Hi, is it possible to set a link to a portfolio category? Thank you

Before I purchase this theme. I want to know if I can create multiple filters on the folio page and sort them? Example. I have a company that does construction. I would like to take a project with the type of construction and the location. Then on the folio page give the option for people to select a location or select the construction type. Can this be done?

Let me explain this a litter better. I need to create a photo gallery for each job we do.Each gallery I need to be able to take it with the location of the job and the type of job it is. Then I need a page that will pull all of those galleries on one page and have 2 filters our customers can sort from. By location and by job type. We currently have this on our current site. but the plugin we are using is very old and the developer no longer supports it. It doesn’t work in Wordpress 5, so part of the reason we are looking to do a new site.

VISUAL COMPOSER COMPATIBILITY FIX:

For those who want to use Visual Composer and cannot get portfolio and or filter options working it seems this theme uses an ISOTOPE.js snippet which is no longer included in Isotope v2.

To get your theme compatible just go to /wp-content/themes/Raleigh/JS/custom.js

Then remove the snippet below.

Don’t remove the FILTER portion like I did. This will cause the filter options to not work with the portfolio drop down on the front end.

$('.isotope').isotope({
    resizable: 'false',
    itemSelector: '.isotope-item',
    masonry: {
        columnWidth: colW()
    }
});
function colW() {
    var colN;
    if ($('.isotope').hasClass('isotope-1')) {
        colN = 1;
    } else if ($('.isotope').hasClass('isotope-2')) {
        colN = 2;
    } else if ($('.isotope').hasClass('isotope-3')) {
        colN = 3;
    } else {
        colN = 4;
    }
    var colW = Math.floor($('.isotope').width() / colN);
    $('.isotope').find('.isotope-item').each(function() {
        $(this).css({
            width: colW
        });
    });
    return colW;
}
$(window).smartresize(function(){
    $('.isotope').isotope({
        masonry: {
            columnWidth: colW()
        }
    });
});

Anyone found a way to make the portfolio filter work but not as dropdown but as actual menu?
