Please make sure to use the latest theme version (1.0.6). The issue you have can be caused by the WordPress 4.9 version, and there is a need to update the theme, please download the newest archive from the Themeforest.

The easiest way to update the theme is to rename the old theme as seo-business-old in your wp-content/themes folder. Then you will be able to upload the new theme seo-business.zip via the WordPress admin panel and activate it.

After the theme update, please proceed to Appearance > Theme Plugins, and update all the suggested plugins. Please note that you might need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see the changes.

Could you please specify what a desired result do you need to achieve? If you want to change the /page/2/ part in the permalink it requires significant theme modification and is beyond our support policy. But changing the Blog page title should be applied correctly, just please note that if your Blog page is selected as a static page in Settings – Reading tab, no changes will be applied to it. You see, default WordPress functionality doesn’t have a possibility to select Blog layout on page, so blog feeds are generated in a such way – you pick one page, where all the posts will be placed.

That worked! Thanks. New issue: I updated the theme using ManageWP since it’s connected to ThemeForest account, but now my header doesn’t shrink on scroll. It shows the top bar and the header at it’s full height. How can I fix that?

The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site. You can find this file in the Demo content folder you downloaded from the Themeforest.

Please note, that all the images are not included and are substituted with placeholders, as according to our license we can’t redistribute them. Please install the WordPress importer plugin, then proceed to the Tools-Import-WordPress, upload file and import. You’ll need to import the Content itself and the theme settings.

The sliders are imported separately, so you need to install the slider plugin and import the slider sample file. The theme comes with a demo slider content import file. After you import it, you will have the same slider as we have on our demo, except that the background images will be absent and you will need to add your own instead. Our license does not allow us add background images to the download package, but all the other slider elements and settings, including timings will be imported.

The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning the demo content import (you can find it in the DOCS folder you downloaded with the theme archive – please open index.html file in any browser)

Please also make sure that you are using the latest theme version 1.0.5. To update the theme just download the newest archive from the Themeforest, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders). You can rename the theme you used previously (for example, adding “-old” after the theme name) – in this way the old theme will be backuped on your server.

Visual Composer (Page Builder by wpbakery) isn’t included in the theme package and we can’t guarantee its compatibility with SEO Business, as we haven’t implemented such compatibility tests. Though we can’t deny mentioned plugin will work properly with our theme.

For the demo we used our own Visual Content Composer with a huge custom shortcode collection. Please check this video demonstrating how easily shortcodes can be managed. It’s taken for another product from our portfolio, but general idea for SEO Business is the same. We’d also kindly advise to check other videos under Features menu item to see other composer and overall theme options. Our customers usually use exactly Cmsmasters’ Content Composer, as they are absolutely satisfied with it.

The theme has optimized code and structure, for more advanced options we advise our customers to use Yoast SEO plugin which is completely compatible with the theme.

Please unpack the archive, find How-To in Docs folder (that’s index file, open it with your browser) and follow the instructions carefully. You’ll need to upload exactly “seo-business” archive, if you’re installing theme via dashboard.

The matter is that logo position on the mobile is presupposed to be centered, you can check how it is displayed on our demo. Changing its displaying requires serious theme customization which is beyond our support policy, appreciate your understanding.
