Congratulations, you have some great work! Wish you the best sales :)

Thank you :)

Does this include a footer area?

Hello – the footer has a widget area, primarily for a text widget so you can easily override my default content.

How do you turn off the Title from from appearing on the pages?

For the main heading title, you will either need to use css, modify the template or override it with child themes. – If you mean the page title tag, it’s in header.php and then filtered in libraries/filters.php where you see the note regarding wp_title()

Hi, I am working on this theme for my client who bought it. What would be the RSS feed URL? Just adding /feed/ at the end of his domain name isn’t working.

Don’t worry, I found it. I searched for ‘rss’ in the page source to find the feed address.

Hi again, I’ll be having a dual language version of the blogg via the plugin, with the base language for our Wordpress (back-end) and blogg in Swedish. Then we will add a version for the front-end in English via the plug in.

What do you suggest is the best way to translate Rudder into our ‘base’ language of Swedish?

Hey there – there’s quite a bit written on the subject (example, ) but the .mo/.po files are in the languages folder. You’ll also need to download that version of the language for your core WP installation as well.

Thanks. I have the .mo/.po files for the language, but just wondered how to implement the string changes in Rudder. I was working on another theme and the developer suggested I just work on the strings in the php files (of that theme).

It’s a bit of a maze, but I’m working through it.

If you have a find in files option in a text editor, you can search the files for:

to get most strings.

Thanks. That’s what I started doing. Then I encouraged my client to buy WPML a multi-language plugin. There they have an extra plugin that allows you to edit/translate the text strings in the back-end. Worked great. I could translate 99% of the strings I was using. Unfortunately, I could not get into one of the widgets from another plugin.

Thanks for your attention.

Hi, I am having a bit of difficulty integrating a plugin that allows for multi languages (WPML). Their support asked me to ask if you “use different function/call to display menu on mobiles other than default wordpress call?”

Here is the thread if you have the time to read it.

Ok, I’ll pass that info onto the plugin developer and see if we can work something out.

No worries about the delay.

(Here’s a note in case you are interested in the alteration that was used).

The developers of WPML changed the cudazi_alternate_menu code in functions to:

if ( ! function_exists( 'cudazi_alternate_menu' ) ) { function cudazi_alternate_menu( $args = array() ) { if ( has_nav_menu( 'primary' ) ) { $output = ''; // Defaults $menu_name = 'primary'; $display = 'select'; // Grab and apply args from function extract($args); if ( ( $locations = get_nav_menu_locations() ) && isset( $locations[ $menu_name ] ) ) { $menu = wp_get_nav_menu_object( $locations[ $menu_name ] ); $menu_items = wp_get_nav_menu_items( $menu->term_id ); $output = "<select id='navigation-small'>"; $output .= "<option value='' selected='selected'>" . __('Go to...', 'cudazi') . "</option>"; foreach ( (array) $menu_items as $key => $menu_item ) { $title = $menu_item->title; $url = $menu_item->url; if ( $menu_item->menu_item_parent ) { $title = ' - ' . $title; } $output .= "<option value='" . $url . "'>" . $title . '</option>'; } $languages = icl_get_languages('skip_missing=0&orderby=code'); if(!empty($languages)){ foreach($languages as $l){ $output .= "<option value='" . $l['url'] . "'>"; $output .= '<img src="'.$l['country_flag_url'].'" height="12" alt="'.$l['language_code'].'" width="18" /> '.$l['native_name']; $output .= '</option>'; } } $output .= '</select>'; } return $output; } // has menu } }

Sorry, don’t know why the code snippet thingys aren’t working.

I’m using the 3.6.1 version?wordpress?, but I can’t install, however I have already sent you the email.

Sorry for my delay, I replied to your message but just a reminder that the theme demo is using this version as well.

Hey there, as noted in the help, it’s in the social menu, check it out here:

Hello, Firstly, thank you for this beautiful theme.

I have a display problem on my mobile phone : the title of post exceeds.

At the same time: - It is possible to reduce the size of home page ? - It is possible to automatically resize header pictures of each post. - Just a last request : how to change the size of post’s title ?

Sorry for my english, I hope you can help me. Thanks sorry for my requirement.

Hello, to give some extra room on the titles, you can alter the font-size of ”#content h2”. You can also add a “word-wrap: break-word” CSS property to help out if you need it as well. Thanks!

Thanks ! and for change image’s post size ?

Please see the /libraries/featuredimages.php for modifying the theme image featured image sizes.

I tried to install this by uploading the zip file and got this response:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

I’ve very much loved your Open theme…

My mistake! I uploaded the incorrect file. All fixed now, carry on. :)

Sorry for the delay but thank you for the follow up, I’m very happy you were able to get this up and running. Be sure to follow the help file very closely. :)

Hi does this them have front page slide show function?

Hello! Not by default, but you’re welcome to add any slider plugins if you desire. :)

Hello…I’m having issues with the template that won’t resize when you open posts on a portrait version on a mobile phone, the header image and pics don’t resize. I asked for help on WordPress and they had this to say:

Hi I was looking to the code of the pixs and so on and resolution under 481px is not covered for responsive view. Contact Theme author to ask about this. It would be easier for him to do updates for that. For some reason there is held hard coded width 310px not responsive way.

I’m curious if there is anyway you can help me with this or offer any suggestions? Thanks so much!
