Hi, I am going to buy this theme soon but before I do, I’d like to ask you something:

-I believe I’ve read somewhere in the comments that it is not possible to use a small product image for the product page. This is fixed at 562 and is only changable through CSS. Do I understand this correctly? I am going to use very small images and would like to use the screen estate on the product pages more efficient.

-If coding is indeed needed, will it be as simple as changing some numbers in the stylesheet? I can do that.

Kudos for your great support by the way! Absolutely brilliant.

Hi there,

The standard width is 562px at it’s largest size. I can help with some custom css if you’d like to resize this though. It would only be a few lines to add to the custom css box within theme options.

Hope that helps!

- Ed

Before I buy the theme: How do I activate the slider and make it look exactly as on your demo page if nothing shows up after following the demo instructions? Often I find that loading demo sliders doesn’t work that well, nothing usually shows at all.

Kindly, CL

Hi there,

The demo slider requires the demo content to be imported, as the demo content includes the media files that are needed for the slides. Unfortunately the slide import file doesn’t include these images.

I need some help according the Breadcrumb. Recently I have this term “variable” in the Breadcrumb and I don’t know how to get rid of it or how to put it to be “Products” or whatever. Thank you.

Reference: http://suicycle.menschlabor.info/produkt/charge-hob/

Go to Settings > Breadcrumb NavXT and then you can choose the breadcrumb config for products.

Hi, Great theme :)

I have 2 questions:

1- How can i make the checkout out page to be in one page?

2- How can i change the lock to a shopping cart image?

Hi there,

1) Try adding the following custom css to the box within theme options:

.checkout .checkout-pane {
display: block!important;
#billing {
margin-bottom: 40px;
#billing .proceed {
display: none;

2) You can change the shopping_bag_icon.png and shopping_bag_icon@2x.png icon in /images folder.

Finally made the purchase. Couldn’t be happier.

Just a couple issues I found: 1. In the product detail page, can I disable the accordions entirely? (So that all details is displayed by default) Also, is it possible to put your “Lists” shortcode in the aforementioned description accordion section?

2. I have the same problem with RePeter1975 above with the breadcrumbs. My current breadcrumb goes like this: Home > Product > Simple > Product Name How can I make the “simple” into its category name instead?

3. I have a problem with how the image is produced in the thumbnails. It’s just so.. blurry. It looks great in the product detail page though. Any tips on how I can fix this? I disabled hardcrop like the one mentioned few pages back, but it only fixed several images. What’s more, disabling hard crop has made all the thumbnail sizes all irregular like. Do you recommend me to edit the image size before uploading or is there some kind of an ingenious fix you know that I didn’t?

Thanks. :D

Glad you’re happy!

1) Try adding the following to the custom css box within theme options:

#product-accordion .collapse {
height: auto;

The lists might not be possible in the current version if you’re using the page builder for product pages, but if you’re not then it should work fine.

2) Settings > Breadcrumb NavXT. You can set the structure here.

3) Enable hard crop, ensure you have the width set to atleast 540px, and then regenerate the thumbnails using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. This is required once you change the size.

Hope that helps.

- Ed

Great, all problem is fixed now. Got another one for you though, here it goes:

Can you help me so that I can apply a different background color on every page? Particularly the part between the header and the footer.

I can’t seem to find the setting that’ll let me do that. The most probable thing is that I missed it somehow. Can you let me know how I can do this?

Thanks for your great help.

There isn’t a setting for that, and it wouldn’t be easy either. The only way I can think to do it would be to manually add css for each page ID.

- Ed

What do you know, I just fixed problem number 3 :D What’s weird is that hard crop IS the fix itself

But with that I have another question: Do we have any control whatsoever in handling the “new” products? Since my site just opened and I don’t want every product to have the “new label”, I would like to disable it for most of my products. How can I do this?

Ok, so what you want to do is edit /woocommerce/content-product.php, line 62:

$newness         = 7;     // Newness in days

You can change that to be what you like.

- Ed

As per Moondane’s question on ‘NEW’ labelling etc…

Is there a way to control this? i.e set a time/day limit for how long the ‘NEW’ label displays? And can it be custom assigned to selected product?

Also, my NEW labels disappeared after a day (I think) and no longer show up when I upload new product. I played around turning plugins on and off but no dice….any clues?

Not sure what you’ve changed to get them to no longer show up. Would likely be a plugin unless you edited any code. The code that controls this is in /woocommerce/content-product.php, line 62:

$newness         = 7;     // Newness in days

You can change that to be what you like.

- Ed

Thanks, I’m no too sure how to use PHP though, I’ve found the directory that you are referring to on my desktop…do I just adjust the ‘7’ to whatever and then hit save? (the PHP just opens up in textedit) or do I need to re-upload the newly created PHP somewhere?

Yes, that’s correct. Just edit/save.

- Ed

Absolutely love this theme – fantastic functionality & properly enjoying working with it. Very impressed – many thanks.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Really glad you’re happy and impressed.

We’d really appreciate a rating on the item if you’re happy!

Great theme. Thanks!

Couple of small issues:

1. My hosting company does not allow the list icons to upload as thier naming carries funny symbols, such as add_b&w@2x”” 2. The tour section short code animation feature does not seem to work.

Thanks, Tanya.

Hi there,

1) If that’s true, then I’d really recommend switching hosts. @2x is the standard naming convention for retina images.

2) Can you provide a link to see this?

- Ed

Hi Ed. Agreed regarding the hosting. (Thanks for the schooling). Will pm you the link. Thanks, Tanya

Ok, will get back to you on 2) as soon as I can.

- Ed

How do I change the phone number on the wishlist page? “Call customer services on 0800 123 4567.” Also how do you edit the content of the “Shipping Information” and “FAQ” type pop ups also on the wishlist page?

Thanks much.

Theme Options > WooCommerce Options.

Thanks Ed. Can’t believe I missed that… long day. P.S – Any thoughts on the Firefox dropdown issue? :)

Replied to you on that! :)

A note for anyone having issues with uploading demo content

Last week I had to add the large file, and got errors so thought I would zip it and then had no problems. Been flat out but thought I should really come back and post in case it helps someone since so many of you have had trouble. I turned the xml file into a gzip archive (.gz) first to shrink the size and had no problems at all since with the upload.
  • Download 7zip (click for link) to do this if you don’t have it, then you can right click on the xml file you want to zip.
  • Make sure to select gzip or .gz extension in the Archive Format dropdown.
  • Hit OK (or is it Run?) and it will save your xml file wih a .gz extension
  • When you are ready to import the .gz file – make sure you tick the download media box

For those of you that want to avoid multiple menu items (from previous failed import attempts) and want to import the demo content fresh, you can use the handy “WordPress Database Reset” plugin (free) to strip it back to a basic fresh install state.

To get the demo content looking like it should, the following process should work:

  • Make necessary recommended settings PHP memory limit on server as per the documentation first – if installing into a sub-folder I recommend ensuring that your changes are recursive as hosting companies seem to differ in whether this is default.
  • Install & run the “WordPress Database Reset” plugin (if not your first try at importing the demo content) (Select All for clean slate)
  • Go to Appearance > Themes: select Theme (not child version)
  • Settings > Permalinks (I use Post)
  • Set up WooCommerce > Settings > Catalog Tab: images to same size as per the documentation
  • Set up Revolution Slider as per the documentation, including the text file.
  • Tools > Import: upload the .gz zip version of the .xml you wanted
  • Check the “Download and import file attachments” box
  • Cross your fingers. Wait & let it work its magic uninterrupted.
  • Appearance > Menus. Set Main Menu as the main menu for this theme.

If all goes well it then Voila! It should be same, same but different. Images, slider images, posts, pages & all. Good luck 8-)

PS: this seems to get around the issue for large xml uploads not only for this site. (If I get time I’ll sign up to the forum and post this there).

Thank you very much for posting this. I’ll definitely keep this to hand to refer on to people having issues. Really appreciate you taking the time to post it!

- Ed

No problem :) It seems site demo content is growing larger these days and the gzip seems to solve a lot of the issues people are mentioning, so more than happy to help – anything to make it more painless.

hi, i have a problem with Paypal, if I try to make the purchase brings me error paypal

once tried to pay me this error, please help me , this is a screenshot of the error :http://shop.alessandrorisso.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Schermata-2013-07-20-alle-18.14.23.png

Glad you sorted it!

- Ed

I’d like to replace the “default sorting” dropdown on the all-up product grid, aka shop full-width page, with a dropdown menu that allows the user to sort by product category. I can get the product categories to show up in a list in a sidebar, but I don’t want to use a sidebar on my site.

I’m also interested in re-ordering the tabbed details on the product page. I’d like to remove ‘additional features’ and move the social sharing options up below the price. Any help is much appreciated! Love the theme, my client is stoked so far!

Hi there,

The default sorting is standard WooCommerce functionality. You could definitely code something up to replace it though.

You can edit the structure of the product page by editing /woocommerce/content-single-product.php, but you’ll likely have to hook into the filters.

If you’re not too confident with php, then I’d recommend hiring a freelancer.

- Ed

is it possible to change the size of the images on the shop page and in single product page ( demo has length image 843 px)? I went to woocommerce and change the sizes also i regenerate thumbnail and no success :(

Any help ? Thanks

Hi there,

You can add the following code to the custom css box within theme options and then modify the sizes to suit your needs. You’d need to leave 4% difference:

.woocommerce div.product div.images {
    width: 48%;
.woocommerce div.product div.summary {
    width: 48%;

- Ed

I would like to change the orientation of the Product detail page from being showcased below the larger image to aligned on the right side of the image to look like this: http://needsupply.com/womens/anna-contrast-top.html

Hi there,

This could be done, but you’d need to manually edit /woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php

- Ed

Hi, is it possible to have a product composite?

I have seen a plugin basically I would like to be able to offer a core product say “a sneaker” with options for “laces” in different colors etc

Hi there,

You can set these up as product variations in WooCommerce – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/product-variations/

- Ed

Thankyou! Going to purchase this support is great! Though not an issue with your theme I am trying to make a combo option variations does most of the work but for example if you were to purchase a dell you select, cpu / memory / hard drive etc each on a different table to “build the unit” using variations I could have 200 possible variations with a different image. I did see a “WooCommerce composite (NOT AFFILATED!)http://www.woothemes.com/products/composite-products/ would this work with this theme?

You’re welcome!

That plugin should work fine, if you have any issues with it then we’ll be happy to help.

How can I translate my site into Russian? Can you help me please…

Which text isn’t translated?

- Ed

e.g. “proceed to checkout”, “Showing all 4 products”, “Your selection (1 item)”, “Order Received”

Are you sure you have translated all the po file strings? This may also be of some help – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

Hi SwiftIdeas,

I’m getting errors while uploading images to the server

Warning: imagecreatetruecolor() [function.imagecreatetruecolor]: Invalid image dimensions in /home/contentl/wp-includes/media.php on line 937

Warning: imagecopyresampled(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/content/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-gd.php on line 162 10253

also I found some “auto-scale” images are missing. I think these size are missing 40×720 1124×1686 562×843

Ok, are you sorted now then?

- Ed

I have no skills to work on the codes so I’m expecting your next update :) but anyway, the website is under testing and the theme is working fine except the annoying errors, so thank you so much for bring us this awesome theme

Great, you’re more than welcome. If you’re happy then we’d really appreciate a rating on the item.

Thanks for your prompt answer for earlier question. You told me that the thumbnail would look clearly by 540px… but it is not..

Please visit below link : http://mylofthost.cafe24.com/wp/

Please check new product part.

I have another question.

It is possible to show related article below a post, so I wonder it worked same way for related product. It would be perfect If I can designate specific products for each post.

Thanks a lot!

Hi there,

Checked your site, and seems you have 150×150 images? Have you used the regenerate thumbnails plugin as suggested in the docs/woocommerce settings?

Related products work based on category I think, but you could also add up-sells products per product to show specific products.
