how can we control the image transition between slides on the homepage? also can we add arrows to the left and right as controls?
site link: http://regalirondoors.com/
any chance of you ever replying?
You have go to following path:
skin / frontend / default / your theme / js /
and open common.js
here you can find following line
remove this line
You need to paste this code at the end of common.js
here you can change time as per you requirement.(3000 means 3 sec you have to change 10000 or 15000).
After that you need to copy following lines
effect: 'fade', // Specify sets like: 'fold, fade, sliceDown'
pauseTime: 3000, // How long each slide will show
I am having trouble randomising my ‘New Products’. All my new products are added last. How can I make so that the ‘New Products’ are showing first on the carousel?
Hello. Is there any support for this or not?
Hi, That is magento default. This could be done by extension. Please contact via email. So I send you.
Is it possible to filter by price (high/low)?
Also is it possible to have a sub category layout in the main body? For example if I click on: Woman’s, it displays the sub categories …
Sweaters, knitted tops, Shirts, t-shirts, jackets?
In the left column and right?
Yes, it is possible to create subcategories. Create using menu options.
No I mean to replicate what this extension does : http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/subcategories-grid-list.html
Is this possible? Or is it possible to use the extension if your theme doesnt offer this feature?
You can use extension if its compatible every extension comes with its own files & style so you need to adjust as per theme. Thanks!
Is it possible to achieve the same outcome without using the extension?
I’ve managed to display the sub-categories using a static block.
Can you tell me how we can filter by price (high/low)?
In the admin panel go to Catalog->Attributes->Manage Attributes. Find the attribute with code ‘price’. Select the row. Then go to Properties->Front end properties. There is a drop down “Use In Layered Navigation” and another one “Use In Search Results Layered Navigation”. Adjust these two as you like. Hope this helps. Thanks!!
Thanks but can the [Sort by price] be positioned in the top-right or top-left next to [View as] or [show 10 per page]?
Also, How do I add additional banners to the Nivo slider?
I wait almost a 20 days with no support for my query above. Please kindly assist.
