Hello, My theme version within wordpress shows the latest at 1.6. However, the revolution slider is still the very old version? If it comes bundled with the theme, then why is it even giving the option to buy the license? How do i get the bundled plugins to update. Not the manual ones but the ones that should automatically update with the Envato Market plugin?

The popup notice i’m refering to says- “Help make slider revolution better” – it’s above approving the sharing of data to them. However, it doesn’t close or come off the screen when you accept or reject it. a message just pops up when you click saying Ajax error!!! error. I did download the theme again and extracted the slider and uploaded it..version 6.6.11. It seems latest is supposed to be 6.618 though. But not sure why the popup wont close- is it a memory issue or the popup or older version being an issue?
Basically i can’t access the sliders to edit them because that notice popup won’t close. it’s on the overview page
Also I tried to login to support again and it wont work. i tried to reset my password and it won’t email be a link as it says to reset. it doesn’t say i made an error.. it just doesn’t process the info i enter

On the Jacobs demo, it shows who the author is on each post of the home page (Anna green) but on the McQueen demo, it does not. is there a way on the Mcqueen demo to add the author to each post that displays? Also can I turn off the date and comments as well?

Hello! I am updating my clients site, and they have the purchase code and info for the theme but they no longer talk to previous developer. He provided them with the PDF that shows the purchase code etc. I need the theme files as he did not make child theme and i need to update everything carefully.

HI I contacted him and he says he no longer has access, as he is now a real estate agent! I have the License Certificate with the purchase code and the name and everything. Where can we go to verify this? The site has not been updated in 5 years.

As we already mentioned you can only access the latest theme files though the Envato account from which it was purchased, so perhaps best practice would be to purchase the theme. That way you will have access to all the theme updates that are released.

There is a new version (6.6.14) of Slider Revolution available. To update directly register your license key now or purchase a new license key to access all premium features. (I think the theme is updated through the envato app so why is the slider not updated with it as you said)

I just wanted to check if you guys were considering updating this them, as of now the theme no longer seems to be compatible with PHP 8 and the latest version fo wordpress. Rosyln news seems to break any pages where it’s blocks are being used. According to WPengine thee are the errors generated /wp-content/plugins/roslyn-news/modules/widgets/lib/widget-class.php’ /wp-content/plugins/roslyn-news/load.php:20\nStack trace:\n#0 /wp-content/plugins/roslyn-news/main.php(9): /wp-content/plugins/roslyn-news/load.php

If you are running latest WordPress version, please try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
Newer WordPress versions introduced block based widgets feature, so we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solution until we add compatibility with block based widgets. Also, if you’ve experienced some issues on PHP8 please try using PHP 7.4 until the update is released.

3 Major issues – 1. how do you change the desktop Roslyn logo, it is not in the rosolyn options section of the theme. 2. How do you change the background header image on pages and posts – it is not located in the Roslyn option theme. 3. Will you continue to support this theme because I get fatal errors with the widgets page. I cant use the old version of wordpress forever.

1. Please check the Page Options > Elated Logo, since those options override the global ones.
2. Also, check under Page Options > Elated Title > Background image.
3. Please note that we didn’t include compatibility for the latest WordPress version yet and we are working hard on adding it. You can try using Classic Widgets plugin as a temporary solution for those Widget errors you have.

It could be that different header and logo options are set on the page. Local page options will override global theme options and you can find more in this article – The Global And Local Settings Info And Troubleshooting.

Has the latest version of WordPress caused problems with this theme?
If we try to go to the Widgets page we just get a blank page. If we activate a default WP theme then the Widgets page shows.

This request shouldn’t be closed. I need you guys to update the theme for me. Something is causing issues with editing the widget area, making new posts, and sometimes using the slider.
