Images are not showing up on the demo. Might want to look into that. Running Win XP, Chrome. firstname.lastname@example.org for example shows default small image placeholder icon. As well as many others, such as slider images.
Good luck! Looks great though!!
Heya Ezii! I was just regenerating the image cache on the demo to speed things up a bit, so it should be all set now Thanks for the note!
Very nice theme!
Love the theme and illustrations used in it. Great work guys!
Yeey, Brandon’s back !!
layered psd files included – where can I find these – thanks
I just noticed that we didn’t package the main layout PSDs in the resources folder that we uploaded last night – I’ll re-submit them right now, so expect the review team here to approve them within the day for you guys to download
Nice work! Good luck with sales!
Thanks a bunch
THIS THEME IS AMAZING!
Seems like what I’ve been looking for a LONG time! haha
I have a few questions…
1. Lets say I have different portfolio pages, each with lets say 10 photos. Would they go under pages? and can I add different galleries to each portfolio pages?
2. In the gallery page where it shows all your galleries you’ve made, Can i add a gallery to the gallery page? This might be a dumb question. haha or maybe im not explaining it well..
3. Can you make custom plugins? or add a feature?
1. You can do this a couple different ways really. The filterable portfolio templates run based on posts, organized by whatever categories you assign – so you can have as many different portfolio pages as you want and just separate them out based on the categories that you want to pull from.
For instance, you could have a Parent Category for 20 posts that’s called “Real Estate Photos” and each photo would have a full blog post and sub-gallery associated with it… then you could have child categories like “Orange County”, “Los Angeles”, “Malibu”, etc. Then you could have another, say, 30 posts categorized under a “Landscape Photos” and have their own child categories for the filtering… like “Mammoth Mountain”, “Mojave Desert”, etc. That way you’d have 2 portfolios – one for Real Estate Photos, another for Landscape Photos – each with their own pages, posts, and filtration systems.
If you want a more streamlined “gallery” system with just photos and you don’t need to have a full post associated with each photo/video, then you can easily just create a new custom gallery on a couple different pages and then call each of those a “portfolio” too. You wouldn’t get the whole “filtration” button thing, but you wouldn’t necessarily need it this way as it’d be a super streamlined workflow intended for quick, easy publishing.
2. Yep – you can add your own galleries to any page… and you can have more than one gallery on a single page too… most of the straight up “gallery” stuff we use is straight from the WP Core behavior – we don’t mess around with that at all – they’ve got a system that they’ve perfected over years and years, so we’ve decided that’s really the best thing for our users.
3. Sure – we integrate with the vast majority of plugins out there already – although I can’t really “guarantee” that every plugin out there will work since there are a lot of “stinkers” and poorly coded plugins… and some plugins might require extra work on your part. We personally can help out with any and all basic theme-usage questions on our support forum, and we offer up the Skeleton Freelancers network to anyone who wants to go even further with the aid of a professional freelancer. http://freelancers.mdnw.net
Hope that helps cover your questions! The theme is really intended to be used the way that WordPress works naturally – we’ve done our best to actually not add a bunch of extra bloat and clutter to the mix, so you guys/gals can do whatever you want with the theme – from adding your own plugins and mods to completely reskinning it if you wanted.
Thanks so much! I just bought it and stoked to get everything set on the site im working on. Thanks a bunch! if I have any questions, ill let you know!

Boa tarde. Estou com dois erros em meu tema: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/storage/3/7f/70/artenopolis/public_html/wordpress/tombrasil/wp-content/themes/nitro/element-categoryrow-js.php on line 5
Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘footerjs’ was given in /home/storage/3/7f/70/artenopolis/public_html/wordpress/tombrasil/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 406
Poderia, por favor, me ajudar com uma solução?
Make sure you’re filling out the theme options panel – if you have some of that stuff left incomplete (like no categories selected for the category row or no valid posts with featured images), it can trigger missing value errors like that Just make sure you fill the forms out completely.
Muito obrigado, resolvido! Parabéns pelo tema.
Very great theme! love it
Hi, I’ve an error:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘footerjs’ not found or invalid function name in /homez.706/ideawda/www/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 406
Can you help me please?
My guess is you’d just want to try a re-download and re-upload of the theme since that’s one of the core functions that should always be in functions.php… if it’s not showing up, it could be a simple problem with the file transfer when you downloaded/uploaded the theme.
If that doesn’t work, can I get you to file this over at our support ticket system (http://makedesign.ticksy.com) along with a link and a login for us to check out?
I’m trying to reinstall everything, but I discovered that the theme gave me this error only on white skin (on the dark skin it works good!)
That’s odd! Any chance you posted a ticket with a login that I could check out? I’ll head over to Ticksy in a few minutes to hunt for it
I’ve got two errors of my item when I install this.
The first : Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/3/d459385523/htdocs/ASSO-AROMES/wp-content/themes/nitro/element-categoryrow-js.php on line 5
The second : Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘footerjs’ not found or invalid function name in /homepages/3/d459385523/htdocs/ASSO-AROMES/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 406.
Please explain me who I try to delete this errors.
If you can’t do anything, I would to be repaid.
Thank you very much for your explication.
P.S : I’m sorry but I don’t speak english very well.
Amazing theme. I have two questions, when the top menu loads it loads weird, first appears on the left and then is formatted and moves to the right. Can this be changed easily? Also, the fonts appear normally and the special Google fonts overlay on top of them, is there anyway to prevent this effect from being noticed when the page loads. Thx.
1. Sure – I’ll add a float-right to the initial menu load and that should fix it
2. Not really – Google Fonts and Typekit fonts always load after the entire page loads, so unless you want to use one of our standard web-font options (we have a couple), then this is just how it goes. The entire page loads in under 1 second for me on most devices, so the wait time tends to not really take so long for most users
This is great! If the menu is fixed the theme is just about perfect.
Ill look into making a mod that turns it into a fixed menu then cheers!
Hi, you not the background and accent colors are changeable, but what about the menu subtext and block colors? Also, is it possible to widgetize the top of the site, i.e. put in a contact box for email addresses etc.?
All colors on the site are configurable through the highlight color editor in the Theme Options panel
And it’s possible to widgetize the top of the site, but it’d be a customization that you’d need to work out on your own since that not part of the theme’s out-of-the-box features
Love the theme. Tried to import the demo content per ‘HowtoCopyTheThemeDemo’ file (followed instructions to the letter), but half the files were unsuccessful (which I attributed to the site being https). Biggest issue was that he sub-footer was floating around. Just to be safe, I uninstalled Wordpress & Nitro theme entirely and decided to re-install (1) Wordpress – this time on http vs https (2) Nitro theme – without importing the demo content. Yet, the same issue persists (floating sub-footer) — Can you please advise?
Also, I have made several CSS customizations, but I cannot for the life of me get a top-border to show on the main footer container like in the Nitro demo. Where can I do this? (You’ll see that I managed a bottom-border on the tophat, so I don’t understand.)
Like I said, I love the theme. I even already owned the Revolution Slider but loved the fact you had designed exactly what I am looking for. Your documentation is superb!
It’s the weekend and I’m on my phone, but ill get ya some assistance ASAP on Monday if you can file a ticket for me at makedesign.ticksy.com
Update: I’ll be uploading a new demo data file with a trimmed down set of data (just a couple posts, pages, etc) per another users request, so that should sort that out Thanks a ton for your feedback on that.
For the sub-footer, try adding this custom CSS:
bottom: 0 !important;
position: relative !important;
I was disappointed in this theme. First, import the sample data, Why so many images? And i found this bug.
Warning: call_user_func_array () [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘footerjs’ was given in / home / belette / www / wp-includes / plugin.php on line 406
I need to buy another theme…
Ill look into reducing the number of images in the demo data, but the vast majority of users actually have requested the full demo website data, which has lots of images perhaps we’ll include a “sample data light” version though!
For the “bug”, I’ve since submitted a patch as of yesterday, but it’s not actually a bug, it just requires that you fill out the full options panel as any theme would if you’d like to grab the patch to remove the message prior to setting up the theme though, the patch is up right now.
