Hi -

I’m trying to archive a custom post type taxonomy, but it seems to spit out Nothing Found

instead of the taxonomy. Do i have to add rewrite rules to the taxonomy (like its done in custom-post-types.php) for the correct taxonomy archive to render?

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve. Do you want to add a new taxonomy for the portfolio post type?

meant to add this to above comment; this is what is spit out; seems to default to portfolio-taxonomy instead.

Nothing Found

Hi, I bought this template but I’m having some problems…

I want to put my home page http://madeiraflowers.net like you have at this page http://e404themes.com/natural/home/wide-header-slider/ But the images and the titles don’t appear in that page and I can’t put organized in 3 columns like you have.

The other problem is that I have been trying to do a portefolio page, but it doesn’t work at all…

At last, I have a contact page and it’s working, but I would like to put like you have in this page http://e404themes.com/natural/contact-option-2/ without the map, but with the picture and come informations but i don’t seen any shortcode for that..

Can you please help me?

I can see you already have a wide header slider on your home page. If you want to display titles just check the ‘Show titles’ checkbox in the ‘Header Options’ box (you can find more details in the theme documentation in the ‘Custom Headers’ section).

What do you mean by tellying that a portfolio doesn’t work at all? The theme documentation didn’t help?

You can re-create any of our demo pages using sample content files – you can find them in the ‘sample content/pages’ folder (the code of the mentioned page is in the ‘contact_2.txt’ file).

The problem with the contact is solved, thank you.

In my home page the problem is with this: [recent_posts_images_scrollable title=”Publicações recentes” posts=”4” pagination=”true”] This one is there and works but the images don’t appear.

This shortcode: [recent_comments number=”3” title=”Blog comments”] is there but the title blog comments don’t appear…

[popular_posts_images number=”5” title=”As mais vistas” more_text=”Ver mais” categories=”Outras Plantas”] In this one the title doesn’t appear and the images also don’t appear…

I removed because I have been trying with the code from the home_page_wide_header_slider.txt Now the titles appears, but the images don’t…

Please send me an e-mail with your WP admin panel login and password – I can help you faster when I can see your the code of your pages.

Thank you so much for your help, this is the first time I use wordpress and it has been dificult to me. :)

I try to see the examples from portfolio at http://e404themes.com/naturalshortcodes/other/ but it says that the page doesn’t exist

I’ve been trying to find a way to do something but haven’t had much luck yet. I have a blog category page set up on my navigation bar to show current blog posts on one page. I’d like to remove the sidebar from this category page but still have the sidebar visible when someone goes into a blog post. Since there’s no category.php, how and where could I make this adjustment?

There are no images between posts. Did you remove them?

If you want to add anything between posts just add it above this line:
<?php endwhile; ?>

Thanks…yeah you don’t see any images because I haven’t been able to get them to show up. None of the code that I’ve found so far seems to be working. What would be the proper way to insert a centered image between the posts?

For example:
<div class="center"><img src="http://your-image-url-here" /></div>

Hello -

How do I include page content in the search results? It only pulls stuff from the blog. thanks.

Pages are included in the search results by default, but if a page contains only blog posts (meaning it doesn’t contain any text), only these posts will be included in the search results (and this is not related to the theme).

my bad – i modified the search query to include custom post types, but neglected to include ‘page’ in the array.

I have just one last thing that I want to do change the image behind the post date to a custom image. Not sure were to make that change.

I suppose you mean the circle behind the post date. It’s not an image, however you can set a background for this element, for example like this:
.meta-date { background-image: url("http://your-image-url-here"); }

Thank you!

I’ve add the scrollable gallery to my homepage and I’m playing it automatically, linear and with scroll.

When all the 9 items have been seen, the gallery scrolls back to the first item. I want to make it infinite, so that it doesn’t scroll back to the first item. The first item has to be shown after the last item. Like a carrousel.. I hope you can understand what I mean ;)

Thanks in advance!!

Unfortunately this feature is not configurable through a parameter. However you can make a simple change in the shortcode code. Edit the ‘inc/shortcodes.php’ file, find the following line:
circular: false,';
and replace it with:
circular: true,';
Of course you still need to use the ‘infinite=”true”’ param.

It works, thanks!!

This seems like such a stupid question because I feel like I should have been able to fix this! I need to increase the font size on the post titles. It looks like the h2 values are what are used for post titles but no matter what I do with changing the h2 font size in the CSS it doesn’t change! I changed all the headline font sizes in case I was wrong but still, nothing changed. I looked in the index.php and didn’t see anything and in the CSS there aren’t any post title values. So I’m stumped. How and where do I change the size of the font for post titles?

To change the font size for post titles add the following code to the Custom CSS box (Theme Options -> Styling Options):
.post-meta h2 a { font-size: 30px; line-height: 34px; }

Hi, after updating wordpress and theme to latest versions I seem to have lost images on slider and also at bottom on carousel – when right clicking on image place holder and view image in new window (as a test) I get ‘bad request’

http://outsidestructures.co.uk thanks for your help

This issue is caused by your server configuration. Probably security rules are blocking TimThumb (image scalling script). If you don’t know how to fix that please send me an e-mail with your FTP login details.

Thanks for the speedy reply – that did the trick! Thanks!

Hi ! I really love your Theme. I´m creating now the 2nd page with it but I have a question – this time Styling Options are not working in a right way! I enabled the theme customization and it is not working! it always shows the theme color variation and I can´t change any colour! Can you please help me?

Best regards Sabrina

Hi! I just fixed it ! I forgot to write the # sign before the colour code :/ thank you so much!

I’m using the scrollable gallery. At this moment, when you click on a image (in my case it’s a logo of a partner), the image opens in a window. I want to change this. I want to link the logo of the partners to a page on my website. Is this possible?

Hope you can help me! Thanks in advance. AZ

Yes, it’s possible – please take a look at the first example here (the second image links to a custom URL).

The sample code:
[scrollable title="Scrollable gallery"]
http://e404themes.com/natural/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/campanula_with_waterdrops1.jpg;Image title
http://e404themes.com/natural/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/nelumno_nucifera_open_flower1.jpg;Image title;http://e404themes.com

Thanks!! Also for your quick reply :)

How can I modify the featured image height?

Theme Options -> Blog Options -> Thumbnails Height

Thank you. I figured that was related to thumbnails in the widget area.

Hi, I’m having problems with the shortcode [image]. When I put an image uploaded on March 2013 into a page it works, but recently uploaded images I can’t do it. It’s a very strange problem. I tried with different images, but it only works with the old ones on the server… I even tried it with one of your sample images, but unsuccessfully. On my site the new images do not appear. The code is: [image size="medium" shadow="true" border="true"]http://jardimbotanico.up.pt/servicoeducativo/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/JB1.jpg[/image] [image size="medium" shadow="true" border="true"]http://e404themes.com/natural/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/chrysanthemum1.jpg[/image]

My web-page: http://jardimbotanico.up.pt/servicoeducativo/?page_id=3513

Hi, thanks for your help. The cache is now cleared. The folder permissions is 755. But, the problem is the same and now worse… The images are there, the uploads folder has the permission 777, but I can´t see the images on the webpage, just the hyperlinks are functioning… Please see this page: http://jardimbotanico.up.pt/servicoeducativo/?page_id=3359 or this: http://jardimbotanico.up.pt/servicoeducativo/?page_id=3513

Thanks very much. Best regards

Your ‘cache’ folder is still not writable. If you don’t know how to fix this please send me an e-mail with the FTP login details.

Problem solved. Cache permissions set to 777 and everything is ok now! Thank you so much for your help. Best regards.

How can I change the color of the different headers? h3 and h5 have to be another color. Hope you can help me!

Thanks in advance.

Use this CSS code:
h3 { color: #000; }
h5 { color: #aaa; }

I’ve tried that already, but it doesn’t work. It looks like the ‘Headers Text Color’ (in theme options) overwrites this CSS code..

So use the ‘important’ clause:
h3 { color: #000 !important; }
h5 { color: #aaa !important; }

Ah! I didn’t know that. Thanks!
