Dear, Im have the shopifiq theme installed and set for 2 sidebars, Now i would like to have separate sidebars for the homepage en categorie-pages. In the theme settings i removed the check on, “Category uses same layout as shop”. But at appearance> widgets, i see a few sidebars which can be used but unfortunately there is no seperation beween the sidebars on the homepage & Categorie-page. Please let me know if its possible and if yes, how can i do this… I tried adding the sidebars at Appearance> sidebars, there ive added a sidebar with the name category-page but still no effect. I hope you guys can help me out with this one. Thanks a lot and Goodday!

We are sorry but in Shopifiq theme is not such a option to have different sidebars on category. If you want to achieve this, you will need to edit code.

I checked and its this (shopifiq/woocommerce/content-product_cat.php version 2.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.2, )

Hello, we recommend using a child theme, for adding additional styles. This way your styles won’t be lost, when you update the theme.
Where you place the custom CSS does not matter, but make sure it is added after out styling, so you won’t have issues with specificity.

“When adding a Featured image you can also add up to as many images as you like besides the Featured image, which will show on the portfolio single page.”
When adding portfolio items, images do not show up on portfolio single page.
Attempted to put image in “Featured image” area and also in a “gallery” space on the page itself. Neither of these made an image appear on the screen. Just grey bar with number “1” appears.

What could be causing this to happen?
Noticed the “Portfolio” page was not selected in drop down menu of portfolio settings.
Selected and the only change is that the 1 in the blank grey box is now 2 arrows. Still does not display images.
Setting “Limit items” in portfolio settings made image display with green box, but only on hover.
Documentation needs better breakdown of how to set the portfolio aspect of the plugin.
Shopifiq requires you to upload images via the post where you want to display them. This will link the images to that specific post and show them inside the gallery. Then only select one of the uploaded images as the featured image.

I have two questions for now:
- How can I maximize the search results? There are only being displayed 10 products, whereas there are far more products to display.
- Can I adjust the filter of the search system of your template? Not all the products are being displayed, in meaning of accuracy.

1. Below the 10 search results should be a pagination where you can access the rest of them. There are 10 results showing at once, because of the Settings – Reading – Blog pages show at most 10 posts option.
2. WooCommerce provides the sorting (top select box) and pricing (widget) filters. We did not any extra filters on top of it. For more advanced filtering you will need to install a plugin.
My language folder is empty. There is no .po file in the zip file of the last version (26th July). How can I get de .po file to translate de theme?

Hi I just installed the theme, I went to the documentation and all of the images are broken. Also when installing dummy content, I get a 504 Gateway Timeout and Siteground says everything is fine on their end.

Hello, the dummy content require additional resources to execute fully. The 504 error means the server timed out – did not finish the request fully. You will need to change your server configuration in order to fix the issue. Our recommended values are:
max_execution_time = 600
memory_limit = 256M
upload_max_filesize = 32M
upload_max_filesize = 32M

Hi there, Is there any way to have the product sub-categories ‘collapse’ or close/open under the main category like a concertina / accordion? Got a lot of categories and could now do with using subs, but this will make the side ‘Product Category’ listing very long.
Hello, unfortunately such a feature is not available in our theme. We recommend that you check the WordPress plugin directory and see if a plugin has the requested feature.

Hi. When trying to import the dummy demo content, we get errors like:
- Failed to import shop_order_status cancelled
- Failed to import Media “logo2”
No images or revolution slider files are being imported. We have WooCommerce activated, tried changing the folder permissions to 777, tried increasing PHP limits (they aren’t reached – the errors show up almost immediately and this server had no issues with any other themes we used), tried using the xml file with WP importer directly (same errors). Any ideas what the reason might be? Can you e-mail us the dummy images & revolution slider? We are at email@example.com
We’ve noticed, that the dummy.xml file was exported 3 years ago – this might be the reason why importing doesn’t work. Please try to make a fresh export and send us the xml file.
Aaaand most importantly, the attachment URLs which are in the XML file don’t work. Here’s an example: http://anpsthemes.com/shopifiq_img/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/logo2.png
So, please make a fresh export file with working attachment links. Please send us the proper dummy.xml file. Also, be sure to update WordPress and WooCommerce on your side before making the export, so that the export file will be compatible with the newest versions.

I’ve got the latest version but it doesn’t seem to be working with WooCommerce Shipping Zones. When changing the State dropbox, the shipping options are not changing as they do using the Storefront theme.
