How to upgrade the theme when new update comes out?

Shopify is pretty much limited when it comes to theme updates (among other things). You can try saving your settings as your custom Preset and before upload, copy all your images from assets folder of the current theme you have, to our new theme, before uploading (Shopify just override default theme images with the image you upload so they have a same name). Otherwise you would need to upload home, slider, banner and parallax images again.

If saving Presets do not work well after major theme update, you may need to go and set the things in our theme Customize again.

Here is an official tutorial so you can understand more clearly. At the bottom there is also a a paragraph with title “Is there anyway to avoid re-customizing my theme from scratch?” Our tip: you can open theme customize of your current version in one browser tab, and then open the theme customize of the new unpublished theme (the new one with updates that you just uploaded) in the second tab and then check the settings and copy paste text etc. Once done you can preview new theme (small eye icon next to unpublished theme) and see how it looks before going live with it.

Can I turn off hover on images, quick view, hide buttons etc?

Yes, you can turn off almost anything you see on the pages (block and their behaviors) in ‘Theme Customize’.

If you do not have a control over some element which you would like to change, our support is available for help.

Can this theme be used for any shop and not just fashion?

Of course, you can use Qrack theme for ANY type of stores, simply set up your products and images.

What is the exact slideshow image size?

Slider images are actually background css images. So if you make them wide enough they will cover the whole page width. You can create 1980×600px image to make it show nice on widescreen monitors. But the main site width is 1170px so do not make the main section whit info or some text wider than that.

To make it look good on tablets and mobile phones as well, we suggest keeping that middle section of your design/image even smaller in the middle, if it have some text that you want customers to see.
