Hello, how can I make the product page look like shopify or amazon, left side sticky which consist image and gallery, in the right side the title, summary will be scrollable
global ? or child theme php custom or any other method ? Need urgent resolution
I am waiting for the response as the theme is my fav but fighting to sort the issue,
I want the left side product gallery to be sticky and right side summary to scroll same like amazon or shopify module …. Its working opposite while selecting left sticky in woo – single product …. unable to flip the function
Hey Emrannkhann,
The closest layouts we offer are Left Thumbnails + Sticky Product Info or 2 Column Images + Sticky Product Info, which you can assign in Salient Options > WooCommerce > Single Product. If you’d like a different gallery layout with a sticky sidebar that scrolls, it would require some custom modifications via your child theme.
Kind regards
You know what? Customisation is only needed for uncommon features. If Shopify is providing the same left-sticky thumbnail with right-side scroll layout just like Amazon, Flipkart, and other major eCommerce platforms then this should be taken as a serious note and included in future updates.
Regarding the customisation you mentioned, we’ve already reviewed each file thoroughly, line by line, and it’s still not working as expected.
Hey Emrannkhann, we’ve noted the idea on the wishlist.
Kind regards
Hello,
I wanted to know if there was a way to add icons to the list of available icons? I would like to add the Deezer icon https://fontawesome.com/icons/deezer?f=brands&s=solid
Thanks in advance.
Hey MAJMonaco,
We don’t have a built-in way to append icons into the existing sets, but I’ve noted the idea. In the meantime, I would recommend using the Image element or CSS to add your icon where needed.

Hello, how can I change an appearance of blog archive for specific category? I want to add something custom (different appearance of the post results + some additional elements). General settings in blog tab are definitely too limited to us. I tried to achieve them by using Global settings but I probably did something wrong. It’s so important to us. We will be really grateful for your help.
Okay, I achieved them by using Global Sections => Post Loop Builder. Nice!
I’m glad you found what you were looking for, CreativePlace
Hey! Wondering if it’s possible to have scribble highlight behind text like this example? https://chrisgrenier.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Screenshot-2025-11-07-at-11.54.49-AM.png
Thanks!
Hey svtmuscle!
We currently don’t offer a scribble design similar to that, but I’ve noted the idea

Hi TN team,
Just wondering if there’s any simple way to have the main menu background (‘Contained’ Header Size) to be slightly transparent until hover over, after which it becomes opaque?
Many thanks in advance!
Hey ND81!
That would require some custom CSS. If you can share your URL so I can see your existing settings, I’d be happy to provide a snippet.
Kind regards
Thank you as always! I’ll DM you the link now
Thanks ND81!
You can make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
https://pastebin.com/rvFnue99Kind regards
Thank you so much!
You’re welcome, ND81
One more thing – just in testing – when there’s a sub-menu, that disappears slower than the transparency reinstates when hovering off. Would there be a way to adjust the timing of when the sub menu disappears after you hover off the menu?
Hey ND81, not with CSS alone, I’m afraid, since that event is triggered by JavaScript.
Got ya – is there a way to alternatively smooth the fade out transition on hover off for the sub-menu, rather than abruptly dissappear?
Hey dimage,
That’s what I was actually referring to in my last message. Unfortunately it’s not simple to alter the behavior of how to submenu disappears with CSS due to the delay imposed by JS.
Hello!
Is there any way to use WPBakery for product categories and tags in WooCommerce?
Hey erickbadanai!
As of now, there’s np built-in way to design those archive pages fully using the page builder. However, you can insert a section above the automatically generated content using the Global Sections.
Kind regards
Thanks for the feedback. I did that, but it breaks the layout (Example: FAQ Accordion). It gives the impression that it doesn’t load all the necessary CSS/JS files.
Hey erickbadanai,
I haven’t been able to replicate that yet locally. Are you using the “Before Shop Loop” Display Location? If so, can please reach out via the contact form on my author page with the URL so that we can take a look.
Kind regards
Please check my homepage. https://ageimmune.com/
When you scroll down the page, there is a “The Latest From Our Corner Of News” section. As you can see, the blog titles are in dark blue colors. I would like to change them to white, so they are visible. Actually, I noted the same problem when I was adding the text with a hyperlink to any dark section, I had to change it into white, but at least that option was available in the text block.
Thank you
Hey atlantchiropractic,
You can make that change by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
https://pastebin.com/N9aiN5gTKind regards
It worked. Thank you.
You’re welcome, atlantchiropractic
Hi, Would it be possible to expand the Salient Social share options to include Instagram, WhatsApp & Copy link? Keep up the excellent work! Thanks Andrew
Hey Andrew!
As of now there’s no plans for that, but I’ve noted the idea on the wishlist

Version 18 ETA?
Hey MrMcMuffin,
We’re aiming for the end of next week
Kind regards
Same here, thank you for this AMAZING theme. Using it for sooo many years now. Can’t wait for V18.
Really appreciate that, rockzi! It means a lot to hear you’ve still been enjoying Salient.
Cheers!
It’s the best WordPress theme in the universe. I’ve been using it for over 13 years! Can’t wait for the new version! Thank you so much.
Hey isiscomunicacio! Thanks so much for the kind words. We’re excited to share it with you all as well — not too much longer now!
Cheers
First, I want to say this is an amazing theme. I’ve been really impressed with Salient overall. However, I’m running into a persistent issue with the Post Loop Builder when using the Post Type → Page option.
When I set Post Type = Page and try to use the Narrow Data Source field to target a specific parent page or a group of child pages, the query doesn’t seem to respect the selection. Instead, it defaults to displaying every page on the site, regardless of hierarchy or chosen filters.
Ideally, I’d like to use the Post Loop Builder to show only the child pages of a specific parent page (for example, my “Service” parent page and its child service pages), or at least filter by selected pages in the Narrow Data Source field.
Is this a known limitation or a bug, or am I missing a step in the setup process? Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated!
Hey kailonkk,
Thanks so much for the kind words!
The Post Loop Builder is currently limited to using taxonomies for querying when a custom data source is selected. It does not yet support selecting specific groups of pages to display. This limitation stems from the functionality provided by WPBakery in its current release. However, I’ve noted this idea to explore whether we can extend this capability on our end.
Kind regards
Okay, I understand. Thank you for responding. Is there an element or salient template alternative to the “Post Loop Builder – Parallax”? I am looking for something to build one with similar features/style that could be linked to pages.
Hey kailonkk,
Could you please share the URL of the Post Loop Builder instance that you’re attempting to replicate using other elements, so I can ensure I know what you’re referring to?
Kind regards
Hi, what hosting features are needed for Salient to function at its full potential?
Hey chidorro,
Salient doesn’t require any special hosting setup beyond the standard WordPress requirements. As long as your hosting meets the core WordPress server specs (PHP, MySQL, etc.), Salient will run at its full potential.
You can find the detailed list of recommended PHP and server requirements here in our docs.
Kind regards
I would like to know if Salient has any plans to add support for Pinterest buttons natively. I’m looking for something like a small box added on corners of specific classes of images (for example, in blog posts and in the projects galleries). Currently some plugins work more or less but a more refined implementation in line with the theme’s design would be welcome. I wanted to know if it’s something you considered adding and if there’s a timeline so that I could plan my deployments accordingly.
Hey pavlovnapalka,
As of now, we don’t have planned development around further Pinterest integration outside of the existing functionality in the Salient Social plugin. However, I’ve noted the idea on the wishlist

“force transparency on navigation” on a single page does not work if in light mode. This forces to show the secondary logo and not the main logo.
Hey Eluvial, the Starting Logo is used when the theme is set to Light, and the Starting Logo Dark is used when it’s set to Dark. These logos are specified in the Salient Options Panel > Header Navigation > Transparent Header Effect tab.
If you’re seeing behavior different from this, please share the page URL so I can take a look and assist.
Yes I have been playing around with the light/dark and logos options, I wish to have the light menu on this page, but if I do that the logo will not switch to the white one once I trigger the off-canvas menu. In other words, I wish to have the header menus always in light mode, but the logo should switch from colour to white.
Hey Eluvial,
That page is showing that the Transparent Header Navigation Color is saved as “Dark”. If you have indeed saved it as Light, I would need to take a closer look at the full setup from the admin side to help troubleshoot further. Kindly open a ticket on the support forum in regards
Thanks in advance
Hi, I have a problem with the Element image gallery. I uploaded an image and when I tried to adjust the Gallery type, I couldn’t choose anything except Nectar Slider Style and Flickity Static Height Style. When I select it, it doesn’t show the image. And from what I see in the Gallery type, I have installed Salient Nectar Slider and Salient Portfolio and activated them. Now, what should I do with it?
Hey pansajang,
Since I can’t replicate that issue locally, could you kindly open a ticket on the support forum so that we can follow up?
Thanks in advance
Hi, if I buy the Salient theme and I don’t like it in the end, do I have a deadline to request a refund? thx
Hey chidorro,
You can read about the Refund Policy from Envato here: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy

Hi,
I want to have carousels of videos, pages and blogs stacked like this on a page.. Can you please suggest if there is a way to do it ?
https://postimg.cc/kVjCQJzSHey rivija,
You can use the Post Loop builder in carousel display mode to query blog posts.
For other static items, such as videos or page links, you can use the regular Carousel page builder element and add the desired elements inside to achieve the same effect. Set the overflow property to “Visible” to reveal items that extend beyond the container.
Kind regards
Dear Theme Nectar team,
One more question please: how can i change only the font – font size – font color of image gallery captions/titles Flickity Static Height Style on smartphone?
example (view on smartphone): https://paperdroplab.com
Thank you very much for your time and effort.
Hey ilias_lois!
Those will inherit from your “Heading 4” font size settings in the Salient options > Typography > General HTML Elements tab. The coloring will inherit from the “Overall Font Color” in the Salient options > General Settings > Styling tab.
Kind regards
Having an issue with the single image with hotspots in the latest version of salient. Once I add a few hotspots the editor starts loosing focus as soon as I try to change any setting in the element. This happens on both front end editor and backend editor and in chrome and safari browsers. Continuing to try to adjust the content randomly results in the page being saved with no content completely wiping out your page if you didn’t have revisions enabled. have not had time to fully troubleshoot on a fresh wp install but wanted to report in case you were able to reproduce easily. Try adding 7 hotspots and see if it starts glitching.
Hey veggie_89,
So far I haven’t been able to replicate it. Can you confirm that you have the “Auto save” option disabled in the WOBakery Page Builder > General Settings tab?
Kind regards
