Hey! I want to create a simple Full witdth gallery… In the docu you said, that only featured images of posts are shown… But I want create 2-3 Galleries with for example 20 Pics… Do I have to create 20 posts, because only one featured image can be chosen? Thanks
Yes, that is correct. Or you can also use the default WordPress galleries option when adding media; see my screenshot: http://monosnap.com/image/qZFNwJHT3aMFrCvi9RqBvwWI5Yijvy#

Hi. Is there anyway to setup the blog posts to; 1. When the picture is clicked on it goes to the post and not a lightbox? 2. The pictures don’t create a slider in the post if there are multiple pictures in the post?
Hi, I’m afraid there is no option in our theme for this. You will have to customize the theme code to achieve this behaviour

Good day I wanted to know seeing that the new WordPress framework came out is it safe to update and what is the newest update from the Selfy theme? I am taking over a clients site as for updates so I want to be sure everything will work the same before I update.
Yes, the Selfy theme is good with the new WP update.
I got Selfy from a Themeforest Bundle last year, I wonder how can I update it? Thanks.
Sorry bundles are not eligible fr updates, its theme forests rules. You need to buy a full copy for support and updates.
Good to know not to never again buy their bundles ;(
The WooCommerce integration doesn’t seem to allow Customers to fill in information for a Shipping Address, the form isn’t part of the theme as far as I can see. I’m using it for a small two product store but Customers are required to have a different shipping address to that of their billing address.
Sorry for the late reply, We don’t have the same issue on our test/demo site: http://themecanon.net/themes/selfy-default/
Can you please open a ticket and leave your site/login details so we can take a look. Open tickets here: https://themecanon.ticksy.com/
Will there be a version 2.0 in the near future? Any ideas of upcoming changes?
Hi, We release Profiles a little time ago, this is essentially Selfy 2.0 in many ways. see it here: https://themeforest.net/item/profiles-responsive-wordpress-theme/13535223
Thanks, that looks very nice!
The support for WooCommerce isn’t 100% with this theme and a fix is required. On the Single Product Page the quantity box is displayed in many different ways. Different browsers cannot display the box properly for Customers to change the quantity to make an order.
Please can a bug fix and update be issued to rectify this issue.
Wow bought this theme a long time ago, thought i gave it a try again, but this thing is not complete at all.. how come? when i try to upload my profile image, it doesn’t work and the demo image stays there.
Hi, can you please lodge a ticket in our support system, include your URL and please be specific about what issues you’re having.
I’m having multiple issues with the Theme. For starters, it seems that some font styles are not being applied correctly. All the font characters like the social media icons, and the link icons are completely missing. I deleted some pages, because I wanted to start just with a landing page, portfolio and contact pages. I’ve tried adding the pages back with the same features that I see in template sample site, but with no luck. Out of frustration, as I went through the files to change the html & css codes, I decided to completely delete the site, blow de DB and start from scratch. So I’ve created a new DB, new credentials and re-installed the site, only to find even more issues. So I’ve updated to version 4.7.3, but not I’m having even more issues. As an example, I’ve create a new “Galleries” page with “(no parent)” and I’ve tried adding a gallery, same html code and an image using the “Add Media” button. Such assets do render in Edit mode and under both the “Visual” and “Text” tabs, but the page is published, a default page replace the content and your sample images are rendered instead! I don’t know where the code and image sources are coming from! Lot’s of issues, I know! Can you help?
How come You have not yet provided an answer to have asked additional questions on the issues I’ve been having with your product?
Hey, you know what, FORGET IT! I decided that your product was not worth spending the time and effort to make it work as advertised. I don’t know why I am having all the issues I have found. Considering that I do this for a living, and ginve that support has sucked pretty bad, I’ve decied to nuke your template and never spend a penny with this template or anu other product you have to offer now and in the future! ThemeCanon has lost my business and will always receive a negative reference from me! Thanks for nothing, and keep the change though!
Q: Do I need to purchase a new license.
My version is themeforest-5135896-selfy-responsive-retina-ready-wordpress-theme
Purchased 10 May 2015 and not previously deployed, these instructions in selfy_documentation do not apply to WP version 4.7.3
This theme comes with an XML content file to get you started. If imported this XML file will populate your theme …Navigate to your tools menu -> choose Import, then upload the supplied XML file”
thanks from Richard
Hi Richard, I answered your duplicate question above.
Hello Kenny … Have previously acquired 4 other Kenny licenses, this is a repeat enquiry..
Hi Richard, You should still be able to import the XML content file, this has not changed. To clarify are you unable to import the XML file? or is the XML file missing?
Thank you, yes, the xml file is intact. What happened was this: I had set up pages without first navigating to Selfy Settings | General to click the ‘Generate Settings Data’ tab. Now I’ve done that, all is well with the top menu that had previously eluded me. (wish I could say it’s the first mistake I’ve ever made) All well at this end, didn’t mean to take up time
The slider is not working on the home page for Selfy. All of the content has been loaded and it has worked previously. Also, the Support site is not loading. How can I resolve this issue?
Hi, the support site is up here: https://themecanon.ticksy.com/
Can you create a ticket so we can log into your site and check what the issue is?
Hi, I’ve just bought selfy and when I import the xml file it faile. The error said: Failed to create new user for ThemeCanon. Their posts will be attributed to the current user.

I tired installing the same version of word press intaller that you use in the video but it doesn’t work either. Could it be a problem with the XML file?
Hi, what is failing is the Product Post Type, If you do not have a WooCommerce store installed then products can not be imported. This should not affect the normal pages, posts and menu items.
When importing assign content from ThemeCanon to your own profile.
