5 days after filing a bug report (ticket #3492 "Cannot import demo content", I'm very frustrated! My experience can be summed up as follows: Tech suport is really kind but the theme is not reliable.
I'm trying to setup an online shop with this theme so I hope you can understand my frustration - there's customer and investor money involved.
I simply can't build a reliable installation.
1. The data import doesn't work (see the ticket mentioned above)
2. Tech support got it somewhat right by trial and error and cannot explain it worked the one time it did. To his credit, he is willing to do it again if I need to reinstall but this kills my confidence in my system.
3. I cannot get a child theme to work and tech support was so kind as to allow me to include this in the same ticket above, but he also couldn't make it work and he hopes that the next update, coming out today, will solve this problem
I'm a software developer with 20 years experience and I've built countless WordPress sites in my lifetime, but I can't make this work. Is it possible to get a refund? I am desperate to go live, this hurdle is costing me money at this point. Please, please help me. I love the design, but I need reliability. I'm sorry for posting this here but I'm at the end of my rope. The design is awesome, the tech support guy (Vlad) is a hell of an awesome guy but I need a reliable installation. Pretty please refund me so that I start over or tell me what Vlad and I are doing wrong. I need to start trating.
