Hi ThemeVan, I appreciate the fast reply and the update. I just updated the theme and cleared the cashes but unfortunately that still doesn’t fix the issue with your theme. The theme is still not responsive when you visualize it on a mobile device.

There’s still that huge gap at the right of the screen and the logo/menu are scaled papering on top of the slider.

I would truly appreciate it if this could be fixed as soon as possible.

No, on the right, the arrow in the widget when you scroll down with the cart, the map, the login .. This arrow that normaly bring back to the top of the page.

Thanks for taking the suggestion – it’s dearly appreciated. The theme I tried to install is downloaded from the link provided here.I believe it is the correct zip file.

In your themeforest download page, if you click the download button, there is a drop down list includes “All Files….” and ‘WordPress installation file’, right? Which one you have selected?

If you selected “All Files…” you have to unzip this file before you upload it, because it includes miao_theme_1.06.1.zip, documentation and so on, you should upload miao_theme_1.06.1.zip

1. Please add the following custom CSS into Appearance > Theme options > Custom Code > Custom CSS

.shrinked #primary_menu ul li.logo a {
    top: -30px;
    width: 150px;
    height: 150px;
    background-size: 60% auto;
}

2. Copy the revolution slider shortcode to “Appearance > Theme options > General settings > Homepage Slider Shortcode” as “[rev_slider shop]”, replace ‘shop’ to your slider alias.

3. I tested the go back button and the category link, it seems no problem, I’m not sure what I was missing. If possible, you can let me know the detailed steps to reproduce the issue.

The back button is fixed.

There was a code which was already added as per your suggestion for the logo. It synchronised the line of the logo, but scrolling down would cut a bit of the head and wouldn’t display it completely.

So, I guess the new code you provided wouldn’t work parallelly to the old one.

I have removed the old logo.

In the Theme Options, I have uploaded both custom logo and retina logo in their required sizes.

1. If you want to replace the default form to contact form 7 in Contact page, please edit the contact page, copy the shortcode to “Contact Form 7 Shortcode” field, you can find it in “Contact form setting” section.

2. I’m not quite understand, you can manually edit the post slug for the post URL, and make sure your server it support rewrite module. If my understanding is incorrect, please post the question post URL here.

So we got the slider in and working however, the logo and menu don’t look like what the Demo showed before I bought this. Can you help Envato and I with this?

Please check it now. For center the LOGO, just go to Appearance > Theme options > Customize Styles page, you can able center logo option and adjust the logo position there.

Now you just need to add some widgets which you want in “Appearance > Widgets”.

1. Now, you have to go to “Appearance > Widgets”, manually add the same widgets to “Post sidebar widget area”. The second way is modify _post_with_sidebar.php file, if you use the default change <?php get_sidebar(‘post’);?> to <?php get_sidebar(‘home_sidebar’);?> or <?php get_sidebar(‘archive’);?> The recommended way is create child theme and copy this file to the child theme folder.

2. You have to create a slider and copy the slider shortcode first through Revolution Slider, then go to “Posts > Categories”, edit the category, you will see “Slider Shortcode” field, just copy the slider shortcode into this field, and you can also set the blog template in this page.

3. You can use the preset home page template directly, if you want to insert the category posts into your custom page, simply speaking, just edit the page, switch the editor mode to page builder, click “add widget”, you will see “(miao) categories loop”, just add it to page, set the category slugs which you want to display.

4. Please install “Recent Tweets Widget” plugin, then go to “Appearance > Widgets”, add the ”* Recent Tweets” widget to the bottom widget area or the other area, you have to get those API informations first from https://apps.twitter.com/

5. The standard LOGO size is 150×150px and 300×300px for the retina screen, if you go to “Appearance > Theme options > General settings”, you will see the size information.

6. Go to “Appearance > Menus”, create a new menu, you can name it as “Languages”, then add the language menu item through link type, then select “Language List” for the theme locations option.

7. Unfortunately, there’s no ready option to add the social media button, unless you edit the tpl/tpl-loop.php file, add it by yourself.

8. Currently there’s no social profile displays in the author box, but I will do that in the later version, if you can do it by yourself, just edit tpl/tpl-post-body.php, add your custom code there.

I really appreciate the incredible support on this theme. How do I attach screenshots here? Maybe try to open http://thetravelreader.com now. The logo popped out looks really uncomfortable.

A few more things:

This is the error on the Homepage after putting the slider code in the themevan theme options. revolution slider Error: Slider with alias “Featured” not found. Maybe you mean: ‘Featured’ A fix for that?

To get the “latest slider on homepage”, I created a “Home” page (which was earlier a menu) and used the “Home Layout 1”. The slider works well but other than that, only one of my posts is displayed. I want to have multiple posts there.

I still can’t open your website now. You can upload the screenshot to dropbox, and paste the share link here.

For the slider issue, because there’s no ‘featured’ slider created, you can create a new revolution slider and set the slider slug to “Featured”. Or just paste your own slider shortcode into the home page (when you edit the home page, you will know where you can replace the slider shortcode, below the editor).

I think you have to manually create the new slider for each post in Revolution Slider.

It’s hard to check your issues, because I can’t visit your website. Is there any other way to access to your website?
