Adding the Events Manager has made the profile menu bare overrun… anyway to overcome this?

Congratulations, this just looks great! Wish you many sales :)

Thank you very much.

Congratulations, you have some great work!

Thanks man.

Selected as Top BuddyPress Theme.

I’m glad you like it.

Great theme! How long until it works on mobile? I am waiting to purchase! :)

I hope it will be done tomorrow.

I would like to know if there is a way to ingrate a chat in this theme for user to chat instantly?

Of course! There is many chats for buddypres and wordpress like this one: http://www.123flashchat.com/buddypress-chat

Also search in google buddypress chat This theme is compatible with all plugins.

Is there a support forum? Have a few little issues ;-)

Nope, you can send an e-mail.

This is one of the best BP themes out there, and I’ve seen quite some (and bought)

Main concern is, will this one get updated when the BP 1.7 rolls out? It’s going to have a major theme overhaul.

Yes, I’ll update my themes.

hi, first time wp user – just tried to install your theme, get the error message “misses style.css” stylesheet. please advice. thanks!

just sorted it out – thanks :)

Is it also possible to make groups private? so only members who is invited to a group can see posts/forums inside the group?

Yes you can – http://imm.io/S02p

For the section “On The Forums”, getting message

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_has_forum_topics() in /public_html/wp-content/themes/OneCommunity/frontpage1.php on line 224

But buddypress 1.7 wasn’t released yet.

You can open footer.php and replace xa-50d5ccc825461c61

Sorry for any confusion. buddypress documentation suggest to use bbpress instead of bp group forum to prepare for the upcoming change. I’m using their suggestion: buddypress 1.6.2 and bbpress 2.2.3 which is why I’m getting the error message above.

Are you saying that I should use bp group forum only? I’m trying to avoid any transfer/conversion headache later. Hope you understand.

You must install Forums for Groups. I think there will be one-click conversion.

good looking theme. a couple of questions:

1. are there predefined theme styles/colors? 2. can i have the front page as normal blog?

1. No but there is a detailed documentation where is explained how to change all colors.

2. Yes, it’s very easy.

I am EXTREMELY interested in this theme. But I have 6 questions. I’m doing a buddypress theme from scratch but I almost want to switch to yours just so I can launch quicker.

1) I’ve bought a few buddypress themes that weren’t compatible with child themes. Can you tell me if your buddypress theme is compatible with child themes or not?

2) Will you be making in responsive in the next few days by chance?

3) I read in another post that their is detailed documentation regarding color changes. Do you mean to say that you’ve got a “Task List” for those of us who may want to change the colors? I’m cool with that, I don’t need a color change option, I’m just hoping that you’ve got some kind of task list or check list for it, so I can save myself a few hours if at all possible.

4) I noticed that your main container has a full border, but if you scroll past the main container on a page/post where the sidebar is longer than the page content (i.e. http://themeforest.net/item/onecommunity-buddypress-theme/full_screen_preview/3713046) you’ll notice that the sidebar elements are not wrapped in the border completely. Do you have plans to change that in the core files in your next update?

5) I noticed in another comment thread here (and in your FAQs) that you’ve disabled the “change avatar” option on the front end for members due to a compatibility issue with buddypress not allowing square avatars and horizontal group avatars. That being said, if I purchase the theme, I need people to have that option, could you walk me through adding it back and then changing the current image sizes for avatars to compatible sizes in order to make it so in my child theme?

6) BP 1.7 is around the corner, I’m assuming that you are well aware of this and prepared as it is said to have some pretty dramatic changes to multiple aspects of bp themes and how they interact with bp core. Do you have a support forum where your dev customers can help you when that happens with bug tickets and feedback and fixes to get a theme update rolled out as quickly as possible after BP 1.7 drops?

Sorry for the lengthy questions, but as I said, I see your theme as a possible replacement for my custom theme that I’m using on a personal project and I’d much rather launch next week than next month – which is what I’m looking at if I keep with my own custom theme. Thanks in advance for your answers to my questions.

Purchased. I’m confident that you will retain your amazing support, so I’m not waiting for your update, I’ll start now and grab the update when available. I hope it looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. Great job!

1.) Are forum comments nested if I reply to a comment on a thread, or will it place a reply to another comment all the way at the bottom of the thread?

Each forum post is at the bottom of the thread

I may just use this theme since it’s already good to go and then put mine up on ThemeForest after I get back to deving it post launch.

I’m not sure what do you mean but if you plan to build a theme based on my theme and sell it on Themeforest then it’s illegal and Envato will suspend your account.

No…I was building a custom theme for my project, but am running out of time. It was from scratch. It’s nearly complete but still at least a month or two away from being done as my schedule is packed right now. I was just thinking out loud that I may just buy your theme for my new project and then if/when I ever finish my theme, I may just sell it on TF…not sell your theme.

Your theme is awesome…bought it happily. Gave 5 stars

Can you post on this comment once you make the theme responsive (I’ll then know by email). I will be purchasing as soon as you do :)

It’s available. You can check it on the live demo.

I love the styles you integrated – but I’d like to change the BP login/forum/blog and other main orange links at the top to specific pages for my own site. Can I modify these and the colors as well?

Links and text you can change under theme settings but icons are here:
There is a detailed documentation where is explained how to change all colors.

Is it easy to change the colors from orange to red, blue, etc?

Yes, there is a detailed documentation where is explained how to change all colors via style.css

Hi, sorry my english. I’m italian. Why error installation buddyexpress??

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bp_dtheme_register_actions() (previously declared in /web/htdocs/www.cambiaidea.org/home/community/wp-content/themes/OneCommunity/_inc/ajax.php:30) in /web/htdocs/www.cambiaidea.org/home/community/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/ajax.php on line 77

Buddyexpress? Is it some buddypress extension? I can’t find it anywhere: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=buddyexpress

You said you got this error?

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bp_dtheme_register_actions() (previously declared in /web/htdocs/www.cambiaidea.org/home/community/wp-content/themes/OneCommunity/_inc/ajax.php:30) in /web/htdocs/www.cambiaidea.org/home/community/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/ajax.php on line 77

I got that error as well. Easy fix, here is what you do.

1. Backup everything in your FTP /themes/ folder
2. Delete all themes except twenty eleven and buddypress default
3. Refresh your wp-admin browser screen. This should bring you back to the themes page with twentyeleven installed.
4. Go To wp-admin >> plugins menu and deactivate buddypress main plugin. (If you have the buddypress template pack, deactivate and uninstall that one.)
5. Reinstall your OneCommunity and your child theme via FTP (not the uploader!)
6. Reactivate Buddypress
7. Activate your theme and you should be good to go.

If by chance you try to refresh and nothing happens, just delete your buddypress plugin folder via FTP and try again. And then log back in and manually switch back to the One Community after re-installing it via FTP and you should be good.

Hope that helps.

Hi, on my blog page there ist only one item displayed. How to set up the blog-page for e.g. 5 articles per page ?

From all categories.

I have only one post on this site… What can be the problem ? See the site: http://hollosch.geislingen.org/blog/

It can be caused by some plugin. You can send me on e-mail a login & password to your WP dashboard so I’ll take a look on it.

@Diabolique. One of the best purchases I’ve made on TF for sure. However, can you add responsiveness to the content areas (including the homepage text area. When I place an image inside that element, it doesn’t resize the image with the browser as it does the rest of the content and elements on screen.

As for this comment you made to someone previously….

Links and text you can change under theme settings but icons are here:

In my child theme (setup as you advised me to in my previous comment) I cannot seem to find these options. Please advise.

Great Work 5 stars in 2 seconds!

Where is this homepage text area?

In my child theme (setup as you advised me to in my previous comment) I cannot seem to find these options. Please advise.

It’s here – http://imm.io/S7wJ
