A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

It can happen when you use wordpress version 5+ Please re-upload files:

Since version 2.0 you will be able to see in your wordpress dashboard that a new version is available. In order to make it work, you need to enter your themeforest profile nickname and API key to proper fields in Appearance=>Theme options=>Backup options. You can find API key by visiting your Envato Account page, then clicking My Settings tab. At the bottom of the page you will find your account’s API key.

To update the theme please: - download the package with the latest version from themeforest; - remove the previous version; - install the new version using downloaded package.

!PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IF YOU CHANGE ANY FILES IN THE THEME, THE CHANGES WILL BE LOST AFTER UPDATE. THAT IS WHY WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING CHILD THEME!
