How can I use the font awesome 4.7 or even 5.x on this theme for the vertical menu?

You can use font awesome 5.x
None works, for example even on your demo I’ve tried: fas fa-car far fa-car fal fa-car None of each works. (theme forest does not let to place the html tag but each of these are the class for a “i” html tag) Only the brand ones works which are a small percentage.
