I’m really annoyed by the system of ur theme. I finished my website and wanted to transfer the files to another hosting, and the website went broken. Because some plugins weren’t updated. Now I re-installed the theme & got the same problem. If I want to make a ticket I need to renew my support for 60 dollars. Please fix the plugins and help me because I need to move on ASP, it’s for a client.

You have used this text more often in your comments. I don’t expect you guys to update the theme anymore. last update was December 2021. Therefore, the php source of the theme is outdated.
Too bad you are not paying attention to this, because the design of the theme appealed to me.

My hosting company will change the PHP version to 8.1 as of September. I’ve already tried 8.1, but the Mixtape theme doesn’t work under this version (at least not at my website). Wordpress version: 6.1.3 Current PHP version: 7.4 When can I download a newer version of the Mixtape theme (is now 2.1)? (If this solves my problems.) Or are the plugins the problem? WPBakery 6.7.0 for instance.

After a clean installation everything worked again. PHP 8.1 and Wordpress 6.3.1. WordPress was probably corrupted. Thank you very much for your help via email.

I noticed the Events List widget opens the single events in a new window when you click them. How can the single event page be opened in the same window? It makes sense for the ticket link to open in a new window, but not the single events. Thanks.

Hello, I purchased this theme, but it appears to be non-working. The demo import is frozen on 0% and two of the plugins that come with the theme are outdated and cannot be updated. Can someone help? I submitted a couple of support tickets but I got no response. Thanks.

Usually demo import issues are related to weak resources and you can see our recommendations regarding those in this article – Recommended PHP Versions And Resources And How To Set Them.
Also, if you are perhaps using some cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that the cache plugin stays deactivated during demo import and while the site is still in the development stage.
On the off chance that you’ve waited for a while and the demo import didn’t finish properly, you can try importing via XML import.
You should know that in case you need latest version of any bundled plugin you can submit a ticket at our Help Center or contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.

We haven’t tested the theme with PHP 8.1 yet, however, compatibility with PHP 8.0 was added in the updates. Please see change log.

Hi there, lovely modern theme, really love it! Regarding the ticket system:
- Is the an in-built payment system compatible (for tickets) directly integrated within theme, and compatible with belgian payment systems such as Bancontact/Visa/Mastercard/Paypal? How does it work? I’m aiming to understand the user’s buying journey.
- Is the theme compatible with eventbrite plugin – A platform that manages ticket booking? This is an alternative ticket system, that would allow us to feature several our of Theatre show events.

The Events are a custom post type by the theme and you can find more info in the documentation in this link. In the event single options there is a “Buy Tickets Link” option where you can add a link to an external ticket selling service, or you can add tickets as WooCommerce products and add links to these WooCommerce products (please see screenshot).

We are considering your theme and had a couple of questions.
- In the album page is it possible to add a slideshow of images instead of a single image? We assume not but we’d like to clarify just in case!
- Is there a kind of slideshow element available in general? We checked the demo but didn’t find anything except for a header slider which might be too taxing to use for simple images.
- In the details page we saw that regarding audio mp3 format is supported, with internal/external links. Is there no support for youtube/soundcloud or other external links like that, only mp3 files hosted in another server?

1. Such an option, unfortunately, does not exist within the theme. You can search for a 3rd party plugin for this. Please note that we have not tested every available plugin and cannot guarantee compatibility with all 3rd party plugins available.
2. You will get Slider Revolution plugin as bundled plugin and you can achive what you want with that plugin. Also, you can use some Image Gallery shortcode and set the Gallery Type to slider.
3. You can play audio and video file formats like in any WordPress theme but live streaming isn’t available in Mixtape theme, and in order to achieve this you will need to search for some 3rd party plugins.

Hi, is it possible to not use the mobile header (qodef-mobile-header) but to use the qodef-page-header instead for smaller screens (mobile)?

This is possible to achieve with custom css, however, please note that due to limited space on mobile, this header will be displayed like in the screenshot, so we do recommend leaving mobile header.

I understand, but I would like to use the vertical menu navigation also on mobile as it seems to fit (when the menu width is adjusted). This is obvious on parallax-showcase, where the right hamburger does not need to be replaced with left hamburger on mobile, it does not makes sense. The vertical menu suits everywhere.
Can you please provide the custom css, because when I put it into General > Custom CSS, it is overriden by the @media rule ? Thank you.
