Does the theme support multiple images inside a single portfolio page?
What about the blog? Can I create a post with a gallery of photos in it?
The answer is yes to both. If you add multiple images to a portfolio then a slider will appear. You can also include galleries inside a blog and their relevant thumbnails will be listed next to each other.

Another question yes.. I am planning to integrate a company Facebook page content in the blog. I can take care of reading the content from the post and build an XML exchange format out of it but do you think there’s a way for your theme to parse the XML and format it as blog posts including support for photos and gallery?
Maybe our Social Commerce plugin would help? Even though it is intended for eCommerce you can use it as a ‘normal’ feed for blog posts and static pages:
Does your theme include a membership/subscription type system?
If you activate the eCommerce element of the theme then yes it does.
I am having a similar issue as an earlier poster where the product image does not fill the container and the shop buttons are totally different from the demo. It seems to me like a stylesheet or browser issue but I haven’t edited anything and I’ve tested two. Please advise.
This may be because you have the default WooCommerce styling switched on.

Once you are registered you will be redirected to your profile where you will need to enter your Purchase Code.
To get your purchase code you need to login to ThemeForest and go to the “Downloads” tab, you will see a ‘Download’ button next to the theme you purchased. Click this button and a drop-down will appear with a link to your “License Certificate”. The .txt file in that download contains your “Item Purchase Code” which you can then use to login to the Obox forums.

I keep coming back to this theme because of its clean lines and great UX details but I have a few more pre-purchase questions:
1) Are there limits to the number of images each portfolio can contain or does that just apply to the homepage? (I would be using the theme mainly for photography and artwork and could potentially have dozens and dozens of images within a single portfolio.)
2) Is it possible to adjust the margins for single portfolio item pages? I’d include many vertical images and would like the full image to fit on the screen without having to scroll down.
3) If there’s more than one image on a portfolio item page or in a blog post, will it convert to a slider similar to the one in your “Personal” theme? (I love that it zooms back to the first image.)
4) Is it possible to change the fonts without there being negative repercussions on the look/functioning of the theme?
Firstly, thank you for your kind words about Retail Therapy
To answer your questions:
1) There is no limit to the amount of images you can add to one portfolio item.
2) This is possible but would require a bit of custom css to be applied – we can guide you in the right direction though.
3) Yes, if a portfolio item has more than one image then it will automatically convert into a slider.
4) You can change the fonts using our typography manager but just be careful, each font has it’s own characteristics when it comes to line-heights and sizes. I cannot guarantee that the fonts will be perfect straight away but the spacing and alignment of the theme will remain in tact.
I realize this would require customization but do you think the theme would be able to handle adding a masonry gallery option? (Would you have a recommendation for someone who knows your themes?)
P.S. I keep forgetting to compliment you on the original image you had on the homepage (the one that’s still visible in the screenshots).
I also liked that original image! Some of our potential customers thought it was too much of a juxtaposition though… so we changed it.

Judging by the amount of bad fashion photography/contrived images that help sell other themes, I wasn’t surprised when you changed it—perhaps a bit too niche for here
The other images on Retail Therapy are great, too, but I really loved that first one.

Would this theme support the ability to add a portfolio filter plugin such as isotope? Looking for the ability to click the links in the portfolio; illustrations, posters, all etc and have them shuffle themselves on the page to show the associated images with that tag.
Adding the isotope effect to the portfolio would require custom coding as the portfolio page is currently designed to click through to each portfolio category.

I purchased this template and am hoping to figure out the fonts used so I can match up my other documents to match the look, where do I find the fonts used??

I am now following your guide on how to install this template and you ask us to go to Appearance > Themes > and then to click on the install themes tab. Well that tab is no where to be found on the Themes screen I get when following you guide. Can you offer some clarification?
I also cannot for the life of me find my “ThemeForest purchase code” as I am being directed on your the Obox Themes site to get support there. Can you please clarify how I can get this license as well? I find the directions very poorly worded and not match file names that you are directing clients to look for.

I have gone into the downloads section multiple times and clicked the download button next to the theme as instructed, but it simply downloads a zip file, no drop down menu appears. I have downloaded the zip file 6 times, never has a drop down menu appeared. And within this zip file, I can find nowhere a “License Certificate” or an “Item Purchase Code”.
Again, I need directions on how to register get this “Licence Certificate” and / or “Item Purchase Code” so I can then go through the process of registering, just to get simple support for this product.
And as a customer trying to get support, this whole process is quite frustrating and ridiculous. I shouldn’t be waiting DAYS just to get ACCESS to possible support.

It may be that you are on a WordPress Multi-site installation – in which case only the administrator can add/upload new themes to your dashboard.
I’ve now had to post a ticket with Themeforest, and they haven’t contacted me. Is there anyway you can forward me an “item purchase code”? You can see that I have purchased this theme beside my name in the post? This is going on 48 hours or no support and customer run around. I am becoming more and more dissatisfied with this process, and don’t understand how you as the theme provider have not tried to resolve this. I guess I will just have to keep posting here in the public comments hoping that one of these two companies will actually support the products they produce or sell.
I am trying my best to help but can only do so via Obox. Unfortunately I have no control over the Themeforest issues and I cannot provide you with your purchase code as its unique to your purchase.
Have you tried logging into Themeforest with a different browser? Such as Firefox or Chrome?
Did you manage to find out if you were on a WordPress multi-site install?
No I haven’t tried logging in with a different browser, will do.
And actually there is something you can do with Themeforest, you can contact them to represent your customer who is struggling to properly access what they have purchased from them, as they represent your company. You can also simply as your site staff to register me so I can go get support which would also fast forward this process.
As for the WordPress issue, after waiting to get support I finally explored the issues, worked with my domain provider and hosting to sort out why I could do what was asked of me in your user guide. I can now post, but have multiple issues with the slider, products, etc. But alas can’t get support for any issues so from from your company, so I will probably be forced to just work through them at a snails pace while erroding any excitement I had about purchasing this theme. I love it, think it is great, but can’t believe how difficult it has been to setup, how vague the user guide is, and how absent support solutions have been since I am locked out of help.
Not trying to be a jerk here, I am just trying to get honest help for a product I have purchased and should have access to. As I said, I love the theme but it is essentially useless to me without support.

I have a presale question. I want to remove the “Menu” button you have and just have a regular dropdown menu, can I change this easily?
1. I want to completely remove the dropdown menu provided and when going down on the page, I don’t want it to follow and overlap the information. I want to remove that, it can just be like a regular menu.
2. When clicking on the search box, I don’t want it to expand and replace the information like it does right now, I just want it to push the information to the right.
3. When looking in product detail, I don’t want the side bar items to be transparent until you move your cursor on top of it. I want it to be normal.
Can all of these be changed? I don’t need to use the Theme Options to do these changes, I am capable of coding CSS and HTML. I just need to know where to look.
1) Yes there is a setting in the theme which allows you to switch between a drop-down navigation or a regular in-line nav.
2) This is possible but will require some custom modifications – I’d suggest using of our Approved Modifiers http://www.obox-design.com/approved_modifiers.cfm / or we can guide you through it via the forums.
3) Yes this can be easily tweaked with one line of CSS, we can give you the lines to change.
Would it be possible to remove the ‘add to cart’ button in the shop page (quick shop?).

i guess this is the ‘turn off ecommerce’. I want the slug ‘shop’ to be changed in ‘catalogus’. I have managed to cheat this by translating it to ‘catalogus’, but the link still goes to /shop (which i do not want in catalog mode)

Great theme – do you have the option not to use the slider on the homepage? or would that require editing the theme itself?
The slider is not a requirement. Because it is a widget you can leave it out without having to touch any code.

With regards to the color options, there is a visual color customizer which you can use to change the background color to anything you like.

I am just beginning to work with your theme: so far so good. I have hit a wall here though. The title of the site is a brown color on mouse over. I have gone into the customization panel and removed ALL brown, yet it is still brown on hover. Please explain specifically where I can change that mouse over color, as it must not be in that panel. Thank you!
Additionally, the mouse over color in the contact header is black and in the area where it set the background for the contact header, there isn’t an option to change that either. As I have the background there black, it “disappears” on mouseover. Did I miss the area to edit this as well or…?
Is it possible to change the search, social, mail icons in the contact header to black or white…?
