I fixed that over.
I just had to wait a time
The theme does not include contact form.
What is the best option that suits your theme?
Thanks for getting in touch!
Contact form 7 is probably the easiest option.
Ok! is what I have installed … Thank you!
i use quform with the theme and am very happy.
me something unexpected happens …
I have installed the template and all good, (like very much) but … When I “registered” is displayed with the specified font and I have not changed and when I leave the record is changed?? ....
How do I fix this?
Hi there Jose,
I’m not 100% clear as to what issue you are describing here. Can you send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and describe it in more detail with screenshots?
Ok, I will try to be more specific in the email.
What plugin recommended and fits the “blog” of your template?
In Woocomerce I have enabled social networking products, but I also like to have it in the blog posts.
The blog template is included with the theme Make sure you checkout the docs.
Not sure if you mean you want to add social sharing options etc. If so, I use Jetpack.
Hope this helps!
Correct. The template has blog, I misspoke, sorry.
I was looking for exactly the plugin you indicate, “Jetpack”.
Where do the “Widguet Customer Login”?
(Woocommerce widget_login widget)
Not sure what you mean? The login is core to WooCommerce – not specific to the theme.
Yes, I’m sure what I mean, so I’m not sure if it is properly expressed.
The login works and has serial Woocommerce and ok.
Widguet not find the logon as client to put it on the side of the store.
Username or email
for example: http://www.colombiangirljewelry.com/shop/
Thank you very much.
I see the widget and I can login no problem.
What is the issue?
The page shown is an example of what I want …
I want to put in mine that Widguet, but can not find …
ah I see – this is a WooCommerce issue – not a theme issue. WooCommerce removed the widget in the latest version.
Hope this helps,
Does this theme come with any video tutorials?
thanks for getting in touch!
No videos tuts at the moment, there is a detailed pdf manual suppled in the theme package
thx for the last update, I was surprised that even the safari hover bug was fixed … didn’t expect that! awesome support awesome theme!
another question please.
simple normal page, a shortcode button in small inserted.
whatever I do to the theme customizer, the color of the button never changes
did I miss sth?
yes looks like you got the update before I could get back to you to tell you the safari issue was fixed
If I recall correctly, the customizer is not hooked into the shortcode button colors yet – I’ll add it to the list for 1.5
thx and another one, that is more … well lets say critical …
[gallery columns=”4” ids=”771,769,770,772”]
normal wp gallery function in a post, doesn’t respect the columns
rgds and thx as usual,
Where is the demo data? I cant find the demo XML, please help me
Thanks for getting in touch!
Pop me an email to email@example.com and I’ll send you the demo xml
Hey guys! Loving the theme so far but just had a quick question.
in the demo, when you roll over a product it zooms in. By default when I upload a product the page only has a lightbox gallery option.
Am i missing a step here? Is this an additional plugin?
thanks for the great feedback!
You guessed right it’s an additional freely available plugin called Cloud Zoom.
Anyone can provide me the Theme Demo Content in XML?
drop me a line to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll send you the demo xml.
this theme only for iphone and ipad?
as @kmlsylmz suggested – the theme is a responsive theme that works on all devices (including desktop) and is not only for iPhone/iPad.
maybe you missed my reply further up in the discussion.
does not work in posts.
the columns responds for 2 and 3 cols, but further on 3-5-6 cols does not work.
Sorry I did miss this – let me add that to my todo list
I cannot find anywhere to put Google Analytics code – can you tell me where to include this please?
Hey Lee – as @thewrath1 suggested – I would recommend using one of the many dedicated Google Analytics plugins – this is probably the best of the bunch
well either use a GA plugin, I am a rookie to WP, but for sure there is some
or put your code into the footer.php as it will be on all templates.
maybe consider a plugin that offers modality for analyze the shop separately?
it is a responsive design independent of a special device. it reacts on screen sizes and has touch hooks as far as I can see.
@thewrath1 – thanks for helping out @lee_penton and @kmlsylmz !
@thewrath1 thanks for taking the time to reply!
I asked the question as i was sure i had seen somewhere within the Proffet theme to put the tracking code as some other themes do but obviously not.
Ed, so sticking to the analytics subject – i know that there is an option to include GA within WooCommerce itself (Settings -> Integration Tab -> Google Analytics ID) – i know that this will track the ‘shop/cart’ side of things but how does using it this way integrate with the rest of the theme? ie, will it track pageviews etc on say the blog page which is not really a woocommerce page but a proffet/WP page?
My advice re: GA is as follows:
1.) Use a dedicated GA plugin rather than relying on adding it to the footer or relying solely on the WooCommerce GA integration.
2.) Switch on the WooCommerce GA integration but leave the:
“Add tracking code to your site’s footer. You don’t need to enable this if using a 3rd party analytics plugin.”
option – unticked.
activate the other 2 options re: ecommerce tracking and event tracking.
woo thats probbably where ya stomped over it … not in the theme though.
as it is woo settings I expect it to be woo pages only depending on the template.
but it is easy to check. just simply put it in the woo settings, make 2 pages, one with woo template an one with e.g.showcase template and check the source code for your analytics string. I 1m 99.9% sure it will who up some where in woo header footer area.
choose the plugin way and as mentioned earlier check for a plugin that handles products too.
my humble 2cents.
I stumble more and more over problems with child_theme plugin and altering templates and/or language files.
as I understood … rember beeing rookie in WP, it is my first site I am normalyy into typo3/drupal/ez-publish … a child theme is THEWAY to make modifications to plugins, languages, themes in order to have update compliancy.
that is a total mess and secret to me but I will sum this all up and come back with a bunch question
thanks again for assisting @lee_penton.
re: child theming. I hear what you’re saying
With ez-publish etc. they generally have a simple file override method which makes child theming a bit simpler. WordPress hooks take a bit of time to get into but it is generally worth it in the long run as it is definitely the way to go and can be very powerful.
I am having a little trouble getting my page to work correctly. It, will not display correctly, Take a look at www.Rankinsco.com
at first it worked with the demo content then once i made changes to the theme admin options it went blank like this.
is there a setting that I can change to get the page to display properly?
Just sent you a response to your email
I installed the theme and it was successfully installed but after adding pages and logo the homepage was now empty and only the logo and call us now are displaying. Please help me with this matter. Here’s my site http://hammondorgansale.com/newdesign/
Hi there Scapescoper,
Looks like my last comment didn’t make it through for some reason.
Shoot me an email to email@example.com with your details and I’ll help you out.
Noticed a bug,
Every time a User activates their account from user activation email it comes up with an error.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_cart_url() on a non-object in /.../.../.../proffet/woocommerce/config.php on line 105
Anyway site is going great with a 1000 products 30,000 hits and $70k of sales in 15 days. Thanks
Hi there Abfab,
Those are some amazing sales numbers! Well done!
I tried to re-create your activation issue on my demo site and couldn’t. So I also tried registering and activating an account on your site – I also didn’t re-create the issue. Could you send me detailed steps to re-create the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll take a look for you.
