How customizable is the home page? Can all the elements be changed? Example: Can the logo/header be below a full width pic.

Thank you for your interest in the theme. All the elements except for the header part (where the logo and menu reside) can be move to any position you want. The homepage is controlled using widgets.

To answer your question, yes it’s doable but a bit tricky and will require minor changes to the theme files.

Beautiful Theme! Awesome! GLWS :)

Thanks mate!

Just wanted to say I love the layout of the theme. Defiantly putting money aside to get this. I know its meant for a wedding theme but is it possible to change it to use as a simple blogging theme?

How is the layout of the home page managed and can the footer be changed to add more elements to it like twitter and instagram posts?

also the slider on the home page, can that be the revolution slider?

It can also be use for blogging purpose, there are 2 blog layouts available that you can set as the homepage.

The homepage is fully-widgetized but right now there’s only one widget area in the homepage, we plan to add more widget area to in the next version.

As long as Revolution Slider plugin comes with widget it’s doable without have to touch the theme codes.

Beautiful work. Good luck with sales!

Congratulations Great work. Selamat yah Mas Andra Yogi, semoga temanya laris manis :)

Congrats om… GOoD LucK wIth S@les :)

Good looking theme! Well done!

Nice Theme. Good luck :)

looks so beautiful theme, good luck :)

Hi I recently bought the theme and am having a bit of trouble setting up the gallery. The documentation says simply “To upload the images click on “Add Media” button, you can as many images you like and there’s no limitation to the image size as long as the size is bigger than 330×220 pixel. Once the images are successfully uploaded, close the Insert Media popup box.”

Which doesn’t make sense. I’ve done this several ways and each and every time I can’t get the gallery to appear properly. I’d really rather not dive into the custom code to try and fix this. Do you guys have a solution? Am I suppose to use a shortcode?

Hi, thank you for purchasing Qaween.

Which part of the sentence doesn’t make sense to you? In the documentation, below the above sentence there’s a small note:

Note: Remember, don’t insert the images into the post or create a gallery from the Insert Media box. The theme will automatically display the images uploaded to the gallery item.

So, there’s no need to insert a shortcode at all to display the gallery images, the theme will display them automatically for you.

I’m so sorry! I didn’t read the “note” part. Is there any way to add the image caption so I can credit the pictures? Didn’t mean to sound like I was criticizing!

Hi, no worries mate.

To add the caption open /qaween/single-gallery.php then find this code:

$other_large_image_url = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $attachment->ID, 'large' );

Below the code, add this:

$image_title = $attachment->post_title;

Then change this:

<a href="<?php echo $image['large']; ?>"><img src="<?php echo $image['thumb']; ?>" alt="" class="gallery-thumb" /></a>

to this:

<a href="<?php echo $image['large']; ?>"><img src="<?php echo $image['thumb']; ?>" alt="" class="gallery-thumb" /></a> <p><?php echo $image_title; ?></p>

You will need to add extra CSS styling to make the caption look good though.

How can I access the homepage other than edit it in PHP. I went to widgets, but sadly when I add them, they only go to the side bar of the homepage, below the blog posts and to the lower right. I have tested many times putting the widgets in both drop downs to no luck. Please help. Thanks

Hi, thank you for purchasing Qaween theme.

Looks like you haven’t setup the home page. Please refer to page 12 of the documentation file, the section is called “Setting Up the Homepage”.

If you like theme theme, please rate it from ThemeForest Download page.

Great. Got it all working now. One last question, how did you put images behind the countdown clock, RSVP and other areas on the homepage?

You just need to go to WordPress Dashboard > Theme Options > Colors. There should be options there to upload background image for the sections you were referring.

How do you edit the content “What you are about to see is real; the litigants on the screen are not actors. They are genuine citizens who, having filed their claims in a real small claims court, have been persuaded to drop their suits there and have them settled here, in this forum… the People’s Court.” in the RSVP section?

It looks like you can only edit this through the PHP widget file, is that correct?

So sorry about that. we forgot to make the text in RSVP widget editable. We’ll release a patch today.

Hi I just purchased the theme. I would like to localize the english text into polish language. Is it possible (the theme description says ” Localized Translations”), could you please help me by explaining how to do it? Thx!

Hi, thank you for purchasing our theme.

I will try to check the theme using Codestyling Localization plugin.

can you tell me how to enable the new translation once I create a new file based on en_US.po file?

Here’s a complete tutorial to translate a theme

Hi, I just purchased your theme.

I have the same problem than Werdmann.

I need to translate the content of some widgets, RSVP, Countdown…

Where I can find the texts to be replaced by another language?

Best regards.

You can create a new language file based on the en_US.po file under /qaween/lang/ folder

I solved it editing the php files. Thanks!

No problem.

hi efeuve – can you tell me which files did you edit?

Hi werdmann,

All widget files are located in /qaween/includes/widgets/ folder

small question about the form (attending form). I’d like the options (part of the day you’re invited to – is a partner ‘allowed’ or not) to appear to be based on the name that’s filled in. Are there any plans to foresee this feature?

You mean like adding a new field where you write down your guest name? We’ll take it into consideration on the next version.

yes, in the back end you fill in who is invited, for what part of the day, with plus one or not. When the visitors come to your site to rsvp, they fill in their name and then the options appear that you’ve selected for them

Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll see what we can do to add a new field to the RSVP widget on the next version.

My responsive menu is not working? Is there a fix you give?

Did you install any 3rd party plugin other than the one bundled with the theme? You can try to deactivate all of them one by one to see if any of them caused the issue.

I got it working – seems it must have been something I did. But, another theme issue is that the titles “years, months, days, etc.” in the countdown run together on mobile and are unreadable.

Hi Austin,

Glad you managed to sort it out. Regarding the countdown on small screen that’s the issue that we still finding the best possible solution.
