Hello How we can add some background image to Metro theme? Do not like that white color in fixed styles.

You can do it via css – just add background image rule to ‘body’.

Please can You give me some exempel… and where do that? regards bosss

Here’s a quick tutorial on adding a background image – http://www.csstutorial.net/2010/03/adding-a-background-image-with-css/

Hello You design Metro Theme for Drupal (Forum)

Sorry, we don’t do custom designs for Drupal.

I like this style. Are you available for some customization? 1. Header and footer, so that they match my site. 2. Different placement of the search and registration.

Please let me know….

Can you contact us via our profile page and describe in more details the customizations?

I will. I’m going to prepare a doc so that you know what customizations I would like. Thank you for responding quickly.

Will you support vBulletin 5 for both liquid/fluid/responsive desktop + mobile?

Yes, the vB5 Metro version will be responsive – both for desktop and mobile versions.

the subject image does not appear in the forum, see the link.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue?

Hi, i have a problem with CMS i have followed instruction for cms: go to the Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles section again. But this time browse for Metro-Blog.xml (for Blog) or Metro- CMS.xml (for vB CMS). Then in the “Merge Into Style” section choose the style “Metro”, then click “Import”.

Blog and forum is perfect but CMS style don’t work and style is vbulletin default style…

how i can fix it?

Can I get the specific css I need to add a custom navtab icon to a new navtab? Let’s say the ID of the navtab is XYZ. if I use
{ css here
then it displays over the existing icon which is ugly and it disappears when you mouse over it. I am assuming there is a better way.

Hmm… If you use your new tab unique ID, it should replace the default icon. Could I see your forum? You can send me a link via our profile page.

Thank you, email sent.

FYI- for anyone else, the code in my case was-
#tab_ndg3_873 > a {
    background-image: url("images/misc/microphone-icon-bk.png") !important;
    background-position: center center !important;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;

Great support!

I love this templates. Can i use it with Vbulletin 5.0.5 ?

Thank you.

Sorry, but it’s not compatible with vB5. But we are going to release a vB5 Metro version in a month!

Ok i wait. Thank you :)

Well I love that Skin, But I am looking for Invision Power Board. I really want this theme in IPB version.

Unfortunately, we don’t work with IPB. Sorry.

Hi, I would like to change the color on the right column block in the footer, in witch css do I find that ?

found it …

OK! But feel free to contact us, if you still have any questions!

I have purchased the Metro theme yesterday, How can I adjust the height of the global header?

Do you mean the block with tabs of the full height – with the top navbar?

- How i can install colors changing on the side?

And thank you for this wonderful metro theme

It’s not a plugin, it’s just a piece of raw code. But if you want it, just contact us via our profile page – I’ll send you the code.

I am waiting for your email

yes please i want it i well contact you now Thank you

I Have this Idea of making the theme a different color for each navbar section, any idéa how I can acomplish that ?

for example, one for forum, one for blogs, home for gallery …

You can achieve it by editing css. The point is that each tab has an unique ID, so you can easily set original color to each tab.

I know , but I have no Idea how, do you think you can point me in the right direction, where to start ?

Each tab has a unique ID. For example CMS tab default id is ‘vbtab_cms’. So you have to add a css-rule like this -

#vbtab_cms {
   background-color: YOUR_COLOR;

Add the rule to the end of the ‘additional.css’ template. And sure you have to add this rule for each tab ID, you want to change background color.

I have a problem with this theme using the CMS functionality. I noted that this problem is known to Vbulletin, and I followed the recommendations in this post. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum/vbulletin-4/vbulletin-4-questions-problems-and-troubleshooting/352464-cms-style-problem-still

However, the mobile theme that is set up, and not requested. Impossible to go back. I can not change the theme of the party CMS

At the bottom of the mobile theme you can find a ‘Full Site’ link. Just press it and you’ll get the default desktop theme. :)

I have 2 questions:

1. All PNG images don’t display at all in Internet explorer after install (they work on your demo server). How to fix this?

2. How do I install my language?

Actually it’s not only IE, no browser shows the theme images. Please see the screenshot here: http://grab.by/sr3u

Forget my request, apologies….my image upload didn’t work, as simple as that….. so there was no problem other than that.

OK! But feel free to contact us if you still have any questions :)

Hi, great theme! Any update on when you expect the vb5 version to be released?

I hope it will be released by the end of December.

Thanks, good luck!

Hi, Can I change the colour of red (red theme) to another red colour? is it set in the css once or numerous times? thanks.

Thank you for your interest to our theme.

The colour codes are stored inside Style Variables (AdminCP – Styles & Templates – Style Manager – YOUR_STYLE – Style Variable Editor), and in one css-template (additional.css).

this bad not work http://aou.net only work style and this left side bottom click for change color not avilable my v 4.2.2

what i can do

this file can`t import plugin.xml this tell me old version ?

How did you try to install? The plugin system doesn’t depend on vBulletin subversion.

Do you install in here? – AdminCP – Plugins & Products – Manage Products – [Add/Import Product]

How do you make forum block like “Buy «Metro Theme» on themeforest”?

It’s just a piece of raw html-code pasted into the sidebar. But there’s a good ad manager inside vBulletin, you can use it for your banners!

I know, it’s on Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Blocks Manager. But how can you make it borderless? Also without the title… Custom template for that particular block?

It’s pasted directly inside ‘forumhome’ template. You can find “sidebar_container” there and add there your image. But sure it’s not very convenient.
