I think it will help future customers if there is clarity about this in your documentation and marketing. You’ve created a beautiful design. But right now, I’m frustrated that I can’t go live with my website any time soon. I don’t seem to have a way to feed my episodes to it and, right now, I’m concerned that I’m going to have to do a significant amount of custom work in order to get that functionality. That would defeat the purpose of the purchase price paid.

Is there a way to automate podcast uploading from RSS?

I’m having an issue on my iPhone and Android where I’m looking at my instagram widget and because my instagram name/handle is so long..it’s stretching across and overlapping the word “Instagram Feed” How can I change the words on my widget from “Instagram Feed” to something shorter to something like.. “Follow Us” so my Instagram name/handle does not overlap the wording of “Instagram Feed”?

Hello. I have some questions.

• 1 – Are the audio files uploaded to web hosting or an external service and linked?
• 2 – Does it allow you to create a list of audios and automatically go from one audio to the next when the previous one ends?
• 3 – Does this template generate an RSS feed with the list of each podcast to be able to send it to: Apple podcast, Google podcast, Spotify, Soundcloud, Overcast, Amazon music, iHeartRadio, Castbox, Pocket cast, RadioPublic, Stitcher…?
