Hello, I am looking to purchase your theme and I have a few outstanding questions.
I am a landscape photographer and I shoot primarily panorama images, however I also shoot a variety of other aspect ratios. I am wondering if your homepage gallery is able to decipher between the two and know when to use a full width setting versus a full height setting and vice versa.
also, any idea when you might offer a high resolution version of this theme?
We can adjust / fix it via CSS and you could use a plugin just for the slideshow if you want to.
As for the higher resolution we have no plans on that at this point.

I have implemented a SSL certificate for a Photolux-website but I experience some difficulties. 2 below scripts are not with https. Is it possible you can take a look?
The first one is WP’s call to jQuery so I recommend you using a plugin for that. The second one is quite simple to fix, change the font family call under the theme options.
Thanks, I change the fonts family call, but I cannot find a plugin for the first one. When I Google, I find websites for developers. I can insert JS and add functions, but have to know what I should change…

That would require a bit of custom code for a lazyloading style, but in theory you could change the number of posts per page to 1 and they will be loaded one by one (the problem is that you’ll need to click to load more several times, or add a bit of custom code to automatically load more as the previous has been loaded).

If yes, it isn’t possible to do with just the captions of the images, you may need a bit of custom code (CSS or JS) to add that.
Is it possible to put text-content in the grid gallery above youtube-videos for example?
I am considering purchasing the theme. I saw that pages or galleries urls end with #xxxx, which is a significant disadvantage from the SEO standpoint. Is it able to have page or gallery URLs in this format: www.domain.com/about-us/ or www.domain.com/food-photography-samples/

Basically each portfolio item in the gallery also has its own corresponding static page that looks like this. So, you could either make the portfolio items directly link to these pages (instead of opening a slider/lightbox) or you can alternatively make these items available in the menus and/or the sitemap of your site, so the crawlers will know about these URLs.
Just updated to this new updated and now the Contact Page is broken. The side bar widgets dont show up and the content for the page is blank as well. Even try to change the template style and it still the same results. Everything has worked fine until the update.
So in turn, there’s no more contact form on the website since this latest update you all released.
That’s really strange! We’ve tested the contact form on several different installations (including the demo) and we’ve never experienced any issues. It might be something that’s specific to your setup and we’ll need to investigate this further. Would you be able to open a ticket/bug report on our support site and provide as much info as possible (e.g. link to your contact page, any error messages, etc.). Meanwhile until we get this fixed, if you want you can install the Contact Form 7 plugin and add it to another temporary contact page – it is very easy to setup. Thank you!
I tried but its saying my support is 4 years expired. I dont think I should have to pay you guys since I’ve never had an issue is over 4 years of owning this theme without any issues after updates and the minute I update a certain page on the template no longer functions. Is there anything on the site you all can do so I can avoid this in this one instance?
Also, just did some testing and its the MAP code that is causing an issue. You can run more than one map code on the page now. If I remove the map code for one of the locations, everything is back to normal. So the issue is now found, just can’t see to see what i triggering it after the update….brings me back to my question about the support page above.
Thanks for the info, it’s good to hear that you have found the cause – so it’s mainly related with a map plugin, not the actual contact form. Please feel free to open a bug report – you don’t need to have an active support for that. Just click on the “New Ticket” button and then in the page that opens, click on the “Submit a bug report” link (from the blue boxes section). Thanks!
Indeed it does! Looks like they installed a Google Maps plugin and I didn’t know it. So everything is actually fine, its just a bug with this plugin which is called… WP Google Maps Bank by Tech Banker. So we’re all good, sorry to bother haha.

Hi…I’m writing because Im having an issue when I add a caption to an image in a blog post. It appears to make the image set to a defined width instead of auto which pushes it over the div boundary and into the widget column. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.

Yes, so far it’s been working fine in our local installs and we have no issues reported. We do recommend you running a full backup first, but it should work fine.

There are no big issues when migrating from Photolux to another theme, but we can certainly help you in this process. Maybe some adjustments are needed, depending on your desired result.
