Hey Filip,

Love the theme, I’m using it and have found only a very small issue. The site I’m using it for has a lot of Spanish, and there are some issues with the display of certain characters in the League Gothic font (Á, é, etc…)

I looked into it and it looks like you’re using a subset of this font. I went to FontSquirrel.com and downloaded the full Roman character set (not just the English subset) and replaced the files at “css/font/” with these 4 font files – fixed the problem perfectly.

Just thought I’d let you know in case you want to include this fix in later updates…

Cheers,

- Tim

Hello there,

You are right, League Gothic font doesn’t support too many glyphs. The Font Changing Guide is included with the Theme Documentation so I think that it won’t be a problem to anyone to change the font to any other they wish.

Thank you for your purchase and warm words! :)

All the best,
Filip

Hello – I just purchased the them and like what I see so far.

I hope you can help me.

Item #1:

I followed your instructions for importing the xml sample data – but I don’t have any slider images as you show on your sample page.

I have gone into the theme options and uploaded three photos in the slider and they are also not showing even though I can see them in the theme option.

I have the slider turned on.

Can you tell me what i am doing wrong.

Item #2:

How do I control the space above and below the logo – and how would I move the main menu down and put a phone number above the menu items?

url: www.nsightmedia.net

I will email you the login info

Thanks

Paul

Hello, i just purchased your theme. It is excellent.

Dziekuje :)

Hello Anastazja,

Thank you for your kind words and purchasing my theme, I truly appreciate it! :)

Pozdrawiam, Filip

I love the theme, very easy to install and set up. I am having a couple of small issues in that not all of my portfolio items:

1. Are not showing up when going to the portfolio page (only showing some even though all are categorized)

2. When you click on “Video” – only one will show up despite having two videos

3. When you click “Show all” a second time, no portfolio items show up.

Not sure how to adjust these, btu would appreciate some help! Thank you!

Hello Jake,

Thank you for letting me know about these. Seems like I missed them while updating the theme. Going to release a fix later this day.

However, here is a quick guide of how you can get it working immediately:

  1. In your Admin Dashboard, go to the Settings -> Reading menu and change the “Blog pages show at most” value.
  2. This will get fixed after doing the first step (the second video post is simply not being shown within the limited 10 posts)
  3. Open the template-portfolio.php file and change the title=”View all” part to title=”view-all”

Best Regards,
Filip

I’m having the same issue as jathompson06…It will only display 10 items, and make the rest invisible even to sorting. I tried to figure it out by making changes to the code, but nothing worked. I e-mailed him about it so I think it should be sorted out shortly….

Hello there,

Replied JaThompson06’s comment.

Dear Filip,

I have just purchased your theme and attempted the installation on Wordpress, which I have installed on a GoDaddy hosted website. Upon attempting to upload the zip file, I get the following message on completion…

Are you sure you want to do this?

Please try again.

This is all that appears on the screen and the theme is not installed. I reinstalled wordpress, but got the same error message. If you could have any idea what the problem might be, your help would be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Isaac Reed.

Hi Filip…..problem solved regarding previous post.

Uploaded via FTP and no problems !

Hello Isaac,

Thank you for purchasing my theme and I’m glad you got it working! :)

Hi Filip, I have one small problem at the moment…

On the home page at http://beckiereed.com/ you will notice there are two dividers at the bottom of the page (before the footer). I wonder if you could advice me on how to remove one of the dividers. Many thanks,

Isaac

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing my theme. :)

It is a divider that separates the content from the Footer Widget Area. Simply disable the ‘Footer Widget Area’ in the Theme Options -> Footer tab. :)

All the best,
Filip

Hi filip,

pls can you show me where to find that ‘homepage’ in the wordpress dashboard?

I’ve checked but couldn’t find anything like that on “Appearance ->>Editor->> Homepage”

Thanks

W.

Hello,

It is one of your blog pages: “Pages” -> “All Pages”. I’m guessing that you’ve imported the demo content so the page you are looking for is named ‘Homepage’.

Regards,
Filip

Hi FIlip,

Thankyou for replying to my last post. The footer widget is already disabled. The problem lies in the fact that I have no content on the home page, in the “homepage content area” so there is an unnecessary divider here. What is the best practice to remove the extra divider ? Many thanks !

Hi again,

Oh, excuse me.

The simplest way is to insert that big image as a normal content in the Homepage page instead of creating a Homepage Custom Area.

Best Regards,
Filip

Problem Solved… I added the homepage image in the page “homepage” settigns rather than the “below slider content box”. Lovely !!!

Woops, was a bit late. Great job!

All the best,
Filip

Hi Filip,

I’m using WP version 3.2.1 and once i go to “homepage” purity theme editor I don’t have a option to remove “Why choose Purity?” section from the homepage. Can you help me with that?

Thanks, Robert

Hello Robert,

The ‘Why choose Purity’ section is just a ‘Home’ page content as you put on any other custom page. Go to ‘Pages’ -> ‘All Pages’ menu, find the ‘Home’ page and edit it as you wish.

Regards,
Filip

Hey Filip,

I just set up your theme at http://www.petersimonmusic.com/music. I’d like to use the dark version of your theme, but when I choose it in the settings, it doesn’t change to the dark version. Do you know what may be the problem?

Thank you,

Sarah.

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing my theme! :)

This bug was fixed by the latest update. Please change your /css/skins/dark.css file name to Dark.css (note the capital).

Regards,
Filip

Thank you Filip,

I love the theme! It’s working beautifully. Thanks so much for the info and the speedy response.

Hi Filip,

Is there a way to resize the left side page side bar ?

I really need to make it smaller. I tried editing the css but failed miserably. Again, your help would be very much appreciated, as I really am stuck this time ! Sorry to be a pain.

Thank you,

Isaac

Hello Isaac,

If you reduce the width of the sidebar you will also need to increase the width of the content area.

Firstly, open the style.css file.

Sidebar width: rule named ”.sidebar” and it’s ‘width:198px;’ attribute.

Content width: rule named ”.content” and it’s ‘width:662px;’ attribute.

So let’s say that you want to reduce the sidebar width to 150px. Just set the .sidebar width to 150px and the .content width to 712px.

All the best,
Filip

Hello :D

I just purchased and liked this theme.

But I have a problem now.

I wanna change the logo size. I tried to change it, But I couldn’t….. :(

Actually, I use the wordpress first time, so I don’t know well.

I’d already looked about “style.css” files but it’s so hard for me to fix it…. Can you help me this?

Thank you.

aiden.

Hello Aiden,

Thank you for purchasing my theme! :)

The logo section automatically adjust it’s size to the size of the image uploaded as the logo. So if you want to have a smaller logo, upload a smaller image.

You may always change it manually through css by adding this line to your style.css or custom.css file:

header .logo a img { width:100px; height:30px; }

If you want to set just one of the attributes above (i.e. only width), just remove the other one (in our example height).

Best Regards,
Filip

Hi, I purchased for the theme and installed. however i have problems to show correctly gallery and blog thumbs in the homepage and the Gallery page (Galeria) seems to not word properly.

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing my theme!

Did you make any changes to the template-home.php file? Because it looks like there is a missing division with a class of ‘clear’ below the Recent Posts section.

I may also see that not all of your files are updated. Please download the latest .zip file and update them.

You may always send me your WP login information through my Profile Page so I could debug it for you.

Best Regards, Filip

Great Tauris! solved the same day. Sorry for not giving feedback for days, I was really busy but the theme is working perfectly! thank you a lot for your fast and useful help.

Hi

I was wondering if there was a way to change the order of the portfolio items?

thanks

si

Also

How can I create more than 1 portfolio?

Also Portfolio categories do not work correctly

I tried the mentioned fix but that did not work here is the php code:

<?php if(!get_option_tree('filter_disabled')){ ?>

thanks

Hello,

Thank you for purchasing my theme. :)

Let me answer all of your questions in one comment:

  1. All you need to do is to change the date they were added (‘Publish’ window on the right while editing the Portfolio Post).
  2. That would need a bit more tweaking in the code. Send me a message through my Profile Page if you are interested.
  3. Could you please be more specific? What exactly is not working?May I see your website URL ?

Best Regards,
Filip
