Based on the price it is an insane amount compared to what you get. All customizing has to be done in CSS... very unflexible for that price compared with others.
I really like the theme, it is very stable but it doesn't allow me to customize how the website look on mobile. For example, I would to display my latest articles by using 3 columns per row on PC and 2 columns per row on mobile but as far as I know it is not possible.
That means all my articles are below each others and makes a lot of scrolling. If there is a solution please let me know.
Newspaper X allows this kind of customizability so I will go for this one until you provide a solution.

Hi there!
Thank you for your comment. You cannot manage how many columns you can have on mobile; there is only option to have one column.
However you can manage how many columns you want to have on desktop by going to WP Customizer > Theme Options > Theme Layout & Colors > Blog Columns and select 1-4.

The theme itself is suitable for surf shops and seems quite nice on the demo.
However, after i downloaded it, I didn't realise how rigid the customisations were.
Every time i've opened a ticket, I have gotten a reply a few days later and on one occcasion, I asked them for support and they told me that my query couldn't be solved. I then did my own research only to find that it could be done.
I'm a bit frustrated with this scenario since it has really made building the site difficult.
Overall the site is a nice display, but i wouldn't recommend this as a beginner friendly layout especially if you're like me and want to take a step further to customise the layout.

Hi, I'm sad to see this 1 star rating, especially as I went back to check the history of the tickets and we've always replied to you within 1 working day, many times even within hours.
Some requests were outside the scope of the features of the theme. We provide our sandbox so customers can try the theme beforehand to see if they like it or not.
I appreciate your feedback anyway and we'll use it in our future work.

Overall I really loved this theme. It's beautiful out of the box and worked great for what I used it for. A couple downfalls... There was no way to change the overall font names without going into the coding - which I didn't want to do. I feel like this should be a pretty standard setting as it is in most themes. Also, I wasn't real happy to know that I have to pay for continued support in order to receive automatic updates. ($41 every six months) Doesn't make sense to me. I don't need support after the fact but I do need a way to update the theme from within Wordpress vs having to go download the theme manually and update via FTP. Every other theme I've purchased this is a standard feature. Really not happy about this which I didn't know until my expiration. I wanted to give this a 5 stars but these two items are sort of a big thing in my book.

Keeping all of our themes up to date and compatible with all the WordPress core updates, plugin updates, and new browser versions is of extreme importance at ProteusThemes. With 20+ themes under our belt, it takes lots of development time to keep all our products in good shape. When we’re talking to our customers, many of them express their frustration when dealing with other WP theme providers, who abandon future development of their themes, so they are not compatible anymore with newer WordPress core/plugins updates. As a consequence, these theme buyers have two options: either to convince their clients to invest again in the brand-new website redesign (which usually involves huge costs between $500 and $5,000) or setup a whole new website from scratch, using another free theme and make a big loss.
In order to prevent that situation for you, we want to be the theme provider you can rely on for years. So far, we’ve never abandoned any of our themes and neither we have plans to. But as mentioned above, keeping products in good shape takes development time, and development time costs us money. We’re a company and we can be there for you if we aren’t making a loss at the end of the day. I cannot be more transparent than this with you.
At the end of the day, the investment in the license extensions is very low, compared to the second scenario, when you have to create a new WordPress website from the ground up with the new theme.
The theme looks awesome in the demo. Very confusing to setup up though. Not as flexible as I thought. If I could I would get my money back
