When you unzip the file that you downloaded from Themeforest, and unzip it you’ll see a file in the extracted folder called “mission-funding-and-commerce-for-churches.zip”.
That is the file that you can install, or simply unzip if you want to poke around the code.
More on the layout of the Croma Themes theme folders here it’s one of my other themes but the framework and way in which it’s working is exactly the same.

The dummy content is included, and also the video’s on importing and updating.
Most of the images are copyrighted, but if you want to use some of them I can get you to them fast if you make contact.

Hi. This is a really great theme! I have two questions:
1. Am I able to change the wooden background and leather-stitch heading (if I wished)?
2. I run a residential centre that puts on church-related courses. The Calendar looks ideal to showcase the courses; how would someone then book online via the site?

The background can easily be changed through the background manager, the top might need a little html and css.
it will be easy to set up a course with the e-commerce and they can then book and pay online. You only need to add a link from the course to the shop page.

If you’re talking about known frameworks no, the frameworks are quite basic and we’re doing stuff that’s a little more advanced here so the framework is based on the same code that i use in my restaurant themes.
The framework adds enough flavour to the theme that i decided not to add a page builder.
Last question, AJ: is the event calendar filterable? Your advice re the woo commerce was much appreciated. Baie dankie, maat.
The calendar is not filterable.
can you tell me what happens when a person adds his email to the newsletter? does he receive the latest blog posts by mail automatically?
The theme sends a email your way informing you of subscribers.
If you want to use a email service mailchimp would be a good starting place.
Hi, do I need to install woo commerce separately to get the funding and e-commerce function probably? Cause it doesnt seem like integrate in the demo package.

you’ll see in the demo package there’s 3 demo files. One for the theme, one for woo-commerce and one for ignitiondeck.
if you install the theme you can add the main demo file.
When you install the woo-commerce addon you can then import the mission-woocommerce content and when you’ve bought and installed the ignitiondeck plugin you can import the mission-ignitiondeck demo file.
The reason for this is that when you install the demo’s of the plugins without the plugins being activated you see all kinds of dragons creeping through the woodwork.
I am working on a child theme but the child theme is not responding to the changes of its new CSS. I know you have the css inside public->styles. I use @import url(”../Mission/public/styles/site.css”); How can I make this happen?

In the inner pages, it asks to set header with size 960×250px but shows only 960×150px
for example on page : http://drive.cro.ma/mission/?page_id=1408
image is : http://drive.cro.ma/mission/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/cropped-deffer.jpg but shows only part of it
any way in which this can be changed to show full image?
in the folder public/framework/images you will find the following on ine 186 almost at the bottom of the page:

just change the 150.

The event items can not be filtered.
It’s easy to add a event countdown, the question is where. The theme is quite full.

Where can I find create_upcomming_events($evarr, $events) function? Upcommingevents.php uses it and I’d like to make some changes to it. I’d like to have the list of events in a slider for users to click < > to display events one at a time.

yeh your probably right. would look to crowded. you know what clients are like, always looking for something they cant have haha.
however i do have another request. is there a possibility to add a count down to the upcoming event. so in the box that says upcoming event it shows the date and right under the date, 6 days, 4 hours, 23 minutes etc counting down in real time. is this a possibility to add in or should i look for an external plugin for this? client really wants it so have to find a solution to this somehow. and client loves the theme by the way.

maybe we could add the menu to the footer. horizontal menu just under designed by croma? i know i can put a menu in the footer itself but i would like to add other things there. do you think this might be a possibility

This is a great theme, but my use for it is not related to a church, so a few questions:
1. Is it possible to easily change the name of “Sermons” to something else?
2. I see you use the Ignition Deck plugin. Is it used for all of the fundraising areas on the demo, or is a funding area included (widget or short code) that can be connected to PayPal?
3. Are multiple calendars possible?
If you change the “sermons before starting to add content it could be quite fast.
We used the ignition-deck plugin for all the funding, because we felt that out of all the options we tried this was the one that delivered the goods with regards to ease of use and management of donations.
Multiple calendars is not something that we added.
