All I have to say is GREAT THEME!!!! Real quick question… Is there anyway to change the speed of the dropdown menu? Mine is acting a little weird
Thank you very much, I’m glad you like the theme

Also… I notice that the dropdown acts a little funky when I try and hover over it and scroll down. Can you check that out real quick??? Thanks a million

Hello. I’m a co-developer of the Ultimate Tinymce plugin for WordPress. It seems one of your users is having a problem with WP pagination using this theme. I suggested her to contact your support team, but she doesn’t seem willing to do so.
However, I thought you might be interested to know about this issue, since AFAICT, it seems to be coming from the way (content filter?) in which the theme is adding the bottom tabs and social icons after each post.
The link to the thread is http://wordpress.org/support/topic/page-numbers-under-my-author-box?replies=9.
The theme doesn’t add any tabs or social icons and doesn’t apply any filters to the content – this may be added by another plugin, so you can suggest the user to temporarily disable all of the other plugins installed. If you would like to discuss this further, you can send me a private message by using our profile contact form.
Hi Great theme, When i imported the demo.xml file into word press it does not import the images.
The files re in the gallery but they are blank
P.S. This is explained in the read me file for the demo export – grey dummy images are imported instead of the original ones for copyright reasons.
The SEO for the blog is fine, but the portfolio portion seems to not follow the same rules (like using the post title for the slug instead of a number) and isn’t getting indexed by Google – yet. I’m seeing blog pages popping up, but no portfolio pages nor any text entered into the slides. Am I doing something wrong, or is this not a functionality yet? And if it isn’t, would you consider adding that to the next release? Sorry to post here, I just got a new computer and don’t remember my password to log in to the support site (nor do I remember the URL anymore).
Really nice theme…thank you.
Question regarding Gallery Name: is there a way to change the name? By default each gallery gets a number. I would like to name each gallery accordingly.
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme
I’m wrong – the custom post types totally give the portfolio items the right name. But when you click them from a grid gallery, you get a #x0×0 4 digit number after the pound sign and not the real name of that portfolio item. Apparently, the same thing the post above me is asking. LOL. Didn’t notice until I looked up. But I still can’t figure out why Google won’t index those grid gallery sliders. They have text, so I don’t get it. And I have an XML sitemap, so I’m really at a loss. I’m thinking it must be related to the galleries being “called” by #number and not portfolio item name that’s underneath. Thanks.
is there any way to add an antique picture frame around the pics on the front page ? like 5-6 diferent ones added randomly?
Would buy if that would be possible.
By default there isn’t such kind of option – if you would like to implement such kind of random frame, it would require some additional code modifications. I think it would be easiest if you apply the frame to the thumbnail image and upload the image directly with a frame.
That’s a good idea i knew i can do that but i don’t want to have the frames on anywhere else if that is possible.
Can i upload the thumbnails only? or when someone clicks the image the first image will have the borders in it.
how much would you charge me implement it? thanks
And did you experiment with an ecommerce on this theme?
Yes, you can upload a separate thumbnail that won’t be displayed as part of the gallery – there is a field where you can insert a custom thumbnail if you want to. Regarding e-commerce – I haven’t done any in-depth testing, but generally the theme is built according to the best plugin compatibility practices, so it should be okay to use the plugins you like.
why is it not responsive?
Although it is not responsive, it looks and works very well on mobile devices. Anyway, we are currently working on a responsive update, which I hope will be available soon.
Does this theme have the ability to password protect galleries?
You can have a password protected quick gallery – you can see an example here (use “pexeto” as password). You can have this gallery in a sidebar and full-width (no sidebar) layout.
hi. Is it possible to change order of clicking on a item from permalink ajax loader to page realoder? TNX
If you mean to link the gallery item to another page – yes, you can do this. You can see an example in the Mixed Gallery page – just click on the “Link to item page” item. You can link the item to any page you like.
Enjoying the theme immensely, however there is a strange bug I can’t figure out. When configuring facebook and twitter URLs in the photolux admin console, the host URL is somehow added as a prefix to whatever you type into the console. Please help
Hi! I have problems with search engine indexing with the portfolios area.
Not even SEO by Yost. Any suggestions?
I have a pre-purchase question. I see on the homepage the items are in three columns with different heights. Can items cross two columns with different heights and widths, like other masonry layouts? Nice looking theme.
This is the way the gallery is designed and by default it doesn’t support this type of masonry layout. However, if you want you can also check our Expression theme which comes with this type of gallery layout.
Hi, In the next update do you plan on having a responsive design? If so can you give an Estimate as to when this might happen?
Yes, we are currently working on the responsive design update. I can’t really say for sure when exactly it will be available, I can only say that this is our main project that we are currently working on, so I hope it will be available soon.
Can’t seem to click on any of the homepage photos when on an iPhone…
I think this may be related with something on your device only, as it works well for me (on two different iphones) and also so far no one has reported this kind of problem. So, I would suggest to test from another iPhone if you can.
is it possible to add search bar for grid gallery theme? How would you do it? TNX.
By default you can use the default WordPress search in any widgetized area of the theme (sidebars), however it works like a standard search in a standard page layout. The gallery doesn’t provide a search option – if you implement the WordPress search into that page (it requires one line of code), it will still work in a standard way – you can see an example of the search in the sidebar of the blog page.
I bought your theme and I think the best I’ve had so far, Congratulations. It was very easy to integrate my site, it only wanted to ask a question.
The horizontal slider presentations I can not control the mouse button is there any settings to fix this problem?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you, I’m glad you like the theme!
P.S. When posting can you please explain this further as I’m not sure if I understand it correctly.
