Hello,
I have problems with the latest update of the theme.
When I update the entire theme on my website, the “Layout Blocks” disappear, such as Header, Footer, Mobile Header, etc.. All the configuration of “Theme Options” also disappears.
Is there a way that I can update the theme from Version 1.3.2 to Version 2.2.0 without losing anything?
Do you have any solution to this problem, any tutorial, etc …?
Note: Petal version installed: v1.3.2 – WordPress version Installed: v5.2.2

I’m also having an issue with the screen going blank when I activate the Petal theme. I’m feeling very disappointed with my purchase. It has been a much more challenging install than other themes I have used in the past. I’ve installed quite a few WP themes over the years and this one has been more of a challenge than most. I changed text in the site identity and the site disappeared into a blank white page. Other themes work fine if I activate them, but Petal seems to be broken and in conflict with the Petal plugin.

the support at Aislin are very attentive. I’m still sorting out a basic understanding of the theme – I am finding it a little challenging but it is not that there is anything wrong with the theme or the developers – they seem to be pretty awesome.

I’m using Polylang to make my website multilingual and I have doubts about some things:
1) I can’t translate Mega Menus and Layouts Blocks…
When I create a mega menu or a Layout Block it only remains in the default language and I don’t see options to translate the next language.

I uploaded a new slider image but now I can’t see the main menu headlings. is there a way to set the background colour for the header to white that isn’t somehow overruled by the slider pic? I found a setting for this but it doesn’t seem to be working
I resolved this by going to Layout Boxes and changing the background on the header box.

2. Project is a CPT and has a featured image which is used in project listings. Inside single project, WPBakery Page Builder addon is used for galleries.

I need a miltilanguage plugin that is compatible with Petal Theme. I tried using the qTranslate-X Plugin but it doesn’t work. I don’t think it’s compatible with Layout Blocks and Mega Menus.

1. From the Home Page Classic – can I link from the 3 column boxes [when I click on a box[ directly to a blog post or Page instead of a graphic or project page?
2. I have the same question as above about the Portfolio Page – can I link to Blog posts and/or Pages.
3. Can the landing page be a Portfolio Page [the first page that a visitor sees]?
4. When the pages are loading there is a blue colour – can I change the blue to another colour?

1. The 3 column grid that is used in Home Page Classic is for projects. An alternative would be to use a different type of grid for posts which will not look the same. 2. Same as 1. 3. Yes. 4. Yes, colors are customizable.

Hello, thank you for using our theme. Alternative sticky logo can be set in Theme Options/Header/Sticky Header.
The only image option under this area is background image, which will not replace the logo. Do you have another option or is there another setting?
