I wish I knew slider was not included. Another $14 for slider makes this a very expensive template for what it is.
Sorry about that. We updated the item description to include a note about this.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to further discuss this issue.
I can’t seem to get the slider to work. Any instructions?
Do you have a licensed copy of Revolution Slider?
If you do, have you tried including it’s JS & CSS files?
I added all the files and followed the instruction that came with my licensed copy.
It gives me this error in the console
jQuery.Deferred exception: jQuery(...).revolution is not a function TypeError: jQuery(...).revolution is not a function
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (beta/:829:28)
at mightThrow (js/jquery.js:3508:29)
at process (js/jquery.js:3576:12) undefined
Sorry, we have added more detailed instructions on how to include Revolution Slider.
Hi There, I downloaded your theme and I’m adding images. trying to add a static image to the header since I don’t have revolutionary slider. I just can’t seem to get it to work. Would you be able to provide some code that would allow me to add a static image on the header instead of the slider.
By the way, that would make a great addition to your template, some code for a static header so us noobs don’t have to spend hours trying to get it to work. Your hard work is much appreciated.
Thank you for your feedback. We have updated the item to include an example page without slider. Please PM us your email, so we can send you an updated archive, since it might take a while before an item gets reviewed and updated here.
how to add image?????
You need to open html file in the editor of your choice. Find a corresponding <img> tag and change it’s src attribute to link to your image. You can find more information in the documentation.
we got a problem with slider, we try to change images but doesn’t work.
can you help us??
The reason might be that you have not included necessary JS and CSS files for Revolution Slider. If you don’t want to purchase Revolution Slider jQuery plugin, you may look into index-no-slider.html file for an example of how to use single static image instead of slider.
Congratulations! Good luck
Morning all, teach me for not reading the comments before I have purchased. The theme stood out from the rest in this area. I have purchased 100’s of themes and they all include the slider as shown on the demo. I agree with Ijm 123 makes this theme to expensive for what it is. Very diappointed for the first time ever.
Sorry that the purchase disappointed you. We really wish to create items that don’t leave our customers unhappy and we worked really hard to release this item, but we are also a small company with a limited budget. Including the copy of Revolution Slider with this item is something we would like to do, but unfortunately the extended license of the plugin is not something we can afford right now. We specially added the notice on the item description page about the slider plugin not being included in the archive to avoid situations like this. We have also released an update that includes an example of the page where the slider is replaced with a static image and text.
Thank you for your feedback.
Hi, I appreciate your reply. I have to put this one to a loss as it was my mistake not reading it fully. I have added the background into the static theme and its not showing correctly either and I have not got the time to keep adjusting it. So it is just so diappointing, I cant use this theme now as it is very presentable. Many Thanks.
Maybe we can help you with adjusting the image?
by all means. When you replace right” style=”background-image:url(http://placehold.it/1920×560)”> with -right” style=”background-image:images/1920×560.png”> for instance it does not see the image.
You need to wrap the path to the image in url(...), even if it’s a local file. So in this case it should be “background-image: url(images/1920×560.png)”.
