Beautiful work! I’m a pretty avid purchaser of administration themes, many are too heavy with JS and content and really hard to work with, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Great template.

Hi KevinCon,

We are glad to hear that and really appreciate your feedback :)

Thanks for using Metronic!

Great theme. Quick question – how do I dynamically create notifications? Without having them defined in app.js – I want to be able to submit a form then show a flask message (Flask/Python)

Hi abstractventures,

For the dynamic alerts/notifications, you may check bootstrap documentation:

If you need further help, could you please send the details from the feedback form in our profile

Thanks for using Metronic :)

Nice work but i’d like to know if it’s possible to auto-reload a pane and when your porlets will work.

Hi Ipasseb,

Could you please clarify your question and may i know which panel are referring?

Thanks for the feedback.

First :

In panel title buttons there is a reload button but if we want to reload the content of the panel we must click on it, but I’d like to reload this content automically each second or 1/10s. Is it Possible ?

In grid example we can’t move blocs. When this option will be avaible ?

And a last question I forgot. Do you plan to convert your css files in LESS or SASS ?

Thanx for your answers

Hi lpasseb,

Thanks for your quick clarification.

1) The portlet content can be auto-reloaded from spesific source(E.g: via ajax post/get calls). This requires a little bit javascript coding. You may refer /assets/js/app.js handlePortletTools() function to implement the content auto-reload using javascript setInterval() method.

2) Draggable portlets will be available in coming new release very soon.

3) Yes sure, we have plans for css files in LESS. This should be out in future releases.

Some references:

I’d like to suggest a feature for a future release. Tree hierarchies. It’s fairly common in admin interfaces that you would want to manage folder structures, or even logical hierarchies from a database. Good example:

--->Child Account
------> Grandchild account
---> Child Acc#2

I’ve seen it in a few other themes, but no idea how to “metro-ize” it, you design types are awesome at making stuff look good :)

Hi abstractventures,

We have plans for tree based components. This will be part of future releases very soon.

Thanks for your suggestion :)

Hi! Congrats for your work! This theme is amazing, and the code is very well organized. It´s being a joy to work with it!

A question: in the future updates will the bootstrap version be updated? (to the 2.3 version).

A “typo bug”: At the UI Features (General, Tabs, Typography), the word features is misspelled in the breadcrumb – “Feauters”. (buttons page is ok).

Hi goiabo,

Thanks for your kind feedback and glad to hear that you liked our coding :)

Yes, we are considering to upgrade the bootstrap version to the 2.3 version in the future and thanks for the typo error report. We will correct it in the next release.

Thanks for using Metronic :)

Thank you for nice project. I have a problem. When i remove first row-fluid (Graphs), Feed and anothers java mini scrollbar not seen and crashed.

Hi kamilowen,

Could you please send us a link to your page using the feedback form( in our profile page ? We will assist you once we are able to check your code.

Thanks for using Metronic :)

Nice theme, no doubt. In the doc, you mention a “blank.html” (To create a new page, you can use blank.html which provides basic page layout which you can extend and modify further.), but it seems I can’t find it. Can you confirm its location, as the search did not find it either.

Thanks in advance

Hi olivierculot,

Sorry for the typo in the doc. We will correct it in the new release. For the blank template sample, please refer extra_blank.html

Thanks for using Metronic :)

What a fast reply :) Indeed, the file is there, I don’t mind about the typo error at all :) BTW, I had the same issue as kamilowen, hence I was looking for the blank file. It solved my issue, it might work for his as well!

Glad to help you olivierculot :)

This template looks amazing. But the javascript is terrible to work it. I am struggling big time figuring out what javascript goes where so i can remove all the stuff i dont need and make it work with my javascript based framework.

Great design, horrible code.

Ignore my last comment. The code is great, just written in a different way that i was yet not introduced to :P

Brilliantly how easy everything became when i understood the logic.

Hi Falecto,

We appreciate your honest feedback. In future releases we will improve the documentation with more info about our javascript framework.

Thanks for using Metronic :)

Impressive work! Planning to purchase the theme, but one problem: do you have any plan to make the sidebar hidden and show?

Thanks and good luck with the sales!

Hi Dominggus,

Yes, we are planning to add this feature in next release which is coming soon. Stay Tuned! :)

Thank you for your suggestion and interesting Metronic!

App works great as a webapp.

For others wishing to do so …

Ive added the code for Apple iOS to see it as a webapp ..
<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes" />
<meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" content="black" />
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" sizes="144x144" href="assets/ico/apple-touch-icon-144-precomposed.png">
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" sizes="114x114" href="assets/ico/apple-touch-icon-114-precomposed.png">
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" sizes="72x72" href="assets/ico/apple-touch-icon-72-precomposed.png">
<link rel="apple-touch-icon-precomposed" href="assets/ico/apple-touch-icon-precomposed.png">
<link rel="apple-touch-startup-image" href="assets/img/splash.png" />

Then, in order to not have the device by default open the links in new windows, add:

<script>(function(a,b,c){if(c in b&&b[c]){var d,e=a.location,f=/^(a|html)$/i;a.addEventListener("click",function(a){;while(!f.test(d.nodeName))d=d.parentNode;"href"in d&&(d.href.indexOf("http")||~d.href.indexOf(,e.href=d.href)},!1)}})(document,window.navigator,"standalone")</script>

just below your <head> tag.

keenthemes .. GREAT JOB with an outstanding design. Keep up the great work.

Many thanks for sharing this, dakotaskustoms :)

Great work! Any chance this may someday include icons from If not, how would you recommend I integrate them with this theme? Thanks!

Hi invisiongroup,

Yes, we will add this wonderful library in upcoming release for sure. :) Stay tuned!

Thanks for using Metronic!

Loving the theme so far. I’m converting it to SCSS for my project and the parser croaked on a few errors in style.css:

  • Missing property value on line 2016 (in .chat-form .input-cont input):

  • Extraneous back tick on line 3096:

    `filter:none !important;

What should the value be for line 2016? Thanks.

Hi jeffshantz,

Can you try to remove line 2016 (margin-top:) since this attribute is not used.

Please feel free to ask if you need further help.

Amazing template. Have a few questions. 1) How easy it is to change the grid from a 12 col to a 16 col? 2) Do you plans to add jqueryUI to this? I know it could be redundant, but there are somethings which work better in it like dialogs and effects.

Hi karanits,

Thanks for your feedback.

1) To change the grid from 12 to 16 columns, you will need to modify some variables in bootstrap less file(@gridColumns=16) and re-compile the bootstrap css files. Then all the pages need to be converted accordingly from 12 to 16 columns layout.

2) Yes, we do plan to integrate jquery UI components with metro look in future releases very soon.

hi, can we add our own custom database calls to certain pages? how do we get data into the elements?

Hi egs123,

For google analytics, the easier way to use google charts as described here:

We do have plans to add some samples for using google charts with google analytics in future releases. Stay tuned.

ok great – will purchase once google analytics is integrated. cheers

Sure, thanks for your interest in Metronic :)

Nice theme, I’ll probably get it when the next version is released :)

Are there buttons with tooltips?

Hi Cidolfus,

Yes, there are buttons with tooltips. You may check it in “UI Features/General” page under “Tooltips” portlet.

By the way, once you purchased Metronic, all future updates will be available for free.

Thanks for interest in Metronic.

Hello, beautiful theme, I’ll buy it, however, before, I wonder if they let go of blocks ( draggable. See if you hover over the top of each one he is in shape of a cross, indicating that it might drag, but it is not possible. Do you think doing this in some future version, or I as a programmer, I could do this easily?

Hi freelabrasil,

The draggable portlets will be added in the next release very soon. If you buy Metronic now, you can download all updates for free in the future.

Thanks for your interest in Metronic :)

OK, yes I will buy. It has rough estimate of the next version?

We will do our best to release it by coming Tuesday.

Great work guys. I have question regarding the Custom Dropdown Multiple Select component. I’ve tried using it with the form wizard but it doesn’t work flawlessly since the dropdown content gets covered or block by the navigation button which integrated within the wizard. The nav buttons that contains the “continue”, “back”, “submit” buttons. Do you guys have any fix for this? Thanks

Hi killswitch808,

To fix the issue, just add following css code in /assets/css/style.css under form wizard section:

.form-wizard .tab-pane .chzn-container {
  position: absolute !important;

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will include this fix in the next release as well.

Nice! Thanks guys

You are welcome killswitch808!

Before of all: GREAT JOB!

I founded a mistake in the charts page. There is a horizontal scrollbar in

... and it appers too in the dashboard when you try to change a span6 to span12 in the chart portlet. Can you help me?

Another thing: for 5 stars vote… the responsive menu would be a float menu over the content on the left/right position ;-)

Thank you a lot for your time!

Hi myfocussys,

Many thanks for your feedback.

Yes, we have plans to improve the responsive menu in future releases. Stay tuned ;)

Could you please clarify the issue you countered in the charts page ? What browser version used ? and what is your screen resolution ? If possible, could you please provide some screenshots as well ?

Hi my friends!

If you like, I can send you a screenshots if you give me an email address (Can I make it here :O?)

I use Chrome and IE 9 in two PCs (1680×1050 and 1920×1200).

The mistake appears when you open a page with charts (one o some of them). If you put a chart inside a span12 portlet, it make a horizontal scrollbar in the navigator (it doesn’t appear if the chart is inside of span6 portlet)

Sorry for my english. If you see a picture you can see it in 3 seconds in this url:

Thanks you a lot! And again: GOOD JOB!

P.D. Where can I suscribe for the update of this theme?

Hi myfocussys,

Thanks for the details. We are working on fixing the issue and will update you here very soon. In the main time, could you please send the screenshots to ?

You can follow us on twitter for the updates:

Thanks for your feedbacks. We deeply appreciate your cooperation myfocussys :)

Great work. Something I will definitely consider purchasing. One thing that I would really like to see is a messaging template added, like an inbox. I see the drop down for messages, but it doesn’t go anywhere. I would really like to see a nice designed template for that and it would be ideal for me to use.

Hi jeffmace,

Yes, we will add the inbox page in future releases. We are working on adding more template pages(inbox, user profile, faq, invoice…).

By the way, once you purchased Metronic, all future updates will be available for free.

Thanks for your interest in Metronic :)

Thanks, just purchased. Hopefully you can get the update to us fairly quick. I appreciate your work. Nice job!

Yes, we do our best for that. Thanks jeffmace.
