The theme comes with the .xml file that allows to import the theme demo content to make your site look like our demo one. Please note, that images are not included in the demo content and are substituted with placeholders as according to our license we can’t redistribute them.
Premium Layer Slider and Slider Revolution plugins are included in the theme archive for free.
Events view on our demo site is achieved with help of the Events Calendar PRO plugin. The Events Calendar PRO plugin does not provide a license that would allow theme developers to redistribute it, and this plugin extension should be purchased separately by end users. Sure, the theme is compatible with the free plugin version also.

Please make sure to use the latest theme version that is available for download on Themeforest (1.1.3), there are no known issues with its functioning. Please update the theme and plugins and clear the cache, it should be helpful.
To update the theme please download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as salvation/salvation). I recommend you to rename the theme version you used previously (for example name the theme folder “salvation-old”), in such a case this theme version will be backed up at your server.

The current theme version (1.1.3) is available for download on Themeforest.
To update the theme please download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as salvation/salvation). Besides don’t forget to update plugins as it is noted on the WordPress admin panel after the theme is updated.
Sometimes there is also a need to deactivate the theme and activate it again to make all changes that were implemented function correctly.
Please note that you might need to clear the cache in order to see the changes.

The issue can’t be fixed from our end because we aren’t the script authors, we contacted Lightbox developers to speed the process but we can’t name exact terms when they fixed the problem, appreciate your understanding.
At the moment sermon videos are functioning correctly on our demo site. As a solution we recommend to disable Mobile Optimizer option on a Lightbox settings https://www.screencast.com/t/puP442053 and use links in a format youtube.com/embed/... and https://player.vimeo.com/video/...

Thanks. Before turning over access, I will say it is hosted on Wordpress.com and when I reached out to them they said it was an issue with the theme, not their hosting.

When I do a search to install the required plugins listed on how to install the demo page, nothing is available. I bought this theme based on the data that the demo could be installed. Yet it seems all of your required plugins are obsolete.

Hi guys, I’ve been using this theme for a while but have noticed something that I believe only changed with your recent update. The retina image on a Mac on a fixed header isn’t keeping it’s ratio when scrolling down and scaled. Any ideas?

As you can see on our demo site pages are loading smoothly and quickly. There shouldn’t be problems with loading speed on other installations as well.
Website page speed is highly dependable from on-site optimization. We should note that speed test result depends on images which aren’t optimized in our demo for more attractive appearance. You can verify this by checking the page without images. Besides some theme files aren’t minified(compressed) as well as plugins’ files (LayerSlider and Revolution Slider) created by other developers and used on our demo. The matter is that if all theme files are compressed many customers can experience difficulties in editing them.

Sermons are added to a page with help of a corresponding shortcode. On a Sermons shortcode settings you can choose what metadata should be displayed. Speaker is the author of the sermon (a user how published it).
“Sermons” is a custom post type and thus sermons are published using the username of the one who created it so that afterwards you can see user archives.
The solution I can suggest is to add different users with needed usernames and post sermons using appropriate user. For example you can create user Jeremy Thompson at your WordPress admin panel and add needed Sermons on his behalf, thus the speaker will be Jeremy Thompson. Another solution is to disable ‘author’ at the Sermons Shortcode Settings and add the information about the speaker at the Sermon page simply as a content.

Ok. I think the Actual speaker would be a good and vital field to have, if it’s possible for you to add that to your development wishlist. I will be managing the website for a church with many guest speakers and if would be really good to have a field that corresponds to ‘who’ is speaking. Is this something that you would consider adding to the development list?

Before i upload to live server, firstly i installed to localhost. When i try to import the XML flie (3+ MB), it has an error: The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
The maximum file to upload is only 2MB on my localhost, but your video tutorial i think around 7MB, so what should i do so i can increase the upload file size?
