Discussion on Selling - Multi-Purpose Responsive OpenCart Theme

SokoThemes supports this item

79 comments found.

Have you read the instructions for this theme? and enabled it is the opencart store menu?

I have it with OC version and it seems to work fine, so maybe you have not understood how to enable it correctly?

If you check through the manual for it and make sure you do each step, do it slowly and it will work, unless you have maybe done something wrong when installing it.

Thanks for replying on my behalf. I really appreciate it.

Yes I think I did it. it’s simple… but every changes in admin panel not affected in front end.

Sophuni thank you for your reply, but nothing changes about SokoTheme, the support is soooo terrible, i’m very regret to buy this theme. after 6 days i haven’t any answer from sokotheme.

Sorry for taking long to reply. I will make it up to you this time.

I have read all your comments and requests. Your website is the first to have this error of its kind where the admin options aren’t reflecting on the frontend.

Send me your website link and admin login via my Themeforest contact form so that I can troubleshoot where the error is and assist you as soon as possible.

With apologies,

Sent you a reply, kindly check. Regards

Hi Soko, Is it normal for the twitter feed not displaying? I also tried using the Twitter ID instead of username and it does not work.

Hi, Twitter changed its API and requires that users create apps.

I am working on this to get it sorted out. I will keep you updated via this comment thread.

Hi, good day!

I bought the theme “OC-Selling”, I installed, it’s ok, but the search button isn’t working, I can’t find any products!

If I use the default stylesheet (default theme), it works very well: <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”catalog/view/javascript/jquery/ui/themes/ui-lightness/jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.css” />

but if I use your stylesheet (OC-Selling), the search button didn’t work for me, ! <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”catalog/view/theme/selling/stylesheet/stylesheet.css” />

Please, help me!

Best Regards,

OC Version

Apology for taking too long to respond.

Let me fix it and get back to you.

Kindest regards

I am in the search to buy a e-commerce open cart theme for a jewellery store with the requirement there should be the Price Slider available right from the Home Page itself, it should then bring out result on price range across all categories. the purpose being the buyer should be able to choose any article based on budget and not have to go into each category to look for the same. this will reduce buyers time for purchase as well give choice across categories within the budget in one view. can you provide that solution in any of your themes?

Thanks for your interest in our themes. I believe there is an OpenCart plugin that for refined search. You could check it up on OpenCart marketplace.

Hi, first of all: great theme?

Two questions:

1. AM I allowed to remove the “SokoThemes” at the bottom of the page?

2. How to show the right column in the mobile view, when using flex sliders in them and responsive theme?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, nevermind, I solved it. Thanks anyway.

The only problem I have now is that the images in the flex sliders are blurred, even though their dimensions are 960×500. Btw: why do the images have to be this big, when the final dimensions of the pictures in the sliders are only 710×370 on desktop resolution?

I am sorry, I thought that I fixed it, but I didn’t. I still need to know how to make the right column stay visible on mobile view (like ST banner; they don’t get hidden).

Have you checked our demo to see if you are encountering the same problem? Please do so.

All responsive stylesheets are on responsive.css file, so removing {display: none !important} for right column should have fixed it.

You may email me your website link through my Themeforest profile contact form so that I can check.

Hi there, how ot disable the fading out on mouse over of thumbnails?

Thank you very much! Worked flawlessly! Do you have a quick solution for removing category count, too?

Thanks in advance!

To remove category count, login to admin panel and navigate to:

System >> Settings >> Edit >> Option tab >> Category Product Count

Then select the NO option.

Thank you very much!

Theme is unfortunately not compatible with IE7!

Its stated in the theme features on the right side of the description page all the browsers that are supported.

IE8, IE9, IE10.

IE7 is very old and its unable to support the new web technologies that have been used to develop the theme. You will also notice that most themes on Themeforest do not support IE7, IE6, IE5 because they are outdated as far as web technologies are concerned.

Even though there are still a few people that use the IE7 and below, its still hard to concentrate on supporting it. Its very tedious for the developers.

Polite regards

Ok, didn’t see that, sorry.

I need to know whether this theme support opencart 1.5.6 before proceed to buy… thanks

No its does not yet support 1.5.6.

I have a problem with the search box at the top of the page. It does not come back with any results but if you but the it in the on the no results page it finds it.

How do I get the top search bar to work?

Email me through my Themeforest profile contact form and I will reply with the fixed file.

Hi, how to set grid view standard in iphone potrait view? Now it’s always list view, which hides the price.

Thanks in advance!

List view and Grid view modes use JavaScript cookies to display. If a user selects either of the two, then it will be same over a period of time.

Would you like for the whole theme to show grid view by default or you just want it for the iPhone portrait only?

Best regards

Hi, always grid view in iPhone potrait mode would be nice!

Kind regards

I’ve followed the installation instructions and everything seems to working. However, I cannot find the “Selling Theme Options Panel”. Where exactly is it?

Also, I have been trying to register here: http://sokothemes.com/support/ and keep getting a “That is not a valid item purchase code.” error message. Why is this? I simple copy/paste the code as downloaded in the .txt file.

Login to admin panel of your website and navigate to:

Extensions >> Modules >> Selling Theme Options Panel

Best regards,

Thanks Peter.

What about the registration at http://sokothemes.com/support/? Anyway to fix that? I still get an error that the code is invalid.

do you maintain this?

Hi Sokotheme,

I purchased this theme, installed and uploaded products, everything is working fine, basically the featured and latest box, only show one row with the items sliding, how can I make it have up top three or four rows of items?

It’s urgent please.

Thanks for purchasing the theme.

Currently its not possible to to set the Featured and Latest to more than one row because the slider is integrated from a third-party’s jQuery slider.

However, if you really want to change it, then you can modify the code on the theme and create the rows, but its a lot of work.

Let me know if you have more queries.

Thanks for the reply, can you please brief me on how to do that, Please?

I still await your reply

Can I get the latest and new themes from you which does support for Opencart V2.0+ version? Thank You.
