Sorry. It’s not RTL compatible. My newer magazine theme ( https://themeforest.net/item/trends-newsmagazine-responsive-blogger-template/19632212 ) is RTL compatible but not this one.

You just need to add a label named featured to a post for it show up on featured slider. Also note that labels are case sensitive, so featured and Featured are two different labels. Use featured

Hi- that’s not the issue I’m dealing with. These are the issues:

1. I deleted the Featured Slider widget. I need the HTML code so that I can add a new widget and add the code.

2. I don’t know where it’s supposed to be placed. You say Column 1 but there is no Column 1. Is it supposed to go under the MegaMenu? When I try doing that, it doesn’t show up or work properly.

Can you maybe email with me directly and we can work on it that way? I emailed you directly yesterday.

One option is to reupload the template. That will bring back the slider widget that you deleted. If that’s not an option for you because you want to keep the changes you made.
Other option is to invite me to join your blog, once i accept your invitation, make me admin. I will set it up for you. You will find my email address on installation guide. And don’t worry you can remove me anytime.

Featured slider is not a widget so you didn’t accidentally delete it. It was working properly. The problem was you were using the label ‘Featured’ instead of ‘featured’ that’s why no posts were appearing on your featured slider. Like i said labels on blogger are case sensitive. Anyways, because you seem to be using all labels with first capital letter, i have altered the template to to show slider post when you label them as Featured. Good luck

You insert the jump breaks by first simply click the line in your post editor where you want it and then click the dash in your post editor header. See this pic – https://i.ibb.co/k3ZKxPw/Post-Edit.png

New question- I want to change the header image to one that has my blog name’s text. I made sure the sizing is correct and matches the current sizing. However, when I try uploading it with the option “Instead of title and description” it displays incorrectly- basically like a very thin strip across the page. Is there a way to fix this? Or if I MUST choose the option to upload the header image “behind title and description” is there a way to make the title and description invisible?

Go to Theme > Customize > Advanced > Add CSS. Paste the below code in the white box.

hi, i solved this problem myself now. I changed the feed blog to “show full post” from “short summary” .

But, i have some other problems, Like, the featured image is overlapping with megamenu items (if you click the first menu item then its content list overlaps with the featured image),

...and my header is too bigger and the adsense ad is placed below the site logo instead of being beside it.

Seems like you fixed your issues.

yeah, i fixed the overlapping problem by moving the menu items that had submenus to the right most side.

1. 1- BUT, i find one bigger problem here with your theme. I think it’s killing the onpage SEO for my blog. Even the Home page has [H2] as Blog title instead of [H1] .

And…. ” <.H2.>: Mega Menu ” is everywhere on every page ….why this H2 heading to the Word “mega menu”.....and every page title has H2 heading instead of H1….please give us all a solution to this…..otherwise i would say i am not very happy with your theme…....this is the very basic thing how could you ignore?? We are not techs …so …it’s dying hard for us to do that…

..another problem.. i found that “quick Post edit” button is also missing…i seached everywhere..i found the best tutorial here- titled as – “How to Add Missing Quick Edit Pencil in Blogger” at this blog -

But, even this tutorial failed to help. The codes advised by the author to add before a given ‘code’ could not be found on your theme.

The quick edit is very important as i have more than 400 posts and often go to front end of the blog while logged in and then i edit posts directly from there…..so…a big trouble for everytime i need to edit a post! Please offer some relief! thanks.

See, heading tags are used for google to better understand your blog, like, which part is more important in a page. Because blogger is owned by google itself and used by million, google understand its structure well enough. Like, when you use the header widget to display your blog title, google knows that this widget contains the title of the blog, no matter what heading tag you use. Google itself use h2 tag for blog title, here – https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2016/11/rich-cards-expands-to-more-verticals.html
And, by the way, newspaper template ‘Blog title’ is H1, when you use title text instead of image. It’s not H2 as you mentioned.

Now, every widget title is h2 by default in blogger. Because Mega Menu is a widget, it’s title is named Mega Menu which is h2. And because we don’t need the widget title to show up on mega menu, we have hidden it. As with all the blogger default templates as well as google official blogs, you can see the widget titles are h2.

For adsense ad below post title, follow this -
Go to Template > Edit HTML > Press CTRL +F > In the Search box type “post-share-buttons” without quotes and hit Enter. You will find the below code -

For your “quick edit” solutio, i would say : “Beautiful! It worked like charm.

For the Google part about H2 and H1 headings, i would say they are so high in authority may be they dont follow any SEO rules while creating the content. But, on the Entire Internet you would find that whatever i said was also true. It’s the Most Desirable thing for SEO! Why would ignore it if it is not a very big deal. So, i follow that silently.

About the adsense code, thank you, but i already figured it out from somewhere else . But, other users may take benefit of the code you suggested

[1] – one more issue i found, we normally happen to see the preview of a post ever then and now. So, it is an important element. But, with your template i don’t see any post preview ‘properly with all the written content in it’ ( i only see some blank widgets, etc). May be this is the case with me only. You have to check that yourself.

[2] – There is no custom 404 error page. Whenever we dont find anything in search it shows and says nothing- a blank page! There should be written some thing regarding the search made by a user.

=> this is a unique problem, may be: if you open any lable on my blog ( for exam- ads2020.marketing/search/label/SEO ) it shows all the content placed before a page break from the every post in lable indexing INSTEAD of showing excerpts ! This looks really weird. May be the problem happened in the process of editing, but i am not aware about it.

Thanks a lot for the solution to the issue #2 . And the problem #1 is happening since i started using your template. About the solution you gave for #3 , i Cant accept it as it will kill the seo value of my post. Because If i make that “no” then i wont be able t put SEO description in any posts. PLEASE OFFER ME THE OTHER WAY TO SOLVE THIS. I know it is possible with some other methods.

And, by the way, The excerpts problem was still there even after i made that Description edit “no”

By the way, blogger in itself is not very search engine friendly. If you want to run a SEO perfect blog, wordpress is your destination. Blogger is meant for simple blogging.
