this is an HTML Template and the main stylesheet will be found in the css folder

What do I need to do? Whats that for a help, at the moment I paid for nothing. I get the error if I want to install it.

if you didn’t get the file after paying then contact Themeforest but if you got the file but couldn’t upload to the server because of style.css missing then I would say the main stylesheet is in the css folder and after unzipping the MOURI folder and doing the required changes you want, upload it to your server. make sure all files are properly uploaded to your server then it should work fine.

One more thing about calling the stylesheet is

if the stylesheet is in the css folder then,

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”css/style.css”>

if the stylesheet is outside the css folder then,

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”style.css”>

to avoid any misunderstandings, here are the following problems, which occurred chronologically:

1. The “missing” .css file. Eventhough the css file is within the folder “Mouri”, wordpress was not able to extract it. 2. We then tried to upload it manually via the ftp server, which also didn’t work properly. The main error response was: no index.php file. 3. We checked again and realised that first of all, the zip folder contains two folders, called: documentation AND mouri. Both of them contain identical files. Which folder should we primarily use for uploading the template? 3. We then also realised that there is no index.php file but index.html file in both folders. We transformed the html index file into php and wordpress accepted the upload. However, the template is empty. How can this be? Is there something wrong with the index file or maybe even the css file?

To Edit that you have to open js folder where you will find main.js file. open it and in line number 15 you will see these words and you can edit them there. write it inside the inverted comma. do not remove the inverted comma otherwise, it won’t work.

have you gone through the documentation file? in that file whole instructions are given. upload the file through FileZilla in your web server. style.css are included in there otherwise if that was missing the live preview won’t work. have you checked whether you accidentally deleted the CSS file?

Yes, i have read the documents. Am i able to upload the files via file manager through my cpanel hosting account instead? Because i did that. And no i did not delete the CSS file. Your CCS might be too deep within the folders for wordpress to recognise or find it.

main CSS files I mean the style.css is in the CSS folder. have you checked it there?
