Hi Tomek,

I’m using widgetkit – HomepageSlideshow. Is there any way to change the font size of Heading and caption?

I appreciate your help!!

Hi Izumi, to make that change, you will need to edit CSS, which contain all styles for slider. Please edit file:
Here in lines:
.wk-slideshow .caption { float:left; ... font-size:14px .... }
.wk-slideshow .caption h1 a { font-size:36px;  .... .}

you can edit font size of caption and font size of caption title.

Regards, Tomek

Thank you so much for your help!! Your explanation is always very easy to understand. So helpful !!

Have a great week Tomek :)

Regards, Izumi

You’re welcome. Have a nice week :) Tomek

Hi Tomek,

First off, awesome theme. I’ve purchased and used it as the foundation of a few different projects so far. Although, I’ve been fighting with why the Menu Pill won’t show for some reason in IE. It looks fine in FF & Chrome but there seems to be an issue with the z-index. Wondered if you could take a look and see if there’s something easy that comes to mind that could fix it? I’ve tried for several days with no luck.

Thanks for any help!

thank you for your purchase and kind words.

Pill of menu was tested in all versions of IE. The only version where pill menu will work a bit differently is IE7, here pill is rendered without background at hover, and unfortunately because of rendering issues in IE7, there is not much what can be done here.

If you are facing problems with pill animation on IE7 (like small faltering of menu), you can remove style for it, by adding following line in to “template-ie7.css” file.

.fusion-pill-r { display:none; }

In all other IE browsers including IE 8,9 and 10 pill animation should work fully correctly.

I Hope that this will help,

Regards, Tomek

Thanks for the reply. For some reason IE9 is pulling the IE7 css and doing exactly what you were saying. I ended up removing the background: transparent and adding !important to the z-index and it seems to work now. Probably messes up the IE7 CSS but i’m not too worried.

Hello, please make sure that you don’t have IE7 compatibility mode enabled under IE9, this could be a problem ;)

Have a nice weekend, Regards, Tomek

Hi is possible to add accordion and toggler in this template?

of course but you will need to use plugin for Joomla for that purpose. At extensions.joomla.org you will find many different simple extensions, which help you to add this functionality to website.

Any news on the Joomla 3.1 update for Next?

Thank you…. and for all who will purchase this theme… It is A+++ wonderful and one of the best templates ever published on TF.

7Studio deserves much thanks for the Update on Joomla 3.0x

I can not express my thanks enough on such an exceptional design and tech support!

Thank you Joomgirl for your feedback! I hope that this version will be useful.

Regards, Tomek

Very useful!!! Thanks! :)

I would like to inform, that update 1.3.0 is available for download.

This update brings separate version of template for Joomla! 3.x . Templates are fully responsive, and built on top of the Bootstrap Framework (2.3.X).

Update in version for Joomla! 2.5.X (Gantry Framework)

  • - Added Oswald font to the list of default fonts – (loaded via font-face)
  • - Added support for a RokBox 2 plugin (popup login module)
  • - QuickStart packages updated (Joomla! 2.5.11)
  • - Removed Joomlaworks Disqus plugin because of compatibility issues in latest versions of Joomla! 2.5.X.

Hi my auto resize function is not working if i resize the web screen

answer for your question was already sent (22.06.2013), if you have not received itplease check your spam folder.

If you want to use responsive version of template, please install template (or QuickStart package) for Joomla! 3.X (version for Joomla! 2.5 uses fixed width layout).

Detailed Instructions how to install QuickStart package you can find in documentation folder.

Regards, Tomek

Hi, can you tell me how to make the drop down menu transparent, eg. opacity: 0.8? I tested the Joomla 2.5 version and it had the option to adjust the opacity in bootstrap. I’ve decided to redo my website in Joomla 3 and can work out how where to change the opacity. Kind regards, Greg

Hello Greg,

you can change opacity of submenus via CSS,

for white version:

.svn-menu ul { background-color: rgba(252, 252, 252, 0.8); }

for black version:

.svn-menu ul { background-color: rgba(51, 51, 51, 0.8); }

Please add this line in to custom.css file, which is stored in template css directory, or please enable option “Custom CSS” in advanced settings of template, where also you can add this code.

Best Regards, Tomek

Do u have easy solution for Joomla novice?

You’re welcome :) Regards, Tomek

One more question (i hope last one)

It is probable stupid question, but im noob and im little confused :) and i want be sure about that…, it is possible in one ARTICLE … make 2 or 3 or 4 “collumns” – I mean, .. same visual thing like if I use 4 modules into … top A ? .. with i dont know.. some shortcodes or something like that? or I have to stick with modules?, thanks

Hello and I apologize for delayed reply.

it depends what you want to achieve, you can use modules, or you can use different articles, as menu item type you can choose blog layout and display articles in desired amount of columns.

Best Regards, Tomek

Hi Tomek,

Can you please tell me why the images aren’t cropping correctly in browser Firefox.

In Safari nothing is wrong.

Thanks Dennis

Hello Dennis, in image float options pelase just choose “none”. This should solve your problem.

Best Regards, Tomek

Nice! This solved the problem. Thank you

You’re welcome Dennis.

Have a nice day, Tomek

How can I put the Menu in the “middle”, I mean “centre”? Standard it is on the left side, but I would like to centre the Main Menu …

this change will require modifications in basic style of CSS of menu. Support doesn’t include customizations, but if you wish, please contact me via contact form which can be found on my profile page, and I can point you correct direction.

Best Regards, Tomek

Hi Tomek, on your NEXT demo web page, if you click on any of the blog categories, on the right column, there`s some sort of cloud tag, with the title “popular on blog” Is this achieved with GK4? or how do you do it? Thanks in advanced

Is it complicated to switch to joomla 3.0, if i have your theme running on 2.5.11?

Hello Escolta and I’m sorry for delay with response.

Template for Joomla! 3.x was rewritten from scratch, which means that while upgrading Joomla! to 3.X you will need to install new version of the template with additional extensions.

If you are happy with your current site, I suggest to keep your site on Joomla! 2.5.X till the time, when Joomla! 3.5 will be released (LTS version of Joomla! – long term supported) .

Best Regards, Tomek

Hi, How can i remove the date?

Hello, You can disable date in template settings, tab – features.

Best Regards, Tomek

Hi Tomek,

Probably a simple solution but i can’t find how to create the horizontal menu. When i try it old style the menu becomes vertical: http://dev.arkmiddennoord.nl/ Any suggestion where i go wrong?

Thanks, Ray

Hello Ray, while looking at your website source code I see something strange, like if there are two menu modules published in menu position. Would you mind to send me a login details to your Joomla admin panel via contact form from my profile page?

I would like to take a look at settings. Thank you in advance, Best Regards, Tomek

Hi 7Studio,

First of all this is a wonderful template.

I need some information on how to add “JOIN US” social icons and “Signup for our newsletter” sections. I have gone through the documentation but seems like this part is missing.

It would be great if you can guide me on this. Thanks in advance.

Hello Syntica and thank you for your kind words.

Please let me know do you use version for Joomla! 3.x or Joomla! 2.5.x? (templates are a bit different for version for 2.5 and 3.x).

Basically, you can enable “social icons” in template features, here also you can give your text of “join us”, to add specific icon you just need to give url address of your account at facebook, twitter …

Newsletter – this is a newsletter module, which is a part of ACYmailing component for Joomla – http://www.acyba.com/ free starter version was used in QuickStart.

You will just need to install component, and publish newsletter module in barbottom module position.

I haven’t mentioned about that in template documentation, as while installing full QuickStart package all those options are already preset.

Have a nice day, Best Regards, Tomasz

Thank you for your quick reply. I’m using Joomla 3.2.2 white version of the theme. I have not installed any sample data as I did not get “Sample NEXT” option while installing.

I will try adding social network links and ACY mailing component.

Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your reply!

That is strange, if QuickStart package was used to install Joomla!, there must be an option to select next template sample data (due to the translation, option could be named a bit differently like “sample_next” but it must be there ;)).

Anyway, as I mentioned you can enable social icons in template features, and please publish newsletter module in “bottom-bar” module position.

If you will have any further questions please just let me know.

Kind Regards, Tomasz

I have added social icons and Installed ACY mailing component and positioned in “bottom-bar”and is there any simple way to make Newsletter look same like the Next demo template or I have to customize using CSS?

Now I wanna know how to position Search in “Toolbar-a” or “Toolbar-b”

Thanks in advance

Hello syntica, no problem, as I mentioned before, name of sample data file could be different due to the translation files (it could be named “sample_next”) but for sure it you will have an option to choose next sample data. If you will have any problems or concerns, please just let me know and I will try to help.

Hey Tomasz, Sure I will get back to you.

Thank you :)

Is it possible to display the title of my module for a barbottom position?

Hello, not by default. This is a specific module position. Module title in this area is hidden intentionally. This could be changed by changing type of module position there, but that requires small adjustments in template index.php file.

If you wish, please contact me directly via contact form from my profile page at TF, with information which template version you have installed (Joomla! 3.x or 2.5.X) and I can point you to correct direction.

Best Regards, Tomasz

i would like to buy this template, does it work on 3.3.0?

Yes, template should work on 3.3.0 without any problems.

Best Regards, Tomasz

Love at first sight!!! Template perfect, fast support!

We are glad that we could help! Thank you for your feedback! :)
