For Vimeo in the Hero area, is there a way to remove the initial pause button which appears on load and then disappears?

However, the initial pause button that appears upon loading in the Vimeo player’s Hero area is a built-in feature of the Vimeo player itself, and not something that can be adjusted directly within the MIES theme.

Hello there, I am not 100% sure, but within last update something has happened with order of layers. When the footer is visible, opening the menu displays its content only partially, the footer just covers bottom part of it. It is also active in demo version. Could you please check and solve that. Hmm, I’ve just checked this and it seems there’s a but. You have the option to add widgets on the post sidebar, but currently, the sidebar is not displayed. I need to add this to our Issues Tracker List so my dev teammates will investigate it further.

Yes. With just a piece of custom CSS, you can do that. I will help you if needed.

The theme itself doesn’t have that option, but I guess you can use alternatives like Related posts from Jetpack, for example.

Please note that the Mies theme doesn’t come with Gutenberg. It uses the Classic Editor. However, I have a feeling that I don’t totally understand what you want to achieve. Maybe you can give me a few more details about this one?

Is it possible to make it so the images in the slideshow aren’t skewed at different resolutions? Currently if you expand the width of the browser on hi-res monitors it will stretch the image out and if you make the browser narrow it makes the image tall and narrow instead of filling the space proportionally.Thanks.

Hello, I ‘ve noticed a couple of issues since the last Wordpress update:
First, i am getting a redirect error when trying to log into the dashboard. As a troubleshooting solution, when deactivating all plug-ins i can log in successfully. The only installed plug-ins are the themes built in plug-ins. Secondly, content doesn t load correctly in Safari browsers. I’ve noticed this particularly with Safari 13.0.3. but also with newer versions. Are you going to release an update to ensure compatibility with WP 5.6 Thanks in advance!

We are aware of this bug. It came out after upgrading to the latest WordPress 5.6 version.
We’ll fix it for the next theme update, but if you can’t wait, you can try downgrading to a previous WordPress version. You can do that using a plugin like this one.

Hello, I am trying to update some stuff on a client website that uses this theme. First off I tried to update the theme but it failed. I went into the theme options > utilities but I can’t find a way to get the secret api mentioned there on envato to be able to update within wordpress. So how do I do that? And another api issue I have is where do I add my Google maps api key in the Wordpress theme? As the map is no longer showing on the contact page
