Hi, Does your template support right and left eye optical prescription on product level? And once a client selects the right prescription numbers can this result in a (sub) product SKU so it is possible to link it to an actual physical product? Thanks, Bob

Nice Tumblr theme, using it in one of my Tumblr sites, thanks!

Really good,

Thank you! :bashfulcute:

This isnt a wordpress theme? O.o bye bye 30 dollar.

Hey Ricardio,

If you were looking for a WordPress theme and not a Tumblr theme then you can contact the support team and they should be able to help you out with a refund. :)

Hy! I just got the optic theme yerterday, looking good, fit’s good with our brand. (nastymind.org is the site) But I’m a little dumm in webpages, so i have a few questions.

- How can I add a drop down menu? like this for example: -NASTYWORLD -Team -Collection -Roadtrip -About -Contact

- How can I add in the sub menus some photos from my hard drive?

- How can I add unique stlye icons to the sidebar, and how can I remove some of what is didn’t want to use?

Hope you can help me.

Ps. Sorry for my Bad English.

Greetz: Tibor

Hi nastymind,

I have replied to your support ticket. Reply to the ticket and I’ll be able to help you out.

Christine

scratch the last one. The theme is working now only when I click my blog to see what it looks like, it just displays the html code and then my posts further down (about 5 minutes worth of scrolling) with just a white background…

Hi frobro,

Thank you for purchasing the theme. :bashfulcute:

Have you tried refreshing the preview page to see if it updates? Sometimes the Tumblr editor can be a bit funny. Also try logging out and in again.

When I go to update my themes I sometimes see one of my other themes and panic but once refreshed it sorts itself out.

Let me know if you are still having issues.

Thanks,
Christine

No problem :) its very well designed.

+ no that is fine now, I discovered that I just had to exit the customizing area and then it set the theme.

My current issue is that I have the theme, I can edit it but when I look at it as everyone else sees the blog (clicking my photo to view the blog as everyone else would see it) it just shows all the html code on a white screen, then all my posts and the features of the optic theme are shown when I scroll down but are just in black and white.

Would it be possible to email a screenshot so you know what i’m talking about…not very good at describing :P.

Thank you for replying so early btw :D

Hey, I purchased this theme and followed your tutorial (on you tube) up to the point where i deleted the html of the previous theme and put in the new one. I clicked the preview button and it continues to show the loading button with no result. I was wondering if you could help me as I urgently want to install the theme. :)

Hi there, Enjoying the theme thanks. Any way to make the Twitter box longer/contain more posts? Thanks

Buyers Beware—this theme is falsely advertised.

The second screenshot, the one that shows the note count for each post on the homepage is not accurate. This theme does not allow that function.

I’ve brought this to the author’s attention a week ago but it doesn’t look like she cares. The bad screenshot is still there and the issue has not been addressed.

I have since updated the preview image set with the correct imagery.

I’m currently working on an update to the theme that incorporate both the social network links along with the date, notes and view buttons. I hope to upload the update tonight. Just got a few more features to add in. I will then update the preview image set again so that everything matches and there are no discrepancies.

Just re-downloaded it—and notes are showing in the footer of posts, just like I wanted!! Thanks and sorry for becoming so belligerent.

If there was a way to edit or delete my comment from earlier, I would. I was worried when the issue wasn’t resolved earlier that I was being ignored, so I got impatient.

So thanks for updating the theme and for being professional about the issue. And, again—great work. It really is a unique and well-designed theme.

No worries. I understand that it can be frustrating. I try to take everyones suggestions in and update the file as best I can to answer all customers requests. The theme can only get better with each update from customers feedback and suggestions.

Thank you for the kind words. :bashfulcute:

Let me know if you have any suggestions for features.

Thanks,
Christine

Is it possible to add buttons like links to Behance and such with custom logos, in the sidebar?

Hi peirik,

Thank you for purchasing the Optic Tumbr theme. :bashfulcute:

Sorry for the dleay in replying I have been away on holiday over the week.

So instead of using the social network links in the sidebar you would like to add your own custom logos that would link to your Behance profile, etc?

Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine,

First of all – LOVE your design ;)

I’ve never used Tumblr before… Can you tell me if it’s possible to add an email opt-in form in a fixed place on this theme? (maybe in the sidebar at the top or in a fixed “sticky” post that stays at the top of the page?)

Also, can we use Adsense ads on your theme?

Thanks!

Hi JohnnyAlpha,

Thank you for asking about the Optic theme.

So when you say an email opt-in form would this be for a newsletter subscription kind of service your wanting to provide?

Where would you like the AdSense ad to sit within the theme and I will be able to help you add it in.

Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine,

Yes – that’s right – I’d like to add in a form where people can subscribe to a newsletter.

As for the Adsense part – I need to look into it further but just wanted to know whether that was easy or difficult. There is a theme that is good for using Adsense but I FAR prefer your designs so wanted to ask you about that :)

Thanks for your help!

Hey Christine!

Can I use Masonry style in my pages which I create or is it only available in main index page?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes the Masonry effect is only available on the main index page of the theme.

Thanks,
Christine

Hi! just bought the theme: fantastic!!!

but i cant seem to get the twitter feed to show my “latest tweet”. the box is just empty. Is there anything else i have to do than to put my twitter-id in the field?

thanks for a great theme! great work.

Hey peirik,

Thank you for purchasing the Optic theme. :bashfulcute:

I am aware that the Twitter feed has stopped working. This is due to Twitter updating their API. You’ll be glad to hear that I have just finished updating the theme and I’ll be uploading it to ThemeForest soon.

Read more about the issue here: https://wildemedia.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1185645-urgent-twitter-feeds

Thanks,
Christine

Hey peirik,

The update is now live. :)

If you download the theme again from your Downloads page you will have the updated and fixed version. Don’t forget to check the help docs on how to set up your new Twitter feed.

Thanks,
Christine

Hello,

I looked through the documentation but didn’t see anything about ads. Before I purchased it I wanted to know how could I implement my adsense into your theme.

Hey Trestarz,

Thank you for getting in contact.

Where would you like the posts to appear?

Thanks,
Christine

sorry to bother you with an on going issue. it seems that the glide function is not working:

Hey paxmachina,

I do remember replying to your issue through my support ticket system.

Would you be able to email me at support@wildemedia.co.uk and we’ll get this fixed for you. :)

Thanks,
Christine

Hi, Christine!

I would like to make the buttons in sub menu to be in diferent colors for my project. I’ve tryed a lot of things in the html, but nothing worked. Can you help me?

Thanks.

Hey!

Thank you for purchasing the Optic theme. :bashfulcute:

To change the colour of the sub menu and its hover state simply go to the Customize screen (where you installed the theme) and in the left panel scroll down until you see Sub Menu Link. Change the colour set here and that will change your sub menu link colour.

I hope that helps!

Thanks again,
Christine

Sorry, I wasn’t really clear in my question. My bad. =P

What I meant was how to make the sub menu buttons in different colors from each other. Like one red, one blue and one green.

Thanks.

Ah I see what you mean. This will require you to add some custom code to the theme.

Would you be able to email me at support@wildemedia.co.uk so I can send you over a step by step guide to achieving this?

Thanks,
Christine

Anyway I can fix the Title from showing up like this? http://greymafia.com/post/51129894651/when-im-doing-math-homework-and-the-answer-is-a-whole

This happens to both apostrophes and quotation marks.

Is there a way to fix apostrophes and quotation marks? In the titles?

Hey,

Could you try using a different font for me to see if the issue persists?

Thanks,
Christine

Alright I’ll try that I’ll get back to you with screenshots of different fonts

Hi Christine I need your help! I create a new page and I would like to upload the creative commons inside! Is it possible? How? Thank you very much!

Hey marcelmars,

If you could email me at support@wildemedia.co.uk I’ll be able to help you out through my support system.

Thanks,
Christine

I’m also interested in using this as a WordPress theme. Anyway you can port this over to WordPress? I would definitively buy it.

Hey yourevilmonk,

Thank you for purchasing the theme.

I might give it a go with converting it to WordPress. I need to bring all my other themes up to par first though so can’t guarantee a release date.

Thanks,
Christine

Optimistic about this! Thank you so much!

and a background page as well, thank you! :-)
