We can’t provide changed files, but you can use a diff program to check the changes locally. We can’t support outdated versions of the theme, and all changes should be made in a child theme ideally.

Your version is too old to receive auto-updates, as we recently transitioned to a new update provider. We had a period of over a month where it was possible to update to the new version with the new provider before we discontinued it. I have the pinpoint theme version 1.5.5 running on WP 3.8.3. Both are quite old and I wish to upgrade to latest of both. Are there any know issues with the upgrade? I didn’t buy the original theme so if I receive a positive reply then will purchase new.
No known issues with the upgrades. You will need the latest version of the theme, in order to have WordPress 4.5.2 compatibility.

Pinpoint is a great looking theme but it is heavy. Chrome dev tools says that it has over 150 http requests and its load size is about 3.5 Mb.
The theme itself isn’t heavy – if you have 150 http requests then you likely have a few or more plugins, and large images/videos. If you are referring to the demo – then this is because all the included plugins are installed to be able to show them off. An optimised site will be much less weighty.
Using Theme 1,7,1 having sidebar error, side bar is displaying below main content also the boxed layout is being cropped in a little might be the padding not sure. Please Help.

If you have the latest version of the theme, then you will be able to update it via Appearance > Install Plugins.
I’m having a problem with the custom color css info in Pinpoint settings after setting this up the site is just bare no color info. I already posted in the forums and it was panned meaning support did not go deep enough to figure it out. Hi Swift Ideas I still don’t have this working and its causing me problems with my clients I have the latest version, I need answer since this is the theme out the box it should work correctly. As a long time owner of this theme I’ve been patiently waiting for answer to a basic problem.
Again after adding color info in the customizer they don’t show up on the site, The site looks like a bare frame work.
Our team responded to that topic but have not heard since – we’ll need you to respond to that topic in order to know that you are still having issues for us to look into.

Just took a further look and looks like your server is returning a 403 on the custom styles file. Try setting the theme’s permissions to 755 – that should sort it.
If you aren’t sure, then your host should be happy to assist.

You added supoort for Wordpress 3.6 on the version 1.5.4 in 9th August 2013.
Then, only in 16th April 2016 you added Wordpress 4.5 compatibility.
This is mor than 2 years without a major Wordpress compatibility update.
Is there a strong reason for this?
And, how about the future?
You know I’m planning to buy this theme but I’m afraid of not being allowed to update my Wordpress installation in the future just because the theme won’t be compatible.
There were other updates in that time, we just didn’t update the changelog in that time. We will continue updates for the theme as long as we sell it here, no need to worry about it not being compatible in the future.

Yes – we would advise Dante over Pinpoint if you are looking for more flexibility, as it is newer and has more features, plus a better framework.

As we said before – the theme has functionality like this, as it’s not something that the theme should do, this is functionality that should only be in a plugin.

Yes that’s correct – although there may be other plugins that do the same for cheaper or free. We aren’t aware of any though.
Hmm ok thats a option for us. I am checking the feature list and i am not sure about the payment. Your feature says..:
1)Payment can not be mandatory when a client creates a booking request (reservation).
2)Payment can be made when a client arrives at the location he/she booked.
In our case we have rooms which can be booked for min. one hour.
Can a client book a room on the webpage and pay directly before going to the room? Is reservation just a setting which can be changed?
You’d need to ask that question to the plugin developers – we have no experience with that plugin!

Hello, thank you for your prompt reply. The problem occurred with the Wordpress update to 4.7.1. PinpointVersion is 1.7.1. All the theme options have disappeared and I can not import my old sf_pinpoint_options_options file or reconfigure manually. Thank you for your help.
Hmm we can’t replicate the issue locally – was anything else changed in this process? Nothing like that should make the theme options disappear, unless they were reset.
Thank you for your follow up. In fact, I could identify that this is a concern for compatibility with the Yoast plugin. Did you get any other feedback like that? Any idea about how to fix this conflict?
Do you have the latest version of Yoast? We have had problems previously but we alerted them of the issue and as of the latest Yoast version there should be no issues!
Hello, I have the last one (Version 4.1). I have gone further in my tests and it is actually YOAST (last Version 4.1) + WPML String Translation (last Version 2.0.1) that create this conflict with the theme (last Version: 1.7.1).
The latest version of WPML String Translation is v126.96.36.199 – that is likely your issue!

Please try disabling any other plugins you have active – there may be something that is causing that issue outside of the theme.
Have you tried updating Revolution Slider through Appearance > Install Plugins?
