I want to upgrade to the latest version of your theme, version 1.6. Currently, I’m still on version 1.31. I can’t find any information on this site which files have been changed compared to the version I’m currently on. I need to know, as an automatic upgrade will not work for me. I have made quite some changes in the source files (www.backonthebloq.com). I’m hoping you’ll be able to help me with a smooth transition to the latest version.
Your big challenge is that the music player changed in version 1.4 with the update of the browsers to the html5 audio spec. That was quite a integrated update.
The other updates can easily be fixed, but there’s no easy way to update the music.
Thanks for your reply, AJ! Do you have any instructions somewhere on the easiest way to update the theme? On the admin area I don’t see an update function. So it looks like I’ll have to upload the new theme on my server. I don’t see how I can do this, while keeping all current settings and changes I made in the source files.
As for the music player, I assume there will be clear instructions on how to enable it.
Look forward to your help in this.
More details on updating here. There’s no action needed to enable the music player.
Once you update all will be up to date.
I really enjoy this theme! I have a quick question:
Is there a way to modify the size and/or number of columns on the main Index page? I would like to expand the column for my calendar, as many of the entries get cut off. I would like to experiment with the column widths, or perhaps use only two columns instead of three....
Thanks for making contact.
It will be possible to change the layout but will need a recode of the page. Most of the widgets was coded for that width and will need ot be recoded.
Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to this topic – but is the recoding relatively simple? Would it be possible to get instructions? Most of my calendar entries have cut-off titles and I’d really like to expand the center column of the index page to accommodate longer titles.
I only use text widgets on the right and left with HTML so I shouldn’t need to recode any widgets (unless the calendar widget would need resizing as well). You can view my site here: http://www.ianeric.com
Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
This have not been done becore, so there’s not a set of direcitons that I ca noffer you.
If you make contaxct I can take a look ath where I can assist you, but do not promisa that we’ll get something resolved for you.

My client will be selling their own created music mp3s with your theme. Which license do I need? They only have 5 songs for $1 each.
If you r customer are planning to only have this one website that they are planning to use, then they only need a personal licence.
On my site http://carvelli.com/, twitter widget is not working.
It showing old tweets only not the latest one. Please tell where is the problem?
If you make contact to my personal assistance line we provide assistance on this. You can contact me through my profile page here (bottom right) or my support page here
I have exactly the same problem that ianeric told you some days ago. Calendar entries get cut off and I would like to use two columns for calendar. It would be possible that you add this option in the next update? I would be great!
nice theme..please tell me how to change Proudly “Designed by Netstudio.”
Thanks for making contact. More on editing the footer here
Can you tell me why this recent image is showing up randomly over my album artwork? Here’s the link to my site:
If you look at all the album cover artwork, they are all changed to the thumnail pic of a music video I just posted. Can you help me fix this?
I’m seeing a error in a analytics plugin.
What just happened after updating theme!!!
solved. But after an update the theme changed to template (or designed by) ‘SiteGround’... no idea how this happened.
Wow Crazy stuff.
Glad all got sorted.
Love. love, love this theme. Our ONLY hesitation is that it’s not responsive.
Do you have any plans, and if so when, of making it mobile-friendly?
Thanks for touching base on the music theme.
We are planning to make the theme responsive, but do not have a definate date as yet.
hi there, ive just puchased your theme, nice work allthough i really hope there is gonne be responsive version. woud be great.
just have a small question regarding the footer. It is set to use the album slider but is there a way that area for a commen footer area. normally its a widgetized footer but is there a way to use it as a footer instead of the slider?
Hope you understand what i mean.
The footer banner area can be converted to take widgets.
Your big challenge is the fact that none of the widgets is styled for a dark background and it will need all of the widgets to be restyled individually.
Hi thx for the reply
1 more thing. how do i remove the am and pm?
The time format can be set in settings-general of the theme.
I had the same issue as apalsenberg. When updating the theme through wordpress a completely different theme, by SiteGround, was installed. The theme itself was named Music… I have most of it back to normal, but albums and gallerys are no longer showing up (‘page not found’).
The theme is not available through WordPress but the Envato updater.
can you tell us when this theme will be responsive?
We do not have a date as yet.
A few issues,
Thumbnails of artwork is not appearing in player.
I couldn’t find the solution in the tutorial.
Thanks for making ocntact.
I cna take a look at the artwork not appearing and assist with the galleries.
Going to purchase as soon as it’s responsive.. love it, but never going to buy a non-responsive theme again, more than 50% of my traffic is browsing via mobile & tabs.. but love, love, love the design of this and it’s perfect for my podcast show
+1 to boosting your motivation to provide a responsive version soon
Thanks for the feedaback. Will keep this in mind.
Looking for a way to IMPORT an rss or xml feed INTO the calendars so I only have to type once.
For example, I use ArtistData, which has an csv export option. I’d like to be able to import that csv into this theme.
There is unfortunately not a way to import rss feeds.
This comment is for deleting. Sorry.
Can I update to WordPress 4.0 without problems ? I’m using Music ver.1.5 Anyone ?
You cna update provided you update the music theme also to the latest version.
I don’t need (for now) ver 1.6 of Music Theme, I am asking can I update my WordPress to 4.0 with Music theme ver 1.5 ?
Then the answer is no.
It will only work if you update the theme to the latest version.
Ive been trying to get support for sometime now the navigation on my website is broken need help figuring it out. I emailed my username and password already.

thanks for the quick fix looks awesome keep up the good work!
I’m running Music Theme 1.6 on Wordpress 4.0 but I have a problem with the galleries popups. It does not display the image I’ve added in gallery.
Here is my dev site: http://blaze.ibrahimyves.fr/
As you will notice in the front page, when I click on the gallery widget, the page becomes gray and the loader does not stop to load.
How can I fix it ?
I do not recognize the site. This is definitely not the music theme.
