Great theme, very good job.
I have purchased this theme.I have a problem an image in info.
How to display text on image on mouseover ?
How do I solve this?
Hi there! Well, something in the lines of this should work:
<div class="one_fourth"> <div class="profile-pic" style="background: none;"> <a href="#"><img src="images/dummy-images/member.png" alt="Brandon Hall"></a> <span style="position:absolute;top:10px;bottom:10px;left:10px;right:10px; z-index: -1;">Text</span> </div> <div class="profile"> <h6><a href="#">Brandon Hall</a></h6> <p>Creative Director</p> </div> <p><a href="#" class="fa fa-twitter social-fa"></a><a href="#" class="fa fa-linkedin social-fa"></a></p> </div>
Basically removing the .profile-pic background and creating a span that has position: absolute and z-index: -1. If you want the background color back you should set it for the span and not for the .profile-pic div.
Thanks for the fast response.
regarding the grid layout. is it possible to embedded 4-column into a two-column? i’m using a 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4 structure and would like to insert a 1/4+1/4+1/4+1/4 with in the 1/2. does that make sense?
Sure, this should be your structure:
<div class="one_fourth column-last"></div>
<div class="one_fourth column-last"></div>
Responsive menu has not been closed (minimized) when we press a menu link… How can i fix it?
1. So you’re saying that after you press a menu item it loads the page you requested and meanwhile the menu is still open?
2. On what device, operating system and browser are you having this issue?
I thought that i miss explained myself. That’s my fault fault, sorry…
I am using colorbox script for opening outsource html’s as lightboxes on my page by using menu links…
But responsive menu still stays open after i open a menu link. How can i handle this?
Can you send me a personal message with a link to your website (if you have it uploaded online)?
I try to do a return link to portfolio.html with the last active filter on (from a project.html file). Do you think it is possible on chrome. I found an easy encoding solution for FF – window.history.go(1). This solution don’t works on Chrome..
Hi! I haven’t implemented this in Reactor but I think this article is a good starting point for what you’re trying to achieve – designlunatic.com/demos/isotopehashhistory/.
The latter is actually just the demo. Here’s the article itself – link.
is there a way to combine any of the of the stylesheets to increase loading speed?
Yes, you have to copy everything from responsive.css and your color scheme of choice .css file (+ jquery.vegas.css and prettyPhoto.css if you intend on utilizing the intro page or the prettyPhoto lightbox) and paste it inside the style.css file. You also have to remove the stylesheet references to those files inside every page template (the refs are in the head section).
Awesome! Thanks for the fast response.
Hi I bought this theme today it look promising but as soon as i loaded all the files on the server and try to access the page there is an immediate download and nothing shows up on the page. Can you let me know what you think this might be. I literally unzipped and dragged and dropped the html template on my server. I am using it does the same thing in other browsers. A download initiates as soon as you access the desired domain!
Hi, VesperDesign. First of all this is a template and not a theme as you’ve mentioned in the beginning. As for the issue you’re referring to, I can only guess that the files haven’t been uploaded correctly for some reason. Have you uploaded only the content inside the “reactor” directory?
hey yes thank you for your quick reply and i have to apologize, i removed the htaccess and its now working from the root directory. I do have one question however i am trying to change the font where would i need to go to do that in the files provided?
in responsive css???
You should check out style.css for that purpose.
So, Reactor is a template, not a wordpress theme – is there a theme implementation of it? #prepurchasequestion
Currently there’s only a template version.
Hi there, I’ve been using this templete for my website for almost two years, and I’m doing some changes to it. I’m having problems trying to change (remove) the color (blue in my case) at PORTFOLIO.HTML when the cursor passes over an image, I would like it to be transparent (no color). Hope you can help me. Thanks
Go to the css directory, open the reactor-blue.css file and replace every instance of #52c0bf with #f2f2f2. Hope that helps!
thanks for your attention, I replaced that instance but It didn’t work, this is my page:
now I turns white, I want to remove the color overlay when the cursor passes over the image. thanks
I see you’ve done some modifications to the hover mechanic of the portfolio items. You basically want the san00.jpg to fade out and the san001.jpg to fade in? Please, correct me if I’m wrong.
If that’s the case – go to the js directory, open the image-fade.js file, find this line of code…
...and change the 0.06 value to 1. You can experiment with values between 0-1.
Also if this doesn’t work for you, try replacing all the #52c0bf values with transparent in the reactor-blue.css file.
you got it!! now it’s working just like I wanted to, thank you so much, I appreciate it.
Hi! On iPhone 6 in horizontal mode, when I open the menu, the text in the menu is shaking and never stop shaking. Could you please let me know if there is a way to fix it? Thanks in advance!
